Private and Comfortable 3 Bedroom House
About this bed and breakfast
Situated in Cayuga Lake, this lovely bed and breakfast for $238 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Whatever the Season there's so much to see and do. Summer is for relaxing. There's so much to do in the Finger Lakes. But sometimes just taking it easy and relaxing is too good to pass up. Judy's Guest House is the place for this. Air conditioning inside, when the weather is too hot to venture out. A shaded patio with a propane grill is just asking for a Shish-ke-bob and a huge green salad. Starting in June there is the firefly spectacular. The lawn, trees and nearby fields are alive with millions of flashing lights. Time to sit outside with a cool drink and just watch nature at its best. And there is always a great fireworks display in July. Or grab a pole (make sure you have a license) and bring home a fresh trout or bass for dinner! Fishing is really great here and Cayuga Lake has hosted the Bassmaster Elite Tournament and Festival in past years. If you're not the relaxing type, here are just a few things that can make your summer come alive. • Cinemas • Antiquing • Horseback Riding • Museums • Live Theater • Boating • Parasailing • Sight Seeing • Finger Lakes Wine Trail • Kayaking • Fishing • Sailing • Swimming • Restaurants • Theater • Music • Trumansburg Farmer's Market • Cabin View Alpaca Farm -lovely Alpaca items for sale • Glenwood Farms Bison • Cornell • Ithaca College • Waterloo Premium Outlet with 100 brand name stores • Hector National Forest • Harris Hill Soaring Center • Watkins Glen International Race Track • Corning Glass • Night Life • Ithaca Farmer’s Market • Goat Cheese Trail • Newman Arboretum • Sonnenburg Gardens • Seward Museum • Harriet Tubman Home

Magical backyard! Loved how close we were to town but had a total country vibe. Beds were comfortable too

We always enjoy staying here. The host even helped us out when bad weather delayed our departure this time around. We will definitely stay again in the future!

The house was clean and orderly, beds made up and television worked fine. There is an odor when you run the water both in the kitchen and bath. Also a few bugs inside but nothing harmful. We needed to turn on the heat and that worked perfectly. I also appreciated the simple check-out instructions.

We had a great time staying at Judy's Guest House. It is a great starting point for exploring the Finger Lakes, being close to Cayuga Lake and lots of wineries & cideries.
The kitchen provided everything we needed for cooking breakfasts and would have been fine for lunch and dinner if we weren't out running around.
Beds were comfortable, and the heating and a/c worked well.
Lots of space for our dogs to stretch out and plenty of good smells to investigate out in the yard.
A nice comfortable place to stay, especially if you have pets that travel with you.
We'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the house was just as described. Great communication with Judy, she was very responsive! Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

My friends and I spent the weekend in the Finger Lakes celebrating my birthday. The house was nicely laid out and offered plenty of space for all of us. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and great tv in the living area to watch the US Open. Was close to Ithaca, hiking areas and of course wineries. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Exactly as described. We had a wonderful time. The location is ideal to explore the region - with nearby wineries and waterfall trails - and our stay was like a retreat with beautiful wildflowers all around. Judy's communication and helpfulness surpassed all expectations!

our first impression was not the best----the towels had a rather unusual order---my wife said 'musty'. Also unable to turn on TV according to the directions provided. The caretaker showed up and exchanged the towels and also showed us how to manually turn on the TV and a separate unit for the audio. The kitchen also had a sponge that was black on one side---which was thrown away. After that---things improved. The location was great for us The grill worked very well. AC was needed and worked flawlessly. The beds were comfie. All kitchen appliances worked well and we had a wonderful time in the back yard----very relaxing and refreshing.

The location was perfect. Close to State Parks, dog park, restaurants, breweries and wineries. The house was comfortable but it could use updating particularily the kitchen and bathroom. The outdoors was not recently landscaped. The owner was very responsive and sent someone to clear some of the overgrowth so that we could access the babbling brook which our 2 dogs enjoyed.

The home was literally Cobb webs in every room every wall Took me 45 min to wipe them down many spiders whom acted like they were hanging out with us

It was quiet and all what we had expected. Very nice place. Out of the way yet near stores.

There was a bunch of dog hair all over. I found mouse poop everywhere in the house. There were a bunch of big by the fireplace. The linens need to be upgraded. They are very old and cause slit of allergens. You can feel the springs on the couch and beds. The house is at a great location close to all the falls however it needs updates.

