Had a great time - loved the peace and quiet, hiking trails, and the sunsets over the lake - only negative was that the frig was too small and on the floor so it was hard for a 70 year old to access it.. Will definitely consider going back in future.. Host was GREAT!!

I was looking for a comfortable cabin at the lake and this was perfect. It is comfortable and quiet. You cant beat the views of Lake Eufala. Deb was great in answering all my questions. The instructions to get there were exact. I couldnt have asked for more. I will definitely rent from this host again!

This is a beautiful little studio cabin on stilts that is perfect for a couple. Well furnished, updated and well maintained! Beautiful lake view and sunset views out the windows and from the rear deck. There’s are several other cabins nearby but there are plentiful trees in between that provide privacy so you feel like you’re the only cabin in the area. Check in/out was painless and efficient. Communication with the owner/manager was fast and pleasant. We loved everything about our stay here and will be coming back again!

Reservation to departure, it was a perfect experience. Rarely are properties exactly as listed. I was there for the seclusion and view and I was not disappointed. The only sounds around me were the sounds of falling leaves. Stay was exactly as advertised and perfect for my needs. I couldn’t have been more pleased.

OFF the beaten path!

The only downside to this property is where it is located. After you turn off the main road, it is about 2 miles down a very rough gravel road. The surroundings getting to the cabins is quiet ‘sketchy’. Once inside the gates all was fine. I would have liked to have known about the road prior or we would not have driven my wife’s new car!! Get ready for Dusty and dirty. LOL

Overall our stay was okay. We understand we were in a wooded area, but when we arrived we looked up and there were many bugs and spiders in the corners of the ceiling/walls. Also when we arrived there was a horrible cigarette / musty smell to the cabin. We had to leave to get air freshener to try to mask the smell because we didn’t want to let any more bugs into the cabin than what was already there by opening the doors to get fresh air. The bottom of the plastic shower curtain had some mildew/mold on the bottom. We couldn’t keep the fan on because it rattles very loudly. We ended up not even using the kitchen utensils because there was still food residue left on them from the person before us and the refrigerator had a hard time keeping what we could store in there cold and was extremely small. The grill was also rusted from the elements and we had to go out to get an alternative way to cook the food we had brought with us in hopes to use the grill.

Nice clean cabin with a good view of the lake. No view of the sunset but that may have been do to time of the year. We are an older couple so the small fridge under the cabinet was a little inconvenient but an overall good experience. Good value for the $.
