Situated in Wailua, this attractive condo for $383 per night is a great option for your next break. Wailua Bay View Unit 312 is a premium ocean front condo with stunning views from the lanai. WBV 312 has been completely remodeled with luxurious amenities. This is a top floor unit with incredible views of the ocean and Wailua Beach. The lanai has a bar-height rail table with 3 bar chairs. There is also a padded outdoor recliner; the perfect place to relax with a book. The kitchen is well supplied including a full spice rack and miscellaneous condiments so you can easily make a meal. Many other sundries are included as well such as plastic zip lock bags and aluminum foil. Free WiFi is included and the Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom are connected to the WiFi service so guests can access Netflix and other subscription services. Digital Cable DVR on both TVs let you record your favorite programs or sports events to watch after you return to the condo in the evening. The digital subscription includes an add-on sports package with Big 10, Pac 10 and SEC games as well as all of the most popular sports channels. A portable air conditioner is provided to cool the living room. It has a Heat function to warm the condo if there is a cold spell. A wall air conditioner is provided to cool the bedroom. With new thermal windows in the bedroom, the wall air conditioner cools the bedroom completely. The soundproof windows ensure you always have a restful sleep. When the AC is turned on, the fan can be set to runs continuously rather than cycling on and off so light sleepers aren't disturbed. The bedroom and living room also have ceiling fans. The condo includes a convenient full size front loading washer and dryer. For your beach trips the unit includes two backpacks, two beach chairs, a beach umbrella, two beach mats, noodles, fins and snorkel gear. Wailua Bay View is an oceanfront 45 unit boutique condominium resort on the East shore of Kauai. The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook selected it as one of their “Solid Gold Values”. Every Wailua Bay View condo has a private oceanfront lanai with a spectacular view of the ocean. The ceramic tiled pool and surrounding flagstone patio is a great place to hang out and soak up the sun. The gas grills in the pool area are great for grilling fresh fish, steaks or whatever looks good at the store. Wailua Beach is a short walk from the complex. Wailua Bay View is on the 12 mile long Kauai Path bike trail. Bikes can be rented in Kapa'a. Restaurants, bakeries, shops, beach bars and a nightclub with live music are within walking distance of Wailua Bay View. Grocery stores, a pharmacy and a health food store are one mile north. Wailua Golf Course is 2.5 miles south of Wailua Bay View. It was voted one of the top 15 golf courses in Hawaii by Golf Digest. The East Shore is a great place to stay. We loved our 10 day stay in November. Steve and Tina did a wonderful job equipping this unit to make it feel like home. It was exactly as advertised and 100% met our expectations. We used the guide book they put together often. Loved the view and watching the surfers. The location was perfect.

The condo home was clean, comfortable, and organized. The kitchen and bathroom were complete with everything we needed for our trip. The complex itself was nice and quiet. Best of all, the ocean view was amazing! The sunrises were gorgeous and made our stay extra special. Also loved that it was walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace. We went to their farmers’ market on a Thursday and were able to mingle with the locals and buy fresh fruits! Thank you for such a great stay.

This was our 3rd time renting this specific unit at WBV Condos. Steve and Tina have literally thought of EVERYTHING to make their place 100% equipped for the perfect stay.
Every single thing I went looking for: specific items in the kitchen, coolers to take to the beach/on road trips, an umbrella for an unexpected rain shower that would have soaked us on our way to dinner, beach towels, travel cups for drinks, boogie boards, the printer for printing boarding passes (I know, I'm old!) and a couple things for work... even a great book to read for my partner... it's ALL there.
I can't say enough great things about this place, and the way it's been set up to GUARANTEE that guests want for nothing. There is not a single thing I needed that I didn't find.
To save some $$ I did more cooking on this 3rd trip, and honestly, I was astonished at how well appointed the kitchen was with fresh gourmet spices, oils, etc. I was able to make 3 incredible meals and not have to buy all those expensive items that I could never use up in an 8 day stay. I really appreciated that.
This is a great place for couples. Quiet, comfortable and that view!! You feel like you are alone there, hardly ever seeing people in front of your unit. The beach is lightly used by local fisherman, and water sports enthusiasts. It's paradise!
This trip I was so excited to watch sea turtles swimming in the ocean right below our lanai! That was probably THE highlight for me.

The condo was well-equipped for a Hawaii vacation! Beach towels, toys, and plenty of necessities. Although hot at times, the AC caught up after a couple hours of turning on. The only hiccup is the bed and the dresser. Very close together and we both hit our ankles and feet when walking in front of the bed. We still very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo for a couple! Mahalo!!

This property was absolutely remarkable. It was exactly as described in the descriptions and exactly what we needed for our vacation. The view and the sound of the crashing waves from the deck cannot be beat. We saw a school of dolphins and a few sea turtles right from the deck. Bring binoculars if you want a close up look.
The basic kitchen extras are all provided like sandwich bags, saran wrap, etc. (which you don't find in other places). Didn't use the range or other small appliances, but the fridge is nice and big. Having the air conditioners was a massive life saver inside the condo. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I'm always nervous about what kind of sleep I'll get with the unknown. The nice big TV's (2) were great for late night shows or the news. But specifically for the channel that tells you all about the island and things you can do/see. Plenty of towels for showers, etc. Plus the W/D are an added bonus if you do run out.
The laminated notes and labels were very helpful with instructions on things or where to find stuff.
The onsite pool was very well kept and super convenient (noodles provided at condo). We took advantage of the provided snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrella and went over to Lydgate Beach.
Across the street from the condo is Passion Bakery Cafe which has outstanding Malasadas. There is an ABC store down the road to grab anything.

