About this cottage rental
Nestled in Keuka Lake, this attractive cottage for $212 per night is a great option for your next trip. This beautiful Cape Cod is available for rental. With three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the cottage provides exceptional comfort for a family of six. The gorgeous, wrap around deck is covered in the front, and offers a great view of the lake and the end of the bluff. There is a large yard with gradual slope for children to play or exercising pets. The quiet, dirt road that goes past the cottage is used only by other cottagers, and is great for biking or walking. The entry door into the cottage leads into a country kitchen that is fully equipped for cooking. Just off the kitchen is a charming dining set overlooking the lake. The living room in the front of the cottage has comfortable, quality furnishings for guests to enjoy evening movies or board games. The first floor bedroom has a queen size bed, and is located next to the spacious first floor bathroom with shower/tub combo. The second floor features two additional bedrooms, each with dormers to enhance the lake view. One bedroom has a king bed, and the other two single beds. A full bathroom with shower is located in the hallway at the top of the stairs. The natural, level lakefront and pebble beach is perfect for children. The water depth is gradual for ideal swimming, and a dock is available to moor your boat. Nearby attractions include the Switzerland Inn lakefront restaurant, award winning wineries such as McGregor Vineyards and Ravines Wine Cellars, the Windmill Farm and Craft Market, and a short 10 minute drive to both Penn Yan and Hammondsport! Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests. Note: Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in description. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes. * Outdoor amenities, including furniture/ watercraft/ fire pits are not available between October 15- May 15 *

Good property and location. Steps coming into back door too high for older people. Steep slope from driveway to back door. Very hazardous and dangerous to older renters . Driveway “ poles and rocks are poor barriers when backing out of driveway. No railings from front porch steps to front yard. Basic safety issues that should be addressed.

This was our second time staying at this location. We absolutely love everything about it. They only thing we didn't enjoy was the water pressure at all fixtures. When taking a shower, the water just trinkled out of the shower head. There is either a broken pipe somewhere or the owner has to readjust the amount of the waterflow. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.

The house was very clean, pretty and in the perfect spot. We made a mistake with parking and they were so polite and kind in helping us fix the problem. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Great house and location. Residence was clean and prepared for our arrival with clean linens in place and all the amenities of home. My only criticism is that there should be more lights in the kitchen.

House was fine overall. Water pressure was great. Bushes in driveway need to be cut back and trimmed. Difficult to enter/exit vehicle for passengers.Very pleased with accommodations other than that.

We loved the place and would rent it again if we head this way. Quiet, clean and the staff responded immediately to a problem with the water. Good location and quiet neighborhood. Also enjoyed the local restaurant Switz which is about half a mile away and great lake views and the Curtiss Museum and the Boat Museum in Hammondsport.

The house fit all of our needs. It was clean and comfortable and in a lovely neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. When we arrived, we found a goodie bag for us and a goodie bag for our dog. That was a nice surprise. Being across the road from the lake was amazing. We took in some gorgeous sunsets while relaxing on the dock. The covered porch was also a great feature. We truly enjoyed our stay at Lakewood Landing and would recommend it highly. We look forward to staying there again.

It was my husband, myself, son, daughter and son-in-law in this pet friendly home. It was the perfect size. We enjoyed the front porch so much. The welcome package came in so handy with 2 dish tabs, dish soap….only complaint our shower had several hairs in it upon arrival.

Exact parking should have been communicated properly as we had another home owner harass us even tho we already took care of the parking issue with our rental company.

I'd say the property is well managed. After we booked the cottage, they sent me emails with checking in/out instructions, list of what to bring, ect; in each email, I was assured that I can call them for any concerns/questions/issues. We felt so welcomed! It's very clean, well equipped and they even had treats for my dogs! How lovely and thoughtful! The neighbor is very quiet, the water of the lake is very clear and clean. One more thing I want to mention is that there was a note left with one of the planters on the porch to remind us to water it carefully as there was a bird nest in there! During our stay, the birds were hatched! It shows that the property owner/management staff are so caring and friendly! Thank you for letting us had a wonderful/relaxing vacation there!

Great stay
The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Clean comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The dock is across a quiet road. The road has zero traffic but is a great walkway to the Switz. There’s a brew pub about a half mile walk away as well. We hung out on the dock on the chairs they had down there. It’s a little shallow but we were able to dock our boat without any issues. It didn’t rain but if it did there was a big covered porch. The place was great.

The wrap around porch was beautiful and offered plenty of shade. Everything we needed for outside was in great shape- furniture, grill, & fire pit. The dock was perfect for relaxing on as well. The “neighborhood” was quiet and there was a restaurant and brewery within walking distance. I can’t say enough good about the house, property, and surroundings. I will definitely be back!

My spouse and I wanted a long weekend getaway for us to spend with our mothers. I can not say enough positive about the property and our experience. The location was quiet, the home spacious and very well kept inside and out. It met all four of our expectations. They provided all nice linens and the kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. Although we were not right on the lake ( which we understood before booking), it still had lale access and it's own dock to sit at and fish. We caught several nice size bass! The community was quiet and allows us enjoyable meals and puzzle time on the porch. Even when we were not able to figure out the downstairs TV ( there were 5 remotes and we just couldn't get cable but could watch dvds), the property management sent maintenance out the very next am and fixed the loose cable. This place was clean, modern, open spaced enough for my aged parent that uses a cane, and the perfect place that allowed us to feel as if we were fortunate enough to be invited to a family member's well kept vacation home and not a place where it felt cold, too pristine or as if we didn't get our money's worth. When we want to return, we definitely will try to come here again and we will recommend it to our friends and family too.

Everything was very nice. Very clean. Only two things could have been different. Much smaller than expected. Wide angle lenses make the inside look larger then it actually is. Also, needs privacy shades on windows. Over all pleased, definitely looking forward to return.

We were very happy to have found this great location. Very friendly neighborhood and close to restaurants and lakes. The dock area was just across the road and very easy to access. The home was comfortable and had what we needed.
