PET POLICY We love furbabies, and have 2 little ones of our own. First and foremost, know that dogs are not allowed on trails at Big Bend National Park; and you may not leave dogs in your car while at the Park. See https://www.nps.gov/bibe/planyourvisit/pets.htm for further info. With this in mind, if you plan on being at the Park for the majority of your stay at our casa, it may be advisable to leave your babies at home, especially if the weather is hot. If you do bring your furry friends, our pet policy requires the following: A $10 per day per dog pet fee. You can add this to your total when booking your stay. A maximum of 2 dogs under 50 lbs. Dogs must be crated securely if left alone at the casa. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture. Please make sure you pick up after your dog, and dispose of poop properly in the trash. Please ensure that your pets do not disturb our neighbors, and don’t leave them in the yard unattended, especially after dark. If our top notch cleaning folks find that your pets have left the house needing extra cleaning due to mud, fur or shedding, etc., you will be charged additional amounts to cover their extra time. 1 large, private bedroom with rustic wood floors, king size bed with woven leather headboard, upholstered storage bench, antique Mexican armoire, and sandstone and metal end tables. During the winter months, house is kept cozy by propane heaters in the living room and dining room. The bathroom is heated and vented by an overhead fixture.