Beautiful property in a central location on Kauai. Very comfortable with everything you could want. Great view, comfortable furniture, fully outfitted kitchen, and some beach toys as well. We saw both whales and dolphins from the balcony. The location provides easy access to all parts of the island. Only 30 minutes to rhe south end and less than an hour to the north shore beaches. Plenty of local restaurants, food trucks, and groceries. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days in April 2023. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and needed nothing. Vey well equipped and centrally located condo.
We absolutely loved this place. Everyone was super friendly which added to our stay.
Communication with the host was fantastic. Very accommodating as they allowed us to stay one more night when our airline changed our returning flight.
If I could make one recommendation, it would be to replace the towels. They were very musty smelling. We went to Costco and bought are own.
Overall, a fantastic place in paradise. Thanks very much Steve and Tina.

We just finished our stay in this lovely condo . I can honestly say - I have never stayed in a more well outfitted and organized home. They have everything you can think - super comfortable to stay there .
Every detail you can think of and everything is easy to find. The condo was bright and beautifully decorated - the view is unbelievable. Central location worked for us to go back and forth up and down the island . I would highly recommend this rental . We will stay here again .

This was a great place to stay! The view of the bay from the lanai was spectacular. We saw whales, surfers, kite surfers and paddle boarders from the comfort of the lanai. This place has got to be the best appointed place I’ve ever stayed at. They had literally everything you would need for a comfortable stay!

The grounds of the property are extremely well maintained. Walking distance to shopping and food. The condo is perfect and has everything you would need for cooking, spending the day at the beach, hiking or just enjoying the spectacular view from the lanai. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Without the lanai i don’t know if we would have enjoyed it as much . I love how they have everything we need but need to continue to update and possibly put ac in front room … the towels need to be replaced and not have a certain smell to them . The homeless tents you see from the lanai are a little scary initially . All the grounds are well kept and it was quiet and peaceful . Thr lamp shades and curtains were moldy , maybe go with darker colors .

The condo was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, stocked with everything needed and comes with killer views. There is a manager on site and the owners are very responsive. The location is walkable to beaches and restaurants and a short drive from Safeway and Longs Pharmacy. It has all the ingredients for the perfect vacation!

We loved this property! Steve and Tina have stocked everything you could possibly need, and stuff you didn’t even know you needed. The condo was very clean, with an amazing view from the Lana’i! AC in the bedroom kept it cool for sleeping, the ocean breeze kept the living areas comfortable as well. We love that location, it is easy to get to all areas of the island. We really hope this place is available for our next visit.

My wife and I stayed in WBV Unit 312 for 4 nights. This is a fantastic property and exceeded our expectations. Super clean and well organized. Everything we needed was included in the condo. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We will be back!

Our goal in booking is to find a sanctuary where we can relax after fun days exploring.. It was lovely being on the water and hearing the waves. We wish we’d read the listing more carefully (we were dazzled by all the great reviews) because with high 80s temperatures, A/C is necessary. Bottom line, coming home hot from hikes and other activities, we’d have so appreciated being able to cool off. The a/c in the bedroom helped but the tv needed a subscription to work. Sad that being in the car was our sanctuary. Though the condo was nice, we think “luxury” isn’t accurate. I’m sure we’re not first to mention the lack of a/c but obviously poor reviews must be removed by owners.

Can't beat the view! Sitting and watching the ocean every morning was an absolute delight! Like everyone has said below the location is central and the apartment itself is wonderfully organized and maintained.
Unfortunately we did have an issue on check in. When we arrived to the apartment it was not fully turned over, we immediately reached out to the owners but we did not hear a single reply from them about this our entire stay. The property manager, Marvis, eventually stopped by and finished getting the apartment ready. While she was lovely it was a jarring way to start the trip.

We had a phenomenal time on Kauai. Couldn’t ask for more - this accommodation was well stocked with everything we could ask for. Kapa’a is located centrally so this apartment offers relatively quick access all parts of the island. By the way - Malasadas across the street at Passion Bakery Cafe alone warrant a return trip (but get there early!)

Spectacular view from the condo with the soothing sounds of the wave crashing. Location was perfect, centralized, near shops, restaurants, but yet away from the big crowds. Condo was clean with all amenities needed. Truly enjoyed our stay, will be back for sure. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

This was a beautiful stay! The oceanside view is unbelievable and it was amazing to just sit out and watch the waves come in and out. A walk down to the beach takes just a few minutes and the bakery across the street is a must-visit. The kitchen provided everything we needed and even some extra condiments in the fridge. The AC in the bedroom is quite loud but we were able to sleep through it and it was greatly appreciated on some of those warmer nights.
One problem we went through was when we uncovered the bed sheets to sleep there was this strong stench that I thought was body odor since it was so strong. The owners told me they've never had an issue with this before but when I contacted the property manager, she said that the mildew build up in the washer makes everything smell like mildew if it sits in for too long. She was pleasant and washed all our blankets and sheets for us by the end of the day and it was resolved but it got me thinking. The check-out list asks for guests to put the sheets in the washer and start it with the laundry detergent they provide before they leave. First, I personally haven't seen any Vrbo's asking guests to wash bedding before so that was a little off putting. Secondly, this is likely where the mildew smell issue arose from if guests check out early and it sits in the washer for hours.
Overall this really is a great stay and I would recommend it to others but just be aware that the bed may smell like mildew.
