About this house rental
Located in Tybee Island, this lovely house for $1,044 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Dune Villa offers a great experience for large families traveling together! The home is separated into 3 separate units so you will have space to enjoy time will the family, but also space to getaway. Combined the property offers 7 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3 kitchens, 3 living rooms, and can sleep up to 22. Guests will enjoy the central location which is only 200 yards from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, Memorial Park, playground, and the public library. The top two floors of the home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. It offers a large open living area, dining area, and kitchen which is a great space for spending time with family or friends. The living area has ample lounge seating including two sleeper sofas and a large flat-screen TV. The dining area has seating for 8 and an additional 4 at the kitchen island. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and would be a great space for family dinners or holiday meals. There are two guest bedrooms located on this level, each bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and a flat-screen TV. There is also a full bathroom on this floor with a walk-in shower and a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The top floor is the third bedroom which is furnished with two Queen beds, a flat-screen TV, an attached private bathroom with tub/shower combo, and an extra table seating area with seating for 4. This room has access to a private balcony with views of the ocean over the rooftops. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, central heat/air (the main floor only, the top floor offers its own AC/heat unit for added guest comfort). The ground level of Dune Villa offers two separate 2 bedroom apartments which are mirror images of each other. Each apartment offers an open living area with a sleeper sofa and TV and a dining area with seating for 4. Each kitchen is fully equipped with the exception of a dishwasher. Each apartment offers two bedrooms with flat-screen TVs, one a Queen and the other a King. Both ground-level apartments are separate from the upstairs 3 bedrooms but are still easily accessible by walking up the exterior staircase. Guests will enjoy a furnished, covered screened porch attached to the front of the downstairs residences. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, porches, ample parking with space for 7 cars. The ground level of the home is also pet-friendly, for an additional fee. Please note that no house parties or special events are allowed at any of our properties. When combined with Dune Villa, that would be a total of 11 bedrooms, sleeping up to 30 guests. This was my first time host an Christian retreat in an intimate setting. The location was great the women who traveled from Florida, South Carolina, New York and Tennessee had an amazing time.

Our family & friends absolutely loved this property! It was in the perfect location for everything around on Tybee Island. We were even able to walk for restaurants in the area and take a roundtrip trolley ride to Savannah on the day of the parade! The home had everything our large group needed — laundry area, enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably, kitchen & gathering spaces, storage, etc.
Will definitely be visiting this property again!

We rented this with the expectation of having a nice space for 4 families to get together. The house is very disjointed and the stairs were outside which was not ideal for our younger kids to go back and forth to rooms.
Cleanliness was also a concern and the property did not seem to be well maintained. Screened in porch was filthy and carpet upstairs needed replaced. Kitchen was adequate but missing many kitchen staples and the refrigerator was missing all the shelves in the door which was annoying when trying to store large amounts of food for the group. Ice maker was not hooked up - also annoying for a beach rental. One of the doors had damage that was not repaired.
Overall we were not thrilled with this rental for our purposes of a family trip - may have been a better fit for a college spring break group.

Great access to the beach, only a block away. We rented the whole house and one apt had an oven door that needed to be fixed three times! Maintenance came pretty promptly, though it was inconvenient and dinner for grandkids was delayed.

Perfect location to the beach and to restaurants
We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for families that need space of their own! The downstairs apartments were great! We rented a golf cart to explore the island and bikes are also fun. I’d recommend this house for grandparents, great grandparents, and their children. The top floor was great for the young family- napping without noise.

Plenty of room for everyone with bedrooms, baths, kitchen, great room, linens , cooking utensils, etc. We checked in Dec.23and noticed a strong odor or urine in kitchen-assumed someone’s pet had an accident - understandable as it was a pet ftiendly rental. We attempted to mop floor to remedy. stronger to mop floor. Next night we heard noises of scratching and something walking on ceiling area of downstairs apts. Monday morning ( day of our checkout) we awoke to find fresh fruit on countertops partially eaten and rat turfs in living room behind couch. We notified Tybee Rental immediately as this is a health issue and so that they could mediate before renting this property to others. Other issues: Exterior motion controlled light on steps does not function properly leaving staircase very dark to navigate after sunset. The dryer takes over two hours to dry one load of clothes - no doubt dryer vent plugged and needs to be cleaned - a fire hazard as well as inconvenient. Chain missing one living room fan making it hard to shut off. TV reception is very poor and difgict to use. All in all, not a good experience and very disappointing for price paid for our four days at Tybee Island. We will be sending this info. to Tybee Rental also snd would expect some sort of monetary reduction compensation for a TD tal much less than advertised. Pat Hickman

The location is fantastic. Super easy access to the beach. The house had maintenance issues (washer didn’t work, doorknob fell off, AC barely worked in one unit, fridge in lower unit covered in rusty scratches). The overall maintenance of the house did not live up to expectations based on the listing.

No water pressure
The house was perfect, plenty of room and so fun, but there was no water pressure in the upper level downstairs bathroom. Showering was very difficult and longer than necessary.

Family Reunion 2016-2017
Our Family Reunion was planned 6 months ago initially in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Due to the Forest Fire our cabin was burnt. We booked the Dune Villa 2 weeks before the New Year Eve. We were very pleased with our stay and location of the Villa. Grandparents, Adults and Children all had a fantastic and spectacular time enjoying Tybee Island and City of Savannah. Our Family Reunion was a weekend to remember, remembering all the good times from 2016 and ringing in 2017 with our loved ones :) Happy New Year from our family to Yours!

This house is amazing! It was beyond what I could ever imagined! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay. There was plenty of room for everyone and we loved the large kitchen, dinning room, and living room being all together for the main get gathering times.

SO AMAZING!!!
WE stayed with a small group for a few days before we celebrated our beach wedding. The house is gorgeous, and was so perfect for our group. Plenty of space and quick communication with the rental company if we needed to. I cannot wait to go back!!
