This property was perfect for our family of 6. It was in a perfect location on
Ka”anapali beach. The property had amazing views of the sunrise, sunset, the ocean and the mountains. The property came with everything we needed to cook and for a day on the beach.

We loved both the green mountain view and the ocean view off the wrap around lanai. Unit had updated furnishings and functional full kitchen. We enjoyed the pickle ball courts and being right on the beach. Beautiful grounds and great unit.

The condo is even better than the listing says. You are right at the resort in a prime location, in the middle of the beach. This area had a nice breeze. The condo is BIG and clean. Has chairs, umbrella, boogie board too!
We arrived late and check in is 24/7. There is a security guard to let you in to parking lot- he had our name and check in was seamless. After a LONG travel day, this was amazing!

Our beautiful condo included a view of the beach as well as a view of the mountains. It was perfect for two couples or a family! We could have used a few more towels and washcloths so we didn’t have to wash every day, but otherwise, it was perfect!

The Whaler at Kaanapali is a beautiful, well maintained, centrally located condominium complex.
Our unit was exactly as advertised in the photos. Very clean, well stocked, and friendly, helpful staff.
I highly recommend The Whaler, and we will definitely be back.

The space is very comfortable and well thought out. The balcony looping around the entirety of the unit was our favorite. Even with some rain we were able to sit outside and enjoy both the view of the mountains and the beach. it felt very safe. You had everything you might need even if you didn't feel like getting in the car, with Whaler's Village a short walking distance around the corner. The Xplorie partnership is incredible. We really enjoyed booking our excursions through them!

The location and view are perfect! The condo is spacious and equipped with all you need. The lanai is great and provides views of the mountains and the ocean. All that stayed would love to stay again! Thank you

Very clean. View is spectacular. Pool is great for adults but not really for children. I would rent this property again. If you plan to cook meals you’ll need to buy spices, oil etc. only stocked with salt/pepper packets.

Location and good for big families!!
The condo is in a great location right next to Whalers village (shopping and plenty of food selections) which is great since I travel with teenagers that are always looking for something to do. It was very nice to have all the necessities at our disposal ( kitchen, towels, everything you need for a long stay). They provide washer and dryer which was great! Some cons: the restrooms don’t have a lock so you have to announce that you are going to the restroom! The toilet handle feels like it’s going to fall off any day if not replaced. The queen beds in the 2nd bedroom are not comfortable. The curtains are dirty and falling apart in the living room so be careful when closing them. Lastly, the dining table outside is a bit of a hazard so be careful when stepping down because the chairs wobble! Overall, the pros outweigh the cons because of the location of the condo!

This was an amazing location and the pictures don’t do the property justice. We had everything we needed including 2 sets of snorkels! We can’t wait to come back to this property!!

We were very pleased with this unit. Views from the 5th floor lanais gorgeous. Nicely furnished, upscale kitchen, laundry and plenty of storage space are a few of the things we appreciated. The property is well maintained. For our short stay, being next to Whalers Village was a huge factor in choosing to stay here, we just we had been able to stay longer. The staff was beyond amazing and patient helping us with all of the technology involved with COVID-19 protocols that we has to deal with as we were traveling to another island.

Upon check out, we were charged another $115 for resort fee, something that was not disclosed to us when we made the reservation and when we checked in, only at the last minutes they did that. So to recap, No Internet, No TV, No Cooktop so useless kitchen, dirty couch, extra fee.

5 star stay
This 2 bedroom two bath condo on the 5th floor was a perfect get away. A great view of the ocean and the beautiful mountain. Could not have been better. The place had every thing that you could need.

Girls trip with 6 of us
Beautiful unit with plenty of room. Did a girls trip with 6 of us and never felt crowded at all. The wraparound deck is huge and the views from the massive deck are impressive! You get the sunrise and the sunset every day! Absolutely beautiful!!

The condo was very nice and spacious. The views were great. The location was very close to restaurants and groceries. My family couldn’t have had a better stay.

Great Location and View
Overall, we had a great stay at this resort. The condo was very spacious with a great view of the beach and mountains. Location was within walking distance to most restaurants in the Whaler Village and other hotels. Even the Kaanapali Golf Resort is across the street, One of the best excursions is the Trilogy sunset cruise, which picks you up on the beach next door. Only complaint is the size of the pool is small for the resort size, no Tiki bar (although walking distance at the Whaler Village) and for occasional smokers there is no smoking on the property and the beach.

Ocean and Garden View
The unit was nice but a couple of issues. The double beds were very very uncomfortable. The mattresses need to be changed. The washer smelled and the dryer doesn't dry the clothes.

Wonderful vacation
We were celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary. We loved the unit. We've stayed at the Whaler many times, and loved the back unit. Very quiet, but still had a beautiful view.
The only issue was garbage disposal was leaking and it looked like someone just put down a towel to dry, and when we realized the issue and took everything out from under sink, it was a mess. I notified the front desk of the issue. Overall an amazing stay. Thank you so much for the beautiful accommocations.

Fabulous Place
Property is very clean, and very well maintained, from the time you pull into the Guard Gate to the Lobby, rooms, etc, just a great experience. Lobby staff and valet staff are very friendly and willing to help out anytime.
Very nice corner Unit, when standing on the balcony, you have Mountains to the Left, Ocean to the right, and the Koi pond down below.
The Pool is great, the BBQ grills is a great place for conversation with others and see where they are all from, etc.... Everyone is nice.
Very close to the Hula Bar, ABC Store, and the Mall and Restaurants. Can go on a Catamaran to snorkel as they pick you up right there on the beach, just next to the property.

Wonderful location and spacious apartment
This condo is great. The location next to Whalers Villages is perfect And the condo is spacious and bright with a huge balcony. During our stay we saw tons of humpbacks and I highly recommend Trilogy snorkeling excursions. The weather was cooler and windier than we would have liked but it was still gorgeous. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is that the WiFi is weak and doesn’t extend to the master bath very well and they really need a new couch. The current couch is collapsing and spitting out a lot of feathers.

Perfect location, all the amenities!
First let’s agree that Maui’s weather is paradise regardless of locale. Now let’s add locale and say, if you want perfect views of the ocean and valley along with a perfect beach, perfect pool, access to the best shopping and restaurants in Kaanapali/Lahaina this is the place! Having alll of that plus room for 6 a double sized condo, with laundry, full kitchen, dishwasher and included extras like beach gear, etc is great. Our family of 4 with two teens found it perfect. Morning coffee and breakfast for us before 5 mile runs along the beach walk, in either direction, while the teens slept in uninterrupted = perfect for all! Shopping, parking, snorkeling, tennis, beach, pool and hot tub all within a quick walk. Great guest experience, recommended to all, but I hope you don’t so the place is available for us next time! 2nd time to the island and wouldn’t change a thing! Ohana cousins and aloha!

Location is fabulous: excellent restaurants within 15 minutes Condo is lovely. Really nice staff.
Banana/macadamia nut pancakes for breakfast at nearby Gazebo; week-long bike rental from West Maui Cycles (great road bikes and hybrids; great choice of excursions (catamaran snorkeling); close proximity to Lahaina (we road our bikes) for shopping and historic sites; hiking to Twin Falls—after great activities each day, we came “home” to beautiful beachfront just steps from our condo and majestic mountains in the opposite direction. Our Maui house provided a great place to relax and re-create for the next busy day with beds that did not allow us to miss our own and amenities (as in everything you could possibly need) that were thoughtful and greatly enjoyed. We love to get to come to The Whaler Resort and hope to be able to come again soon! Thank you for having us!
