We are literally MINUTES to the mountain.Winter, spring, summer, or fall, our home is the perfect choice for your vacation!! Three (3) bedrooms include 2 full bedrooms plus a great Loft that sleeps 4, and a favorite with children. We have 2 full baths, modern living room and dining room with new flooring and carpet. Fully stocked kitchen. Wood burning stove on our 1st floor family room. Just 3 miles to Jackson Gore Okemo entrance and 5 minutes to the Clock Tower at Okemo Mountain. CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE - You and your guests will have the comforts of home in our modern, cozy ski chalet. Our five star reviews from guests describe the house as "Best Okemo rental ever!" AFFORDABLE - Our rates are extremely competitive. For this great price you get three floors of living space, two full bathrooms, wood burning stove and a fully stocked kitchen. Upon arrival you drive up a flat well plowed driveway and find the home is warm and bright and ready for you. Enter into an enclosed patio where you can drop your skis and gear and where you will find all the wood for the wood burning stove. The first floor offers a full bath and a cozy family room with a TV and a Roku hook up for streaming Netflix, Amazon and You tube TV. Landline telephone and WiFi calling is available. No cable. Excellent wireless internet. Our wood burning stove, slate tiled walls and artsy decor make for a comfortable room to relax in after a day on the slopes. Main level is fully carpeted with vaulted ceilings, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. You will find a dining area, living room and two full bedrooms with a freshly painted and tiled full bath. Look up to the cozy Loft with two Queen size beds - a favorite with all children. Our home offers NEW furnishings throughout and NEW tile in the kitchen and main bath. Equipped with high speed wireless internet throughout the house. Living room looks out onto the deck with our new gas grill. Propane provided. Living room has leather sofa and loveseat, flat screen TV with Roku hook up for streaming Netflix, Amazon, and You Tube TV. All rooms have Queen size beds with plenty of storage drawers and closet space. PROXIMITY - We are located on Station Road off Route 103 so we are private yet convenient to the main road that takes you right to the mountain. Five minutes to Okemo and less than 30 minutes to Killington. SNOW REMOVAL - our property manager plows after each snow fall and is close by if you need anything or have any questions. CONVENIENCE- the Town of Ludlow is less than 10 minutes from the house where you will find Shaw's Supermarket, Rite Aid, gas stations and many restaurants and shopping. NO NEED TO BRING ANYTHING BUT FOOD - Our kitchen is fully stocked, newly painted and tiled, new lighting and ceiling fan and is equipped with full size fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee machine, french press, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, bake wear and all staples you would find at home. Kitchen and bath towels provided. Linens, blankets and pillows provided for a fee paid at the time of booking. FEES -Laundry and linen fees -$150.00. Housekeeping fee - $175.00. PETS - Pet fee. Pets are always welcome with a flat fee of $150.00 and an additional refundable security deposit of $300.00. SORRY - NO CATS DUE TO ALLERGIES OF OWNER AND FAMILY MEMBERS.SECURITY DEPOSIT - Standard refundable security deposit of $500.00 required for all bookings. PET SECURITY DEPOSIT - when booking please add $300.00 for the pet security deposit. This deposit will be returned after checkout and inspection. SNOWMOBILING - For snowmobilers we are 1,000 yards to the Okemo State Forest VAST trail. Our newly paved driveway makes it easy to Ride in ride out with ample room for trailer parking and your sleds. ARRIVAL - Our property manager will open and warm up the home for your arrival and plow after each snowfall. Late night arrivals will find the house brightly lit, warm and ready for you to start your vacation. Flexible arrival and departure times are permitted by owner when possible. This charming chalet is located in a beautiful private wooded setting. Our home has a full size deck, brand new gas grill, fire pit, wood burning stove and lovely streams. We are near lakes, hiking trails, golf course and 3 miles to Okemo Mountain Adventure Zone with mountain biking, mini golf, alpine slides, zip lines and more. Hiking, mountain biking, Plymouth State Park for boating and swimming, and more! Great summer events minutes away. FREE summer music series at Jackson Gore and Killington. Great restaurants minutes away. We cannot wait to stay here again next year. The house was amazing. Everything was as described and then some. Location is wonderful, only a couple minutes drive down to the mountain. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out . We just can't say enough about the hospitality that the owner and property manager showed towards us. These are the experiences that last a lifetime for us and we couldn't have done it without them.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home in October. The fall foliage was amazing! The home was well appointed in a beautiful setting and so peaceful. We loved the surrounding towns and country drives. The property owners were responsive with excellent communication. This really was a magical trip and we hope to return to the area again. I highly recommend - both the home and this beautiful part of Vermont!

Cozy and Comfortable Home!
We loved staying at this house! The location was perfect: about 4 minutes from Okemo Mountain. Susan's home was cozy and inviting. It had a wonderful "ski chalet" feel to it. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Susan (and the property manager) was very easy. We would highly recommend this home. Looking forward to staying there again!

Peace and Quiet
Great house in a super quiet and private setting within a 10 minute drive to Okemo. We had a fire going most of the time we were home and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. Skiing was great too. Thanks for the easy check in and check out process! We’ll come back again

House was clean and perfect for family of four (with a bed to spare). Short drive to Okemo. Was nice to arrive with lights and heat on for us. Communication with owner was easy. Would stay again.

