About this house rental
Situated in Gold Beach, this attractive house for $273 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Come visit THE CREEKSIDE HOUSE and experience a calm and restful vacation away from the fast big-city life. Our rental's namesake "The Creekside House" is named after the area that the house is located - Hunter Creek. While we don't have a creek right beside the house, our property is a short walk to one and is less than a five minute drive from State Highway 101, the town center of Gold Beach and, of course, THE BEACH! We wish we could have an ocean view but we have beautiful mountain views instead. Close your eyes and imagine THE CREEKSIDE HOUSE which is located in a serene meadow setting near Hunter Creek. This comfortable three bedroom, three bath home has tiled countertops, hardwood floors, large eat-in kitchen, large yard, nice deck, and vaulted ceilings. THE CREEKSIDE HOUSE can accommodate up to six adults in two master suites and one additional bedroom. One master suite features a king-size bed with a private on-suite bathroom. The second master suite features a queen bed and a private bathroom. The third bedroom features a queen bed. To make sure you have all the creature comforts of home, you will find large flat screen televisions in each room, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, a BBQ, parking spaces for cars and boat trailers and more! Cable and WIFI internet is also included for access to that fast-paced life left behind. Currently, the wood pellet stove is out of order as it is set to be removed. Ductless heating is available in some rooms and small portable that are available to keeping the home comfortable for our guests. Gold Beach is on the Southern Oregon Coast, and is a town where you’ll discover endless, uncrowded beaches, spectacular coastal vistas overlooking rocky headlands, fabulous hiking in the wild Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, tide pooling, crabbing, and clamming, sport fishing on the mighty Rogue River or bottom fishing in the windswept Pacific Ocean, the largest Myrtlewood tree in Oregon, wildlife: elk, deer, bear, osprey, eagles, otters, and more...hiking any way you want it: easy river or beach hikes, or hard core river wilderness and rugged coastal hikes and serenity in the forest, on the river or beach, or on top of a breath-taking mountain. This 3 bedrm and 3 bathroom house matched our needs well. Convenient to Gold Beach, boat harbor and to a couple of golf courses. Kitchen was adequately equipped with pots, pans and dishware. However, nothing in the way of spices, condiments and seasoning other than salt & pepper shaker. If you want to cook more than just breakfast, then you will need to visit nearby grocery market to buy your items. Similar situation for bathroom - adequate supply of towels but must bring own shampoo, soap, etc...

Everything was as advertised. They were plenty of dishes and pans for everything. The washer and dryer worked. Everything was clean and ready to use. This is a very nice place to stay and hopefully I will be able to book you again.

Exactly as described in listing except no easy Creek
access. No A/C or shampoo/soap in showers and had to text if you wanted access to the BBQ. HOWEVER very clean home with quality linens, towels and kitchen appliances and great location!

We traveled with our kids, 3, 4, 7 and15 year old. The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming…the neighbor across the street was so generous in sharing spots to swim and fish and was there to answer any questions we had.
The house was furnished well and with 2 masters it was great having multiple bathrooms. The back yard is large with lots of room for kids to play.
The location is great, close to town and numerous beaches to choose from a long with the creek just down the road for kids to get some water play in close to the house. Kissing rock beach is less than a 5 min drive!
Thank you to the hosts for sharing their home..it made our trip to Gold Beach one for the books!

Being close to Brookings, Gold Beach and Port Orford made this vacation spot perfect for my friend and me. The house was open, airy and spacious. It was also the perfect place to come back to after an incredible trip up the Rogue River on a jet boat. Evenings were so quiet that it made me feel like I was back home in rural Northern California. Bedrooms were comfortable, and the beds were great! We might just have to come back when it's time to celebrate our 80th!

This home provided a convenient and cozy base for our trip to the coast. The kitchen is well stocked for prepping home cooked meals, and we were pleased to have three bathrooms.
The home is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We also enjoyed watching the deer ambling down the street and stopping here and there for a munch.

Family Visit
We found the property true to the description. The house was immaculate and very well maintained. We ate in most of the time and found the kitchen to have all of the needed cookware, dishes etc. , and not a mish-mash of second hand ware that you sometimes find in a rental. The beds were comfy and loved having three bathrooms! Appreciated the beach towels. There are no condiments or coffee provided, or aluminum foil, Saran Wrap, etc. Also no body wash or shampoo in the bathrooms. I didn’t bring any because it has always been provided in previous rentals. Just know to bring your own. This is a great location for exploring this area of the coast. Grat rock hunting on the beach just a short drive from the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good. Only thing was that we did not receive an email with the door code prior to arriving. So we had to call the manager and wait on the porch for 20 minutes for her to call back with the code. Otherwise excellent.

The property was perfect with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped! The location was quiet but close to the beach, restaurants and activities.

My family and I have stayed here once or twice a year for the last few years now and we love it every time. The house is fabulous and close to town which is great. The neighbors are really nice and we love the ducks and dogs across the street. We can’t wait to come back.

Great house. Location was Ok. We hoped it was not in such a heavly populated area. But it was quite and county feeling. The house was named " creekside.." This was deceiving. But we really enjoyed the roomy house. It housed us comfortable and offered us alot of privacy. It was very pleasently decorated.

My husband sister and I wanted a place to stay while we explored the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast. The house was really well laid out, sparkling clean and had all that we needed. It was nice that the 3 Bedroom home had 3 full bathrooms to go along with it. It was very quiet at night and during the day. There are two huge dogs across the street in a fenced yard and they barked a. little when we came home but the owners quickly brought them inside so it wasn't an issue. The only slightly negative callouts are that the creek is not adjacent to the property, so don't expect to have the creek right there. You can walk to it though and its a short walk. The driveway is only big enough for two cars side by side, just something to note if you have more cars than that. The day we arrived it was pouring rain and we were thinking of using the wood stove but it was out of commission as they were remodeling it so that would have been nice to know. Also, don't be alarmed that the baseboard heaters don't work because they have heat exchangers that work great using remote controls. This isnt called out in the welcome book so just a note to the owners to include that. Overall we were very pleased with the house and would definitely stay there again!