Judy's guest house was not far from city of Ithaca and close to hiking spots. Enjoyed morning coffee on the back porch . The best part is that the beds were comfortable. The couch not so much. Was an easy place to bring my dog and she loved the back yard and stream

My friends and I stayed at Judy's guesthouse while attending the dog show in Romulus. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the linens very nice. The house is fairly close to the road but there really wasn't much traffic, especially at night, so it was quiet. Trumansburg is close with several restaurants and shops. Good location.

Easy to book, outstanding communication from the owner and exactly what we needed for us and our dogs. Large yard for them to run and if your up early like we are, walking the road was no issue with minimal traffic. Very quiet at night and sitting on the back patio was awesome. Proximity to Ithaca, wineries, parks to see the many beautiful waterfalls was second to none!!

We had a wonderful stay at Judy’s place. We were attending a wedding nearby and the location was perfect. It was also very convenient to go into Ithaca. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The yard was large for my kids to play. As others have mentioned, there is sulfur in the water - but it was not bad at all from our previous experience with sulfur wells. There was also drinking water provided, so I wouldn’t let that deter you from staying! I accidentally left a favorite necklace there after it was knocked off the dresser. Judy found it, reached out for my address, and mailed it back within days. She refused to accept money for the shipping. That level of customer service was really above and beyond and I appreciated it!

This is a great spot for a landing pad to do things in and around Ithaca. Not too far from restaurants or wineries.

Weekend Winery & Wedding Trip
Judy’s Guest House is in a great location! It’s the perfect place to put your feet up and relax after a fun day of hiking and winery tours. The beds are comfortable and it is very quiet and peaceful. It is located off of a country road, but not in a neighborhood with reduced speeds. The backyard is a certified wildlife preserve and is kept in its natural state. They appear to be in the process of residing one side of the house, but that did not impact the temperature control inside. We had a great time at Judy’s!

Perfect for what we needed!
We had a lovely stay at Judy’s place. It was spacious and the property was nicely tucked away from everyone else so there was plenty ofspace for our dogs and kids to play safely. It was perfect for what we needed! We would certainly go back again.

Love the location, it was private. The house was clean. I think the bed sheets were clean too and towels, but the pillows had a dirty like smell, from prob people sleeping in them with their hair wet. Just bring your own. There's a lot of things in the house that you can use. I left the dog shampoo in the bathroom, i decided to take my dogs hiking and OMG what a mistake!! Also like other people mentioned, the water had a eggy smell, it was awful, i couldn't deal with it, so i used the water from the fountain for everything( brush teeth, do dishes and cook) except shower and dogs. I really don't think this is the owners fault since the sulfur smell is from lack of oxygen. There was a creek next to the house very lovely. My dogs also enjoyed the stay. Thanks so much Judy..
Ps. For the shower read the instructions 🤭😆

The location was perfect! Super close to town and all the wineries! The house was spacious and the rooms were a great size for a girls weekend. The pictures don’t show my favorite part of the house: the largest bedroom has a super cool wicker chair in the corner, almost more oval/love seat sized instead of the normal round chairs. I’ve added one of these to my Christmas list already. I was able to bring my dog with no issues. The backyard was perfect size for him to run around a bit and he loved the little creek and bridge in the yard. We were a bit confused on the property based on the pictures on here to go explore, but unfortunately we got rained out this weekend or else we would’ve reached out to Judy. Definitely out in the country. There were some bugs in the bedrooms, so if you’re a city slicker be prepared. I would say the couch and table could be a bit better. The kitchen chairs were wobbly and we were nervous they were going to break. The couch is definitely used and it sucks you right in. We also ran out of toilet paper after the first person used the bathroom Sunday morning. We had a long drive and wanted to be on the run early so we hit a gas station on the way out. Overall, I’m glad we were able to get together and had many laughs.

The property is spacious and the grounds are beautiful. However, the house is filthy and needs major updating. The rugs were covered in dog hair, the floors were dirty and there were spiders, bugs and spiderwebs everywhere. The stay at the house for my family was very unpleasant. The bathroom smells very moldy and the house has a very unpleasant smell. I had to clean all surfaces with lysol in order to disinfect and I had to wash all of the of the cups, silverware and plates before using, as well as the coffee maker. I was assured that this property is cleaned according to all CDC issued guidelines with regards to the current pandemic. This is not the case. I have two small children and I felt very uncomfortable with the lack of cleanliness at this property. Do yourself a favor and do not book.