It was Overall a great experience- hiked the trail at the end of the road- skied at Killington- visited Simon Pearce’s store- and the Manchester outlets. Snow mobiling and Ice skating rentals were all sold out-So make reservations early! House was well kept and kitchen well appointed. Wood stove in lower level made the house toasty all of the time. The House actually has two bedrooms with doors, and the loft with two queen beds. A fun time was had by everyone. Looking forward to our next stay. The Civitello’s.

Cozy Cabin
This was a great last minute booking and a gem of a find and first time using VRBO. We have no complaints about the cabin. It was well stocked with necessities and wood stove downstairs is an added bonus feature. If you have more than 6 there is a charge even though the listing states sleeps 8 ( we missed the fine print on this which is on us; however, the assumption is there when the main page states 8 and one child was 2 so we paid extra. Not a complaint just a surprise and others should be aware due to added expense). The house was clean and wood provided for wood stove. The location was easy to get to, well maintained, and very quiet with a beautiful view including a stream. The beds were comfortable and having WiFi was great! The kids had a snowball fight and explored a little. Front porch was great for changing out of ski gear and use of the dryer was very nice with having wet gear. Thank you for the great stay and we hope to go back! We never met Sue, only brief communication with messages; however, we had the pleasure of meeting Doug, co-owner, who was extremely kind and personable and very concerned with safety and making sure guests are taken care of. I would highly recommend, I would only say be aware of extra fees… ( linen, not allowed to bring your own, VRBO booking fee, extra person charge, cleaning fee and of course taxes plus a lodging fee. Grateful the price was low because these fees truly added an additional $900 to our stay) We had an amazing time and now we know what to look for and be prepared for.

Getaway
My family and I had a wonderful getaway. The home is very well supplied and comfortable.
Our party was 3 adults 3 kids and a dog, so we did find it a little crowded at times. The stairs and paths between furniture are narrow.
The home owners were very responsive when we contacted them.

GREAT GETAWAY FROM THE CITY
We had a nice relaxing week at this rental home. We are a family of 5 with a small dog and we all had plenty of space. The deck is spacious with lots of seating, a grill and of space. The kitchen was well equipped. There were games and puzzles for the few rainy days we had. I highly recommend this house.

Awesome find for us, as it was just the type of place we were hoping to escape to for a long weekend. This place is so close to Ludlow for skiing at okemo that it must be a perfect Winter rental, but we had a blast during the Summer heat. Buttermilk Falls is just down the rode for a hop in the pools and Camp Plymouth State Park has great beach and lake facilities only 15 minutes away. Antiquing in Chester, hiking the healdville trail, and grilling on the porch were some of the activities we enjoyed over the few days on Station Rd. The house is extremely well stocked with almost anything you could ask for and the space was spotlessly clean. Although the home was very comfortable, we found ourselves spending most hours on the large raised deck just listening to the birds and watching the wind blow through the trees. Beautiful location and a cozy home was all we could've wished for so thank you Sue for your hospitality!!

Relaxing and Peaceful
This is my second stay at this home. I have found it so quiet and peaceful, yet close to the village of Ludlow. The owner was great to work with and very responsive. The home was clean and there is anything you may need there. I can't wait to get back.

The Perfect VT Cabin
Our group had the best time! The house was exactly as depicted online - honestly even better. We loved the decor and the cozy yet spacious feel of the cabin. We were a group of 4 total and had plenty of space - we could have easily brought 4 more friends along and would have still been very comfortable. The house was very clean and check in/check out was super easy. The location was also perfect - a very short drive from Okemo and the grocery store/restaurants. We highly recommend staying here and will absolutely book again. Thank you to Susan for being a wonderful host!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was so quaint, with such a ski house vibe, plenty of room for the group and RIGHT near the mountain. The owner was fantastic and the house was stocked with and all the amenities we might need for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation home for our ski trip :)

Relaxing retreat
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy chalet. The location was perfect as it is very close to Okemo and many hiking trails yet is private with a beautiful stream on property. The host was very responsive and the kitchen and home well stocked with essentials and beyond. We hope to go back again!

Wonderful winter escape!
Our small family had a fantastic time in this house, it’s warm and well set up with everything we needed to give our kids loads of time outside in the snow. We didn’t explore the area because of Covid restrictions but it’s close to Ludlow, skiing etc. Thank you Susan for a wonderful stay.

5 Stars Well Deserved!
Took the family to Ludlow for a long weekend, their first trip to lovely VT and we could not have picked a better place! Centrally located to all the activities around town, this clean, very well maintained chalet was perfect for all 5 of us (2 adults, 3 teenage girls). Private, secluded lot with a cozy, welcoming home; and the girls LOVED staying in the loft! The owner Susan was wonderful to deal with and everything was handled totally professionally. We left talking about how soon we could come back. And that's always a good sign, esp. with teenagers...

We enjoyed our time at this lovely home. It was relaxing, clean, well stocked with all you need for a great vacation. The owner followed up immediately to any questions. If you want to be off the grid, enjoy nature, yet be close to some of VT well known towns, this is the place for you.

Very Comfortable Winter Get-A-Way
Great location within minutes of Okemo slopes. Other great locations nearby. My wife, who is not a downhill skier, enjoyed cross country skiing also within minutes of the house. Nice warm house on very cold nights. Great for our family of 6.

Great ski long weekend
We do a yearly family trip to okemo every winter and have rented a number of different homes over the years. This home was great. Very well maintained and the owner has gone out of the way to make sure you have everything you need for the trip. The house location is great as well. Very close to Jackson gore which made for an easy ride in the morning to ski. We will be back again
