Nestled in Seabrook Island, this lovely house for $476 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 1155 Summerwind Welcome to the charming beach cottage at 1155 Summerwind. Relax on the expansive screened porch while you sip sweet tea and watch the golfers play on Crooked Oaks Golf Course. You'll love the convenience of this location - just 1 mile from the Beach Club, Island House and Golf Courses. If you're up for a stroll, it's a short walk to the Pelican Beach access to watch the sunsets or search for shells. Once inside you'll appreciate the open floor plan with plenty of light and charming hardwood floors. High ceilings give an airy feel to the beachy vibe throughout. The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless appliances, Keurig coffee maker, new pots and pans and dish service for 12. There is an eat in kitchen table with 4 chairs and an additional dining table in the main living area with seating for 7. The great room has a wonderful sectional couch to stretch out on while watching the 55" TV over the fireplace. Sliding doors lead from the great room out to the awesome screened porch and deck that stretches across the back of the cottage and overlooks the golf course. You'll find the porch and deck ideal for catching sight of some of Seabrook Islands abundant wild life. The master bedroom suite is spacious and features a king bed with en suite bath with granite vanity and hair dryer. There is a 32" HDTV with Netflix for your viewing entertainment. In case you can't quite leave work behind, there is a moveable laptop desk and chair for your convenience. The master bedroom also has a sliding door that give access to the screened porch. The second and third bedrooms are on the opposite side of the great room. There is a full hall bath with skylight, granite vanity and hair dryer that both bedrooms can access easily. The second bedroom has a queen bed and sliding doors leading to the deck. The third bedroom features 1 full bed and 1 twin bed. *Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes. Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge. Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment. Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply. THIS PROPERTY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 3 GATE PASSES TOTAL Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive. Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club are included in the rent. These cards give you access to the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply). Your (1) dog companion up to 50 lbs. is welcome in this dog friendly cottage; additional pet fees apply. This is the perfect cottage to settle in and enjoy all the best that Seabrook Island has to offer. Fireplace for decorative purposes only. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have. For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement. SI Business License 2023-0590

This was a perfect location and property for a group of adults and kids! The villa was wonderful with a large kitchen and wonderful deck. The communication was great! It helped us plan our time and enjoy some great excursions! The check in process was simple and quick. The pools, restaurants, beach and other amenities were great! We will certainly be back soon!

Rented this house for the holidays with family that drove up from FL (and we drove down from MA). The house's 3 bedrooms nicely accommodated our needs. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking/eating. We utilized the beautiful back, screen in porch a lot which has a table for eating and a nice sitting area with high end deck furniture. House is located on a quiet street, and the neighbors we saw were all nice, and said hello or waved when we drove by. Beaches were quiet at this time of year, and were beautiful. We didn't utilize many of the amenities the island has to offer besides the indoor poor at the Lake House, and it was very nice (there was also a really nice work out room there). House is pet friendly (our dogs loved it, and were able to go on the beach at this time of year). All in all, it was a great house, that made for a great trip. Thank you to the owners.

We stayed at Starfish cottage for 7 nights with 5 adults, 2 small children and a dog. We had a wonderful time and the house seems to have been recently redecorated but could use some upkeep (bathrooms, especially). And it needs a thorough deep cleaning. But location was perfect - we rented bikes to ride to the beach club and pool.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Seabrook Island is a great place for a beach trip. I do recommend booking activities like horseback riding well in advance as they fill up so you don’t miss the opportunity. The beach club pool was a great spot and the cottage was clean and well appointed. Highly recommend.

We love seabrook so much! The property was in the perfect location and well equipped. Watching all the golfers hit a tree with their ball was the highlight of sitting on the porch. Weather was perfect as usual!

Loved our stay at 1155 Summer Wind Cottages. The house was clean and fresh feeling. All of the beds were wonderful, the kitchen was large and had everything we needed and more including Tupperware and large platters for charcuterie. Sat on the porch almost nightly. The pool and beach was less than 5 minutes away by golf cart. Loved that we were notified we could check in a few hours early. Will definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful stay on Seabrook Island, three weeks of comfort, peace, and quiet in a beautiful setting. We loved the walkability of the entire community and, especially, our daily walks to the beach area through the well-managed, lush grounds. We found our house to be well-located on a quiet side street, well-equipped and well-supplied. We appreciated, too, that the community is so dog-friendly. We are very satisfied with our stay on Seabrook Island - a welcoming house, a beautiful location, friendly staff and neighbors, and a fine jumping-off point for our visits to sites in the larger Charleston region.

Nancy and her staff were wonderful to work with. The cottage was conveniently located and decorated very nice. We did encounter some cleaning issues and dirty linens upon arrival but Nancy worked to resolve quickly. Overall, we enjoyed our family vacation at Seabrook Island.

We had a really nice time but had a couple disappointments. The drawers in the kitchen had crumbs in them and there were no towels in the bathroom . The kitchen itself was a little dated, but everything else was good.

Due to hurricane Dorian, our trip to Seabrook Island was in question. Nancy Buck, the property manager, was very responsive and did an excellent job of keeping us informed. When we arrived at the Starfish Cottage, it was clean, bright, and welcoming. Well stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare several meals in, and the comfortable living room and fabulous screen room provided many hours of relaxing families lunch time. We visit Seabrook often and this cottage is one of our favorites.

ANTS (millions)ruined ALL of the food and Groceries that wasn’t in refrigerator. Lost $200-300 in food. Huge Cockroaches in home making it very uncomfortable lounging or sleeping due to the uncertainty of one getting on you. Refrigerator over/under cooled refrigerated products. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Unit isn’t fit for rental

Summerwind Cottage is the perfect place for a quiet getaway! The place is tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The beds are very comfortable and it is very clean. The screened-in porch is fabulous! It's just a short car ride or brisk walk to the pool and beach area. Also, there are some nice restaurants and quaint shops a couple of miles away. Downtown Charleston is close as well - always a good time! I highly recommend this property.
