About this house rental
Beautiful South Lake Tahoe home location in the Montgomery Estates area come with with hot tub, pool table and many other amenities! Enjoy this gorgeous 2,900 plus square-foot home. There are four spacious bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a loft game room that has a pool table, dart, bean bags, futon, kids’ toys, etc. Amenities include a large, private outdoor hot tub on the upper deck also where the BBQ is located. Another large deck that connects two of the downstairs bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, full bathroom with a separate shower and a deep soaking tub with jets. Two other bedrooms with 1 queen bed in each room, and the 4th bedroom has a queen bed and a double (great for a family) and we also have a futon in the family room that can sleep 2. Fully stocked kitchen with all top of the line appliances and cooking utensils and all cooking and baking supplies. There is a large formal dining area with seating for 8. Spiral staircase leads to the loft area that has the pool table, darts and toys. The spacious master suite has a king bed, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, large vanity and walk in closet. Wireless Internet and 3 Tv’s in the home are all ROKU streaming TV’s. National Forest right across the street offers great hiking and mountain biking trails to Power Line Trail. Three minutes to Heavenly, 5 minute drive to Lake Tahoe and 6 minutes to casinos. (Note we have a two night minimum!) Can't forget the endless windows in the living room that bring the outside in and offer great lighting in the home. NOTE this home does NOT have AC! I can tell you it is the place to be if you are looking for a clean comfortable feels like home stay. We enjoyed our time here and everything is well stocked. Beds are comfortable and hot tub was great. We cooked gumbo and left our seasonings for the next guests with all the others that are there.

I have stayed in several higher end cabins in Lake Tahoe, this was one of the best. Very clean, comfortable cabin with every amenity thought of. A very well appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Dagmar the host was extremely welcoming and responsive. The location is off of a busy street but there is a trail to the national park within a few hundred yards of the front door. The cabin is within minutes of restaurants, Heavenly Village and Stateline. Look forward to staying here again.

My friends and I stayed one night after going off-roading. The cabin was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly, including four parking spaces, a hot tub, and a pool table. The location was ideal. We had a great time!

Checkin could be easier with electronic keypad rather than mailing a key. Cottage was nice. It was hot in Tahoe while we were there and no A/C so sleeping was a bit difficult. A bit tight in the downstairs bedrooms with 6 people. Fair amount of road noise as it’s right next to a major road.
Didn’t realize 3 bedrooms were all next to one another. We enjoyed ourselves though and liked the porch/deck for sitting in the mornings and evenings.

We had a great stay at this property. Well appointed and as advertised. Super fun, homemade sledding hill right next to the house was a special treat! Dagmar is a fantastic communicator, checking in regularly while not being the least bit intrusive. Super easy check in/out process. I do agree with previous renters that the bedding needs an upgrade but it would not prevent us from renting again in the future. Thanks Dagmar!

We had a blast in this home. it was the perfect place for our group, or any group looking for comfortable mattresses, a well stocked kitchen, tons of games, and beautiful scenery. We even had our own private sledding hill that was carved out for the guests. Dagmar was incredibly communicative before and during our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

The property was as described in the listing. It was a great location off of Pioneer Trail...to grocery store, easy access to highway 50, casinos and skiing. It was great to have a hot tub, pool table and games. The kitchen was one of the best stocked vacation rental kitchens I've stayed in. It had lots of cookware and dishes and even some unexpected things like a coffee bean grinder, garlic press, etc. Communication with the owner was fantastic. She texted me the day before our arrival to advise me of a storm coming in around our check in time, and said that we could check in early to avoid traffic coming in. We will definitely keep this property on our list for Tahoe!! Thanks for a great stay!

The property has lots of potential, but the visit has lots of small annoyances. The property itself is large and a really nice common area. It does not have AC which was a problem both on 90-degree days and in bedrooms very close to a busy road. The bedding is really old and should be replaced. There are also cobwebs in the corners. One tv was probably bought in the 1990s.
We werent convinced the owner is committed to being a host of guests. The property is peppered with messages of dos and donts. There had to be 5 no smoking signs in every area. The owner has a release in his contract letting you know that you might being filmed on a security camera and details out a list of fines for various things- adjusting the temp on the hot tub, touching the thermostat, extra bags of trash and more. One annoyance was the instruction to leave and put away dishes in the morning with a 10am check out.
It all created an unnecessary stress on a group of clean and good intentioned adults.
The house could be fantastic for a few thousand with new tvs, purging the granny furniture, a couple of window AC units in the summer, and new bedding.

This house had everything we needed for a very brief stay but there were many things that were very very old and need updating. All bedding, tvs, games, decor needs to be replaced. The hot tub did not bubble well and temperature was too cold. We were thankful they had all the basic necessities! The main room was very inviting and our kids enjoyed the stay!

Great house for multiple families
We had three families with 1st grade classmates and siblings. The kids loved 'bunking' together in the BR with two large beds while the adults all got the privacy of their own BR.
The loft area was a fun playspace for both adults and kids, and the hot tub was welcome relaxation for all (especially after a day in the snow).
The listing doesn't state it, but there are sleds, tubes, and snow toys already at the house as well as some lawn chairs for summertime. I'd recommend the house and would visit again.

The cabin looks better than the pictures! Great space, and has everything you need. It’s required to sign a separate lease, but don’t let that intimidate you. Everything was perfect. My one suggestion would be to get a key code lock, the mailing of the key is out dated.

Relaxing retreat in the heart of it All!
Dagmar was a fantastic host. Responsive and helpful from the moment we expressed interest in potentially renting the property until the very last moment we checked our. The house was beautiful, and within 10-15 minutes of all the action of South Lake Tahoe, from the casinos, to Tahoe keys, to the western beaches. Deck off main level was perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh air after a busy day exploring. Thanks Dagmar!! Wonderful trip!

Great Tahoe home for summer or winter
We sincerely enjoyed our stay at Dagmar’s home. The location is very central to the South Lake region and makes getting around very easy. We will certainly keep Dagmar’s home in mind for future visits to Tahoe.

The best part of our vacation rental was dealing with
Dagmar. She was very accommodating and flexible regarding check in and check out times and procedures.
Her home was perfect for our needs, spacious common areas to gather multi generational families together, easy access to the ski areas, and plenty of outside space for snow play.
Everyone had a wonderful time and is looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Spacious and Great Location
We had a great time staying at this house. There is enough space for all 10 of us and the location is close to downtown and Heavenly Ski Resort. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and billiard table!!! We will definitely go back.

Labor Day weekend getaway
The rental is very well equipped and spacious. The host, Dagmar, is very easy to get ahold. Rental agreements were a bit of a hassle and tedious because those over 18+ must sign which our family had 8 adults staying to circulate around to. Moreover, it was a hassle with the key having send it out. We only spent 2 nights, but the house seemed very equipped. It would be useful to have the check out procedure in the binder or the night. Overall, stay was alright.

Awesome summer trip
Clean, just as described. Very easy to access casinos and Stateline. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets for all. Good BBQ grill with gas and patio chairs to enjoy the scenery. Thank you Dagmar!
