Surrounded by trees, this beautiful solar home backs up to millions of acres of National Forest. Hike, snowshoe, ski or sled out the backdoor, or relax and take in nature's tranquility from one of the two large and comfy sunrooms.
A real getaway, the Evergreen Escape offers peace and solitude in a spacious home with plenty of room to spread out and chill out! In addition to the sunrooms, the great room includes an open living room with a 55" Roku TV, radiant floor heating and a fully equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms on the second floor and a fourth bedroom high in the house's original A-frame. An east-facing balcony off of the master bedroom welcomes sweeping views of the sunrise and a south-facing deck off another bedroom is great for sun-lovers!
The house is a 25-minute drive to downtown Evergreen, where you can enjoy great restaurants and shops. Evergreen Lake is a beautiful place to ice-skate in the winter, boat or sail in the summer, or fish for trout all year long! World-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater is a scenic 45-minute drive and hiking trails abound in the area.
One needs AWD or 4 wheel drive in the winter. The last 1.5 miles to the house is an unpaved mountain road, curvy and steep at times.

Red Rocks/Morrison: 45 minutes

Beautiful location and comfortable cabin that suits large families. The ping pong table was a huge hit and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous!

We loved our stay in the mountains. Five adults and one five year old fit well with plenty of room (and beds) to spare. We hiked the trails nearby and did quite a bit of cooking. The house is very well stocked and there were very clear instructions for everything. Laura and John responded very promptly to all of our questions.

Really enjoyed out stay here, was exactly what we our group was looking for. Beautiful views and very nice accommodations. Would highly recommend if you're ok with being 30 minutes from anything.
