There are over 50 restaurants, two movie theaters, 5 coffee shops, two parks, AA baseball (for the St. Louis Cardinals), and three colleges (MSU, Drury, and OTC) within a short walk. You have a choice; you can stay here with us and enjoy relaxing on or our porch, or take walk to a plethora of dining and entertainment all around us. Great stay in the first floor of a near campus multi-unit. Grateful that we stayed during a holiday week and avoided too much of the college crowd with our family! Great communication and contact from the hosts!

My husband and I are fanatics when it comes to older homes. We love driving around and looking at older homes and paying attention to all the detail that used to go into building homes. And this one, hit the mark. Not only was the home beautiful and clean, it had the nice kitchen and bathrooms that were updated as well as still having the old home charm. The home is close to any thing and everything you need in Springfield and incredibly close to the Missouri State campus if you have a student there. We were in town for one of our sons' wedding. The bedrooms, living space and bathrooms were very spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the amentities you would find in a hotel, with snacks, coffee pods, soaps etc. We would defininitely come back here anytime we come to visit Springfield. This home is a must come again place! Thank you for having us!

Location was great! House was very clean. Dixie was wonderful to work with and was always very prompt with getting back to me with my questions. The snacks on the counter were appreciated by the younger kids also. We will defiantly book this house again when needed!

LOVED, LOVED the location! This beautiful house was right across the street from our favorite Springfield Thai restaurant, and just two blocks from each of our MSU kiddos apartments! Large enough for our family members who had gone out to see my nephew's football game up at SW Baptist University, and so homey to just sit and relax with our Springfield college kids and have a great visit. Loved not having to be at a hotel!! Will most definitely stary here again when we need to have an extended stay for MSU events. Very clean and easy directions for check in and check out. 5 STARS!!!!

Love this property! This house is absolutely gorgeous! We love the location and the size of this home. The one complaint we had was the small trash cans did not have bags in them. So they were dirty in the bottom and made taking out the trash harder. Also was not a fan of not washing the comforters after every stay. That is not sanitary! Overall a very good stay and will stay here again!

Overall, we (4 long-time friends from nursing school in Springfield) enjoyed our stay at this home. Loved the location. Great front porch. The kitchen is well-equipped and we enjoyed cooking our meals there. The living room is spacious with a comfy couch. I wish I had understood earlier that there are 3 (it seems) apartments upstairs. There was a lot of noise coming from there - all throughout one night which made it tough to sleep. The beds are comfy but you are asked to not use the comforters. We were there during a cold snap for a couple of nights and the thin fleece blankets provided (at least in my room) were not quite enough. Overall, would recommend and stay there again.

We loved the historical feel of the house and location. We were given the wrong combo to retrieve the house key but that was handled quickly. The description states 2 queen beds & 2 doubles. There was 1 queen bed and 3 doubles. One person ended up sleeping on the sofa (which was very comfortable). Suggestion: add another full-length mirror. The street noise can be heard in the front 2 bedrooms but the back 2 rooms were quiet. Great front porch to sit on and enjoy ourselves. Coffee & snacks were provided and greatly appreciated.

Been here 3xs, excellent property management, nice, clean, modern inside. Love it! But, Springfield is sketchy, there's lots of vagrants in this part of town, loud ambulances too. SO, no beef with the property, just want families to know where they are staying if you've never been there.

This stay was fantastic. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The house itself has an apartment above it but neighbors were super nice and courteous. It was perfect for what we needed and a great location! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all!

A fun group of MoState moms stayed here for Mom’s weekend. It’s the perfect location. Kids can walk from dorms/frat houses to meet up. Close to campus and downtown. Love the openness of kitchen and living room. Beds are comfy. We hope to stay here often on our visits.

Such a beautiful property! Very clean and well stocked with everything you could need! Close to downtown, restaurants and shops. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best match, as there are apartments upstairs and college fraternities behind this home and lots of street traffic..

This was a very nice 4 bedroom historical home next to the food and shopping of walnut street. The upstairs has been turned into a separate apartment so you do have the noise of neighbors. Overall, it was a great place and we will use it again in the future.

Our family spent the weekend in this lovely home. It was spacious and I loved the architecture. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. The only issues we had were the mattress in the back bedroom was too hard and there were not enough towels.

This VRBO was in the heart of the MSU district with short walks to the baseball field, shopping and restaurants. We loved to sit on the front porch. The rooms were spacious and the layout was perfect for the family. We had to extend our stay at the last minute and the owner made the process seamless! I highly recommend this VRBO
