The house is in a great location right by the dunes and one of the main pools that is actually heated in the winter which was surprising. Do to the proximity of the pool expect some music and people about but that didn't bother us at all. The 3rd story loft is great for a teenager.

Per usual the house and property were great. We stay at Cinnamon Shores because of the convenience and family atmosphere. I hate all the pop up tents now on the beach that would set up right in front of your beach chairs.

My wife and I brought our adult kids and grands to CS after Christmas. We’d received great communication leading up to our visit, so we were looking forward to our time together. Upon arrival they didn’t have a packet in my name, so had to look up reservation... not a big deal. We entered the house and freezer did not work, so we called office. They sent repair guy, but could never solve the problem. So they brought a small fridge/freezer unit and delivered ice every day. Then the kitchen sink got backed up and the disposa was not working, so they sent a repair guy again. Then while getting things settled in the master, I stepped on several sticker burrs that were on the carpet. None of these are individually significant, but the combination was frustrating based on the tariff we were paying. I’d have thought they’d have checked the house better before our arrival. I’ve asked for some sort of refund for the inconvenience. I was told they’d get back to me and they have yet to respond. We had a great time together - but the first day was a bit frustrating.

We had 6 couples and we all were very comfortable. The houses room were perfectly tucked in individually to feel like there was privacy but the kitchen and living room had plenty of spaced when we gathered. The fenced in patio was a perfect place to hang out. The location was great! It was right next to the pool. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had all the necessities needed . Dylan’s pizza was delicious we had it twice, Isabella’s was perfect and we enjoyed the bonfire VERY MUCH!!

We recently stayed at A Wave From It All and had a wonderful time! The footprint of this home is smaller than some of the others, so if you are staying with the max of 14 as the reservation site claims this house can sleep, it's going to get really cozy during mealtimes or if everyone is gathering at the same time downstairs. The charming screened in porch of off of the living room was unusable as the dining table was filthy and needs a power wash and re-paint. The lovely white chairs in the dining and living room need a deep clean as well. The air conditioning for the two master bedrooms upstairs also needs to be looked at as the air does not seem to get either o those rooms. The staff was super friendly and very helpful! We needed a new propane tank for the grill outside and they had one to us in less than 30 minutes!

Several comments I would like to make about Cinnamon Shore experience.
First, this was the first for my wife, daughter, and I to visit the Shore. We have for 30 years or more visited the Ala/Fla. beaches.
The uniqueness of the resort was that the number of people at the beachfront is limited to the bathhouses residents. Being renters or owners. The beach area was amazingly clean and well kept. Also, access to the beach as well.
The major concern I had was the beach vehicle traffic thorough fare between the chairs and dunes. We were there on a weekend. Which increase the number of locals to infiltrate the area. While most of the traffic was cordial and alert to the pedestrians in the area. However, and I say a big however. There were multiple times where there was reckless driving of carts and autos. There is no Sheriffs or local enforcement in the general area. No patrolling. My fear is that a 2 -6 year old runs out in front of a vehicle.
I suggest that the owners and the leasing company hire off duty police and sheriff officers to patrol the area of the Shore beaches. Or just be present. Which does a lot to prohibit the bad characters from demonstrating there stupidity or ignorance.
A couple of more restaurant or grills be available.
We enjoyed the stay. The beach house was very nice. Everything worked. The AC units intakes had no filters. The upper loft was hot. Needs a separate AC unit for the loft.

A visit to the beach during hurricane season
This is a great house and a wonderful place to take your grandchildren. The only negative is that we visited Cinnamon Shore during a possible tropical storm/hurricane. Once the storm upgraded to a category 1 hurricane
especially not being from this area, we were unsure whether to leave or stay. I know that this must have been a very crazy time for the office but when we tried to contact the office for some sort of directive and it seemed as if our only option was to leave a message. It would have been nice to actually talk to someone. Part of our group left during the storm and a few stayed behind. The storm took a turn, so Port Aransas was not hit as hard as expected but there was a loss of electricity over night. We were fortunate that we had family in Austin that we could stay with until after the storm passed. I think my disappointment in this unfortunate situation is that the majority of the correspondence that we received from Cinnamon Shore was only in reference to cancellation policies. Be aware of what the cancellation policy is and if you purchase insurance, read the policy. Before the storm hit, a 2 night credit was offered but because we had 5 nights remaining on our rental a 2 night credit was not a good option. Also if you chose to take advantage of the 2 night credit, you had to use it on the same house and before the end of the year. There was never any compensation offered for being without electricity for 12-14 hours. We ended up having a great time but I do think that there should be more flexibility with the cancellation policy especially if there is a possibility of a hurricane.

A great week that could have been even better. See maintenance list submitted separately (add squeaky closet door downstairs). The unit needs a deep cleaning, including all furniture / coverings. Our major complaint is that there is no security unit to enforce the reckless, noisy speeding cart shenanigans that go on from late afternoon till after midnight. For all its other amenities, CS should be gated and have a roaming security person (like at the malls). There is no way to immediately contact the office in the event of an issue (including a gas leak we experienced between units or racing, noisy teenagers) -- the phones need to be staffed. Kudos to the beach and cart workers during the changing restrictions. Upon arrival, upstairs had not been cleaned, but the crew who came out was great.

The house A Wave From It All 252 BE was the best. Plenty of room and nice and clean. 5 Stars. Would definitely stay here again. Close to the pool and the beach. The only thing needed was the grass in backyard needed mowing (too many stickers) as we had little ones who did not like to wear shoes and the dryer had too much lint to dry clothes.

