About this house rental
Nestled in Heber Springs, this charming house for $340 per night is a great option for your next break. Virginia's Keep is a wonderful property that is located directly on Greers Ferry Lake. The lake views are excellent any time of the year. Sunsets are priceless. The lake is steps away from the back door or deck. Your pontoon boat can be tied up at the shoreline for easy lake access. A boat launch is just a few hundred yards away. The deck provides shade, sunshine, and unforgettable sunsets. Sip your morning coffee on the porch swing while you watch the hummingbirds and enjoy the peace and quiet of your home-away-from-home. There is a charcoal grill and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and telling stories. The house is nicely furnished and offers plenty of room for the whole family. An air-conditioned sunroom has wall-to-wall windows to take it all in. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and it's own separate bath. The second bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and the third bedroom offers a full-sized bed. Both secondary bedrooms have access to a large hall bathroom. The walkout basement is newly remodeled and has a pool table (with ping-pong topper), foosball table, a Murphy pull-down bed, and lots of room with another large bathroom with shower. This home sits on nearly an acre of land with a wonderful canopy of trees. Many species of animals, including deer, call this area home. In addition to the birds, turtles, and our “pet” red fox, we enjoyed a rare sighting of a bald eagle this past spring. Some of the area attractions include golf, hiking, fishing, sailing, water skiing, jet-skiing, snorkeling, shopping and antiques. Or, just enjoy relaxing and catch up on that novel you’ve been meaning to finish. Play some badminton or croquet. Put together a puzzle on the deck while the kids chase lightning bugs. We provide the badminton, croquet, and a wide selection of puzzles. At night, there is a library of DVD’s for family enjoyment or you can bring your own. If you need anything from town, Heber Springs is just a three minute drive away. In town, you’ll find restaurants and shops, including a Wal-Mart if you forgot your sunscreen. This is our second stay at this lovely home and perfect for our two families. Tons of rooms, bed are comfy, kids loved the ping pong table & foosball (so did us parents, actually). Really enjoyed the outside deck in the morning with our coffee watching the boats go by. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything and more. Nice and quiet street. The owner, Margie, was extremely friendly, responsive and answered all our questions quickly. Highly recommend!

The property was exactly as listed. The house was nice, and it was just a short walk to the lake where you could swim. Everyone loved the ping pong and pool table. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing lake getaway.

This house is perfect for a large family or for multiple families! We enjoyed the porch with lake view and the sunroom with all of the windows! There was plenty of room for our kids to spread out and play games in the basement! The owners are so quick to respond!!

This house is just as described in the listing. The house is shared by lots of beautiful trees, but through them you still have a lovely view of the lake. The owners were so easy to communicate with, always responding to questions quickly. A boat dock would have been nice, but we knew going in there wasn't one. I definitely recommend this home. We hope to be back!

Awesome Labor Day weekend!!
We had an awesome time!! Thanks so much! We had 9 guests and plenty of room for everyone. The grill worked great and we were able to tie our rented pontoon overnight at the water. So convenient. The owners answered all our questions promptly and we had a wonderful time.

Our group of two families (4 adults and 5 children) was very comfortable in this home. We valued the many spaces that allowed for smaller groups to break off and be together (sun room, porch, deck, covered outdoor lower-level seating area, basement, living/dining room) as well as the overall large feel of the home and its lot.
Communication with the owners was prompt, friendly and clear, and the house had been thoroughly cleaned upon our arrival. We also enjoyed preparing our meals in the well-stocked kitchen.
A big open question for us was what the lakefront actually looked like, and access from the home was easy enough. Future guests should know that there is little to no shade at the lakefront and that the water access is rocky. This didn't stop our fun however (add water shoes and an umbrella or shade structure, and you're good to go).
We rented boats from the Damsite marina and enjoyed the cliff jumping option nearby. We also did some climbing at the Jamestown Crag about an hour away near Batesville and were treated to a beautiful mist on the Little Red River at the end of the Collins Creek trail.
All in all this house was an excellent size and home base for our group, and we left the area after a busy week without having done and seen all we wanted to.

We had a great stay! The house is spacious and right on the water. The basement had ping pong an pool table that we all enjoyed in the evenings. The property was well kept and the water access was very nice. The owner was easy to talk to and work with, I recommend this property.

Lake front beauty
We had the best time!! Perfect house for multiple families with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the back deck and the beautiful views. Having a boat launch so close and being able to leave boat in the water on property was very nice. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We hope to stay there next year :)

A nice house with plenty of room. Several things need updated. A little bit out of style for families with younger children. Only one room with a newer tv. BBQ grills both need replaced. Other than that it is a great home with a fantastic location.

We sure enjoyed our stay! We loved the spacious rooms! Lots of games & puzzles to keep us busy in the evenings along with WiFi. We did not want for anything as far as cooking utensils & dishes go! Well stocked with necessities. Easy & close access to the lake & nice neighborhood. Would definitely book again & recommend to friends!

We had 10 family members staying at the house and everything was great!! The house is large and has plenty of room for a large group. The view of the lake from the house is perfect! I would definitely rent again!

Truly a HOME away from home!
The house was exactly as described and Margie was absolutely wonderful to work with. The location of the house is ideal for those with a boat or without. The scenery for my morning runs did not disappoint! The home is definitely large enough to accommodate a large family gathering, but it was perfect for a small family like ours as well.
The views from the porch are incredible! We finished our days out by the fire pit roasting hotdogs and s’mores! The porch swing was the icing on the cake! 😁�
I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our trip. We will definitely be back!

Great location and steps from the lakefront.
This is a nice, clean, large home, just an easy stroll to the lake. It is a little dated, but still comfortable for families. Three bedrooms, three full baths, three large couches in different areas where adults could sleep, and cots are available, also. The basement is rather dark, but has a pool table, with a ping pong table cover, and a foosball table. One of the bathrooms is located in the basement. If the TV was updated, I could see older kids using this area a lot of the time. There is a large flat screen TV in the enclosed sunroom, WiFi, and pretty good cell reception. The kitchen has a newer fridge and range, and has plenty of the essential pots, pans, and utensils for average meal prep. A Mr. Coffee type coffee pot and a pod type coffee pot, microwave, and pop up toaster are available. You also have a large laundry room with washer and dryer to use. A covered porch with a swing and seating for several people overlooks the lake, and a very nice charcoal grill is located in the carport. The path to the lake is a little overgrown, but the rock beach is nice. You could easily pull a pontoon boat up and tie it off there. The yard and other outside areas just need a little bit of love, and this would be nearly perfect. WalMart and The Big Dam Site Park (swimming, beach area, picnic sites, and the rocks for diving) are five minutes away. This is a great location, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and will, hopefully, be staying here again in the future. We really appreciate the owners allowing us to use this lovely home.

Arkansas Adventure with Grandkids
This is a very nice and roomy house, with plenty of space for everyone. Well furnished with several good seating areas for watching television or other activities. Grandkids loved the basement with ping pong, pool table and foosball. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for your stay. Nice setting on large wooded lot with views of Greer's Ferry lake. Plenty of nice outdoor areas to enjoy the scenery. This home is very well located and convenient to everything in and around Heber Springs and Greer's Ferry Lake. We would definitely stay here again.
