The property is ideally positioned on the bay to enjoy a beautiful long view and easy access down to the shore. The full windows in the front of the house afford a bright and broad view of the bay at all times of the day. While neighbors on either side were busy with some home maintenance, the setting overall is mostly tranquil and beautiful. The home is comparatively older but in good condition. Our host was responsive to our needs. We would surely return should the opportunity arise.

This was a grandpa/grandson getaway. The house is well laid out for awesome views and perfect for wildlife watching. We saw harbor seals, several deer, fawns in the yard and a fox on the road not far from the driveway entrance. My wife and I are also VRBO owners (1720102) and I appreciate the extra touches that added to the experience, Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods included. Beach access, beach towels, firewood, hot tub, quality grill, cliff side viewing area, plus comfy indoor viewing/seating area with easily accessible comforters. Everything is very inviting. I’m hoping to come back with my wife later in the year. We like flying in on Friday Harbor Seaplanes to Roche Harbor making getting here much easier/faster and a lot of fun. Then renting a car from M&W car rental/sales. Pickup in either Roche Harbor or Friday Harbor Seaplanes I was disappointed with the lack of communication. I reached out to the owner multiple times (VRBO message, text message and phone call) with no response. If my question had involved some kind of emergency I would have contacted VRBO support. My only suggestion/request would be an earlier check-in time, a hand grab in the shower and a small portable electric fan. Otherwise, this is truly a little bit of paradise. I highly recommend.

This was an amazing location with incredible views! Our family had an amazing trip, spotting seals and a sea otter from the beach! Everything was as described in the listing!
