Beautiful grounds surrounded by extensive vineyards, comfortable rooms, and lovely, helpful restaurant staff.
The biggest opportunity for this property is to invest in staff training and stronger day-to-day management. Our check-in was somewhat confusing, as the description of our room was misleading. We also flagged a broken curtain in our room, which we were told would be fixed the following day. We had no issue with this, but unfortunately, when it became clear that it couldn’t be repaired as planned, no one proactively updated us and I had to follow up myself.
The lake is a great feature and has a lot of potential, but the infrastructure around it currently looks somewhat unkempt. After a heavy rain, the sunbed mattresses were left outside, and there were empty wine glasses around the pool that remained there throughout our stay without being cleared.
Overall, this is a property with beautiful surroundings and a lot of potential. With some investment in staff training, attention to detail and better day-to-day management, it could be a truly exceptional place.

The wine tasting experience was exceptional, an informative session the young lady who did the tasting was very knowledgable and informative, the highlight of our stay.
We had booked a Superior double room, the room we were initially shown was very small, in no way could it be described as 'superior'. Within ten minutes we were back at reception seeking an alternative room, we were shown the only room available, a suite, and this was €190 extra for three nights. At dinner the first evening the service was slow and one waitress was particularly surly. Checkout was a nightmare, they had no clue about our wine tasting, nor the wines we had bought. In the final analysis they waived the supplement for the upgraded room,
