Charming Three Bedroom Home on a Quiet Street in Town
About this house rental
Located in Homer, this lovely house for $410 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Come visit us at The End of the Road Inn! This three bedroom house is perfect for couples traveling together, families, or just people who like space! The connected living, dining, and kitchen area are spacious yet cozy and invite visiting while while cooking. There is complementary WiFi, a flat screen television in the living room and another in the master bedroom. A handmade waterfall with local sea life and a cozy electric fireplace make for relaxing background noise and great atmosphere. The comfortable bar is great for visiting while cooking or for a quick meal on the go. There is plenty of seating for mealtimes and visiting! The table seats six and bar seats three, as well as a couch, armchair, and ottoman. A separate laundry room features a washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board; and there are plenty of detergents and fabric softeners in the cupboards! The kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee pot and grinder, electric kettle, toaster, blender, knives and cooking utensils, full set of silverware, coffee mugs, water/ wine/ champagne/ martini glasses, pots, pans, cutting boards, bowls, platters, tupperware and paper plates for picnics, as well as cooking basics like coffee, tea, flour, sugar, oil, and spices. Just ask - we probably have it! The three bedrooms are fully made-up with linens, extra blankets, and a large selection of board games for family fun. We have a pack-n-play, high chair, and other baby items such as strollers upon request. The first bedroom features a comfy queen bed, full closet, and an ocean theme. The second bedroom includes a double-over-double bunk bed, full closet, and dresser. The master bedroom has a full bed, sliding glass door out to the large backdeck and yard, and a 42" flat screen television for relaxing after a busy day enjoying Homer! The guest bathroom includes a bathtub and the master bath has a shower. There is a large driveway out front with plenty of parking for at least three vehicles, a dog house for your pet, front and side porches, and a large back deck with outdoor seating and a propane grill for enjoying your fresh catch or just kicking back with a glass of wine in the backyard. Come on over - we can't wait to meet you!! Interaction with guests I am available anytime by phone or email, and can make recommendations on dining and recreation and assist with booking. The neighborhood Our home is located in a family-friendly neighborhood on a quiet, dead end street minutes from the heart of Homer. Getting around We have a large driveway with parking for three or more vehicles, boat, or RV. We're minutes from the heart of Homer, and 5 minutes from the airport and the Spit. Taxi from the airport will be five to $10. It is less than a mile walk to museums, restaurants, and shops. The Spit is a 5 to 10 minute drive. Unfortunately there is not a public bus.

Lila is a great host, as she communicated well and often to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Even better, this home comfortably provided 6 adults and a puppy an awesome accommodation during our Homer visit. The location is just minutes from the restaurants and the Spit. Our hostess Lila is a great communicator and welcoming hostess, offering to bring over games or kitchen gadgets, etc. We had everything we needed for our two night stay, but we appreciated the offer!
The house has lovely light in the kitchen/dining/living area, with comfortable seating for lounging and relaxing.
The 3 bedrooms had ample "blackout" shades and drapes and wonderful mattresses, for a very comfortable sleep.
The place was very clean.
If it hadn't been so stormy (rain and fierce wind) we could have easily walked to the Pioneer Avenue shops and restaurants, and even taken a bit longer walk to Fat Olive's and Bishop's Beach. As it was, we drove to those places and to the spit.

Wonderful views, clean well kept accommodations. Host reached out several times to ensure we didn’t need anything. This morning mama moose and two babies were right outside the back patio door. We had an amazing trip. Thanks so much!

We enjoyed our stay. Was easy to find and keyless entery worked perfect. Everything was clean, the bedrooms were very comfy and everyone slept great after our busy days. The host checked to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Some good and some not so
Nice. Owner should make certain there are enough glassware for visitors. We only had two glasses for 4 people. We could not figure out the a/c heating thermostats. Something in the hall closet ran all day and night not sure why or what it is for. Lila was very helpful with restaurants in town. Few were open for indoor dining. Most for delivery? Very odd. TV was not easy use. When we finally got it to work all that was had to view was Netflix. But for some reason it was not the Netflix I am used to. Very odd as well.
Plants, flowers trees,in the yard were most amazing and the highlight of The Who,e property.

This home is in the perfect location, and is equipped perfectly. I have stayed at many VRBO, and this was the most comfortable. The Host took care of all our needs.

We stayed here two nights and had all good things to say about the property and the owners. It is in a quiet and pretty neighborhood, away from the busy touristy area, which made us feel like home. The house is beautiful from outside, surrounded with flower window boxes and baskets. The house inside is spacious and decorative, very artistic. We liked having separate bedrooms for each kid, plenty of space for storage, very nice washer and dryer. Lila is so wonderful! She gave us information for tours in Homer and was great in communicating with us during our stay. We couldn't be happier.
