The house is just around the corner from the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and just 5 minutes up the hill from the exciting South Lake Tahoe casinos. A Fine dining restaurant ' The Chart House is also closely located half way down the hill before the casinos for that special dining occasion or just plain casual relaxation. This home has it all! A large living room the is open to a gourmet kitchen. This large entertainment area also had a pool table, a large wood burning fireplace, , and an entertainment center complete with digital cable, surround sound, and a DVD player. The house is also equipped with wireless broadband Internet access. You will truly enjoy the over-sized wrap-around decks off the main entertainment area and master bedroom which both have lake views. We booked this beautiful home to celebrate Christmas & my daughter's family coming home from being stationed (Army family) in So Korea for 2 years! First it was immaculate & had everything we needed- well stocked kitchen, safety gates for my 1 yr old grandchild, fireplace & hot tub. The house is laid out in a way where we never felt like we were on top of each other & we all had our own space! And the views... couldn't begin to describe how stunning this area is! We were also very close to the center of town and Heavenly ski resort. Thank you Monte for sharing your beautiful home, we have wonderful Christmas 2023 memories we will cherish for many years to come!

I love the location of this home. It is close to everything but, in a quit nicer neighborhood. The lake views are nice too. The owner does an outstanding job communicating. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. I would encourage anyone who rents this home in the winter to have a 4WD vehicle. The roads are well plowed, but there are a couple of steeper sections (nothing too crazy).

My family loved our stay here! We usually go to Colorado for our annual snowboard trip, so we have seen and experienced lots of other kinds of cabins in the past. This was by far one of the most accommodating and thoughtful hosts we’ve had. Lots of towels, toiletries stocked in each bathroom, wood for fireplace, jacuzzi already warm and ready, easy to follow check in/out instructions posted around the house, REAL Christmas tree with decorations, board games, kitchen essentials, great surround sound speakers, the list goes on. My family of 14 was extremely comfortable here. We will definitely return if we snowboard Heavenly again. This cabin was only 10-15mins from heavenly, such a great location! Thank you so much for offering your home and being great hosts!

We stayed here for convenience to the venue next door, Tahoe Blue. Perfect location for attending my son’s wedding being held there. We had a group of family and friends stay and it all was perfect. The views are spectacular. The owner was very prompt in answering questions.

This property lived up to the listing description and was very comfortable for our multigenerational family vacation. There was ample space for everyone to have their own room and space for us to gather as a family. The kitchen/great room was the gathering hub. A few notes in case they are helpful for others: 1. The kitchen & great room are on the top floor which can make loading in supplies a bit laborious, but on the plus side, you get a good workout. 2. There is an extra fridge in the garage on the ground floor which we found helpful so we didn't have to run all the way to the top floor when we needed something at night (drinks, etc.) 3. The drive into town takes about 10 minutes from the house 4. The house was extremely well appointed; I don't think there was anything we could've needed that wasn't there. We would stay again if we were back in the area.

We had an amazing stay and were blown away by the views. The house itself was a perfect floor plan for our extended family across all floors. It is comfortable well equipped and conveniently located to get around south lake. We hope to be back!

Was as promised -- had a great time; Monte was easy to work with -- a snaffu w/ our car rental company caused some distress with our two youngest but Monte was able to get us into the house a couple of hours early which was a huge help. Give it 5 stars all around.

Our family enjoyed a week at this home at the end of June. The home was gorgeous with fabulous lake and pines/boulder views all the way around. Monte was so easy to work with and answered any questions quickly. He also had a management team at the ready for any help necessary. The home is well stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy a gourmet meal. Our family had everyone from my 78 yo parents to my 15 month old twin granddaughters and all ages in between. Everyone enjoyed the home and our time in Tahoe. I highly recommend this home! I know we will be back!

We arrived around sunset, what an amazing view. Group of friends who haven’t seen each other in awhile, had a very peaceful few days in Tahoe. The house is spacious and beautiful. The views are incredible. A very short drive down into Tahoe and to the lake. We loved the experience

This house has it all. Location is perfect for accessing Boulder or Stagecoach. Gorgeous lake views. Living space is perfect for large groups. The pool table and the hot tub were absolute hits. Monte was very responsive and was able to answer any questions that we had. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed here to go skiing at Heavenly and it was the perfect house for our group. Plenty of space for everyone, amazing kitchen to cook in, and gorgeous view of the lake. It's close to the Nevada side lifts for skiing and you can even walk to the local restaurant Fox & Hound. Communication with the host was easy and he continued to check in as a snow storm hit while we were there. Would definitely recommend this property!

