1st of all hard for me to compare because this is the only place I have stayed in Paris. It was Ok and I would stay again with my party size after I checked all other options. They advertise A/C which are 2 portable units that have hoses that need to be put out windows. The windows are on ground level to a rear gated parking lot. So if you use A/C at night or anytime your room is not secure. When we checked in the instructions said use the key from lobby to inner hall. Its a Key fob and not clear where to place it for door to unlock. No central fire alarm system or sprinkler system in a multi story building. There was a smoke detector in the unit. We were on the ground floor/ partial basement. we could escape easy in an emergency as long as we knew there was one. Easy quick walk to things. Ok place just wanted to share my experience.

We really loved the location of this apartment. It is just below street level, so no views, but it is exactly as it looks in the photos. The shower was great and it was very comfortable for our family of 5. The only downside was the lack of communication from the host. I messaged 3 times in a month to inquire about the check in process and never received a response. It wasn’t until the day of checkin that I was given any info. That caused a bit of stress based off a previous review, but it worked out in the end. Regardless, it is a great find in a lovely area.

Five days before arriving, we were given more details about the property's address, but not the apartment number, or its location in the building. We were given codes to the "first two doors" and a code to the key safe inside a mailbox, but, as it transpired later, we were given all the wrong codes. So I used Vrbo's messaging service to message the owners and ask for the apartment number. No response. Two days later, I asked again. No response. On the day we were due to arrive I sent a third request and tried calling (but reached voicemail, inevitably). I gave up and called Vrbo's customer service to ask for help. They also tried without success to contact the owners but left messages for them and promised me I'd hear from them soon. Sure enough, whilst sitting, stressing in the Eurostar terminal in London, we received a message from the owners addressed to somebody called Elizabeth (which is none of our names) giving us more details - and a completely different set of access codes to those listed in the official Vrbo website. But still no apartment number. I asked again and sought confirmation of which codes were correct. No response. To the owners: I appreciate you're probably busy, but not replying to any of my three messages over five days is not acceptable. I shouldn't have to call customer services to get you to tell me where your apartment is (and as it turns out, to give me the correct access codes). Good luck Elizabeth, whoever you are.

This is a smart apartment in a great part of Paris - plenty of places to eat out or buy groceries and within walking distance of lots of attractions. There were 5 adults and 1 child and plenty of room for all of us.

Property was great. Better than advertised. Great location within a few minutes walk to multiple metro lines and an amazing weekend market. Host was welcoming and easy to work with.

Enjoyed staying here for 2 nights with husband and adult children. The bathroom and shower were fantastic. The bed was comfortable although others thought it was firm. Bakery and nearby restaurants were great.

Loved the location and the east check in process.

This rental was good but we were glad we had been to Paris a few times before. The instructions sent were clear and we got in easily. Communications to that point said that someone would meet us. No one did. The communications come from one of 3 people but it’s not clear who you are talking to. There is no instructions for the clothes washer. No hair dryer. There is an AC unit in the unit- in the main room. However the unit does not vent to the outside so it blows as much hot air into the unit as cold air. We were there during a heatwave and it was not able to cool adequately, especially in the bedrooms. In most of the year, won’t be an issue but beware in the summer if you are expecting AC. The unit is quiet, clean (the floors are in very used condition) and the beds are comfy. The bathroom is huge (but needs more counter space or hooks-there is no where to put toiletries). The shower had the best water pressure I’ve had in Europe! The neighborhood is great with easy access to the metro. Overall good rental but could be improved and the manager could take a more proactive role as a host.

nice location, but property dated and needs work. 2 fans not working for secondary bedrooms and main ac unit in living area had exhaust that barely reached window and would fall out regularly. safe locked when arrived and window with access to outside driveway and pedestrian traffic would not lock. requested assistance and was told someone would address then next day and no one ever came so had to travel around with passports and cash the entire trip. beds had old comforters and no bed sheets. master sheets had small blood stains on them. requested some new and clean sheets and didnt occur. ran out of paper towels and toilet paper after 3 days.

Easy to fine and secure. Location near food, pharmacy and stores where great. Thought it was closer to tour bus stops

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. This was a last minute change which was a little unnerving and was farther away from the Luxembourg Garden than our original rental but it turned out to be quite fine and spacious.

Wonderful location, easy to get to Metro or walk from to get around city. One of the best bakeries around the corner LA PARISIENNE Madame. The apartment was clean, with plenty of pillows, towels and toiletries. The bathroom was large & beautiful. I appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine so much with kids! There was plenty of room, we all slept wonderful on the comfortable beds with the curtains. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Paris with our family (7 people total). The apartment is nicely updated and furnished, and in a great location near several metro stops. Highly recommended.

we stayed here over Bastille day and had such a great time! the location is great and easy to get around to other parts of town - lots of food/parks nearby. overall, loved it!

This is apartment is in a great location. Near the metro, cafes, shopping and the Luxembourg Park. We would definitely stay here again! Three bedrooms with one large bathroom. The den was a perfect size for our family.

Place is clean and nice. It is a basement apartment so it was a bit noisy at times. But its in the city and cities are noisy in general. Easy public train access and plenty of resturants and store is close.

We've rented 10 different apartments in Paris and this one is the best! What a great location!! ATM; 3 boulangeries; 2 grocery stores; 5 restaurants; 1 bus stop; 2 metro stops (Rennes & St. Placide); Asian Takeaway restaurant - they are all within a 2 block radius! The Jardin du Luxembourg is only 4 blocks away! What is most impressive about the apartment are the following: 1. very secure building with fob entry 2. elevator and ground level apartment 3. very roomy with large kitchen - lost of dishes 4. generous amount of towels 5. great bed (we only used the Master bedroom) 6. So very quiet - absolutely no street noise!! However, the owners might need to rehang the curtains and also - the portable air conditioner (though we did not need it) - they need to find an adapter for the exhaust hose for the window! The apartment was well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable and spacious for our group of four. It is in a great location, and we were able to walk to many sites or access public transportation with ease. Our group particularly enjoyed how secure the building was! We would definitely come back for another stay!

We had 4 adults and 3 children in our group and, while the apartment was small, it met our needs. The location was great. Close to the metro, shopping, bakeries, and several small grocery markets. The owners were easy to deal with and accommodating. Luxembourg gardens was 4 blocks away and we walked there several times. If you don’t mind a mile or so hike, you could easily walk to the Lourve, Notre Dame, and the catacombs. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower. We felt safe and loved living like the locals. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to be in the heart of it all.