The property was beautiful and the property manger responded to every request or problem along the way. We came in immediately following a storm and he made sure to get the property dug out of the snow to ensure use of the deck and hot tub. The house had everything we needed for our 14 person stay with 8 of the guest ranging from 1-12.

The location is so peaceful. All the best amenities are included to enjoy the property. We loved the boat, Nintendo, hammocks etc. Hosts are very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They made sure we felt welcomed and were available if needed.

This home is beautiful! From the moment you arrive you will be captured with the stunning views, peacefulness and beauty. Every room is spacious and well laid out, the master bedroom has a beautiful fireplace and large soaking tub, and a private deck where you can grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the lake view.. this room has beautiful touches and the suite on the ground level is it’s own private hideaway. Linens are quality, kitchen is well equipped and the hot tub is large, relaxing and private. A must stay! Thank you Monte, your home is absolutely beautiful, we loved our stay!

We were a group of 13 celebrating a 30th birthday. It was mostly everyone’s first time in the snow, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The home was clean and exactly as listed. Monte was great and a fast communicator. I highly recommend this space. The floor plan is perfect for large groups, and the casinos are about 10 minutes away. Great location! The boulder lodge is walking distance from the house as well if you’re a newbie skier or snowboarder! Overall, everything was great!

We had an amazing time with family for Christmas 2022. The house was beautiful and the view of Lake Tahoe was absolutely stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were big and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and nice. The stairs in the house provided us all with plenty of exercise and the location was close to everything we needed to enjoy the holidays. Overall an amazing experience!

The property was just perfect for our growing family of children and grandchildren allowing each of our kids to just about have a floor to themselves with their kids in the rooms directly next to them plus a private bathroom!!! The kitchen is extremely well equipped - best we have found in any of our prior rentals. This property is beautiful and the setting is breath taking! You will NOT be disappointed!!!

Beautiful house with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and mountain side. We lit the fireplace every night of our stay and made s'mores. Fun family getaway. Kids loved the proximity to Heavenly for snowboarding. There are alot of stairs in the house and you'll get your daily workout. Mahalo to Maria and Monte for your gracious hospitality.

After 15 years of renting homes in LT, this has become our favorite place to stay!! Nine 50+ women, and not one complaint! Now that’s impressive!!!!

Beautiful home with a great view. Our family of 12 stayed here and we had more than enough room to spread out. The pool table in the main living area was great entertainment. We enjoyed the hot tub with a beautiful view of the stars at night. Easy check in and communication. Highly recommend.

Family trip with our adult kids. Lots of room and privacy for all. We cooked most meals in, so really appreciated the well stocked kitchen and Wolf stovetop! The house was amazing with beautiful views from all areas of house. Hot tub was perfect after long days of hiking. We will definitely choose this house when we return!

This was a very nice relaxing getaway. The house could use some appliance upgrades. The coffee makers didn’t work so well and other things seemed over worked. Totally understandable when many people are using the house. The trash cans However in the bear cans were full so we didn’t have much room to place our trash. There are many stairs in the house so you get your workout in.

The house was ideal for accommodating the variety of sleeping arrangements/preferences we needed for a mixed family (couples, singles, siblings/cousins). The top level was a perfect large group gathering location with plenty of space for everyone to spread out, converse, eat/drink, play (pool table) in the communal great room and/or enjoy the outdoors and fantastic views from the large deck. (Sunset/twilight was spectacular.) The jacuzzi was a hit as well. I would highly recommended the place for a large group desiring to maximize time together, although it's very easy to retreat to one of the quiet private bedrooms if you prefer. You can't walk to the lake, but several beaches are accessible with a 5-10 minute drive down the hill, as is the bustle of Stateline and South Lake Tahoe. The top summer attractions of Emerald Bay and Sand Harbor are each within 30 minutes.