The house had everything we needed except sheets for the pullout sofa. Someone brought us sheets the following day.

Our family of six adults and three children stayed here last week. The house was perfect for our group - plenty of space to spread out, the bedroom layout was perfect and having the additional living space on the third floor was nice for those who needed to work for a few hours during the day and for movie night for our grandchildren.
The house is right on the pool and very close to the entrance and exit to the beach. Perfect location.
It was so nice having restaurants on site and the last night of our stay we enjoyed the live music in the community.
We plan on making this an annual trip!

We stayed for 4 nights (Sept 13-16) in the unit called "A Wave From it All". The home was wonderful...clean, great kitchen with plenty of cooking items, abundance of towels, washer/dryer, large enough for 6 adults and 5 grandchildren to stay comfortably. It is very close to the beach, the backyard is next to a large swimming pool, quiet location, and ample parking. We will rent this unit again for sure!

Our multigenerational family vacation ( from 2 yrs to 80 yrs) was so much fun! The house was perfect for our needs, and the golf cart made traveling to the beach, great lawn, etc so easy. Kitchen faucet and wifi never worked, but office was great about sending repairmen.

We did have an issue with the houses upon arrival. The sofa sleeper in the 3rd floor loft had been switched to a regular couch without our knowledge. The staff at Cinnamon shores did an exceptional job of working with us to create a solution. Much appreciated. The property was very nice and well maintained. We greatly enjoyed having the new onsite amenities (market, pizza place). The individuals that conducted the surf class were great. The home next door was under going a roof replacement during our stay, so the traffic and noise associated was not appreciated.

My extended family stayed here for a week. Overall the stay was good, but the house had a roach problem and a fire ant problem on the back porch. Also, there was not an ice maker in the freezer, and the cold water tap was turned off at the kitchen sink for some God only knows reason. Also the pillows were awful and there was a serious lack of towel racks to dry your wet towels on. Overall we enjoyed our stay but I'm not sure we'd stay in the same house again. At least not until they get an ice maker and take care of the roach problem.

This is the fifth time my family visited cinnamon shores and the only time we had a poor experience. The home we rented had a wonderful location but the home was in very poor condition for a rental in cinnamon shore. It had plumbing issues with toilets, water leaks and unusable lavatories downstairs, ice maker never did work after numerous promises by repairmen that it would be fixed daily,broken and chipped glasses in cabinets, exterior doors that wouldn’t open and close properly, locksets that fell off when door was opened or closed, blinds missing completely on third floor and broken blinds on second floor,broken glass on property outside and on screened porch,worn and stained upholstery in both the living areas downstairs and on third floor and exterior lights not attached to the house properly and hanging as well as faulty exterior plugs in front. The common areas of cinnamon shores were superior as always, great pools and restaurants and beautifully maintained grounds and excellent service at cafe and bar at Kiera pool!!

The property was perfect for our family. Our group had a two year old to grandparents. The property description was spot on. The home is beautiful, comfortable. It was immaculate. Plenty of comfortable seating. A great kitchen. Perfect location. The pool is right behind the house and close enough to walk to the beach if desired. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff at Cinnamon Shore. Their customer service is beyond compare. We had a question about one of the televisions and in no more that 5 minutes maintenance as at the house and fixed the problem. The kids love the pool and we ate lunch there a couple of times. Mike in the office is the best. Made us welcome. There is no better place to stay then Cinnamon Shore! We will definitely be back!!

My family and I love this place! This is where we spend our summer vacation every year. We have created so many great memories here that we can't imagine leaving. Two weeks isn't enough! The staff have always been top notch. Above and beyond the obvious expectations one would have staying at a place of this caliber. Simply the very best place on the island if you want it all. Great food, incredible accommodations, home away from home feel without the feeling your just another temporary tenant. The beach access is unmatched and the pools are always clean. The golf carts they offer take all the stress out of cleaning your beached family wagon. No mess means less stress! The catering team cooked for over 35 quests poolside during our corporate management event this year. Yummy! If you fish the flats, Wilson's cut is right up the road and Lisabellas will even cook your fish for you! Hope this helps your family find the perfect place in Port Aransas. Cheers!

This property is stunning from the pictures but upon arrival I was not impressed. The floors were beyond filthy and I had to have house keeping come and clean them. The furniture slip covers were stained and needed to all be washed, there was dried salsa stuck to the coffee table, potato chips on the living room floor, hair on the rug in the master, light fixtures in desperate need of a good wipe down, they were covered in dust, ac vents were beyond filthy, sticky fingerprints all over the back door Windows and spills on the cabinet doors. Not to mention that the Internet did not work the entire time we were there. I know this is a beach property but you could not walk outside without getting eaten alive by mosquitos and I killed 5 massive roaches while we were there over the 6 day period. I felt like we were paying ritz Carlton prices for a beautifully decorated motel 6. On a plus, the beds were extremely comfortable and again, the furnishings were very upscale, finish out on the house is high end (market in bathrooms, ceaser stone counters, etc but not well maintained. Master shower had the orange soap scum mold all in it. They either need to charge less/night or do a much better job at thoroughly cleaning. And it would gave been nice to know that Internet service is NOT guaranteed. It says that in the property description but it is in very fine print.

All of our family members really enjoyed this home. It was close to the boardwalk and very close to a pool. We also enjoyed the food at the pool restaurant. We even cooked our "catch" on the outside grill. Of course, the kids enjoyed the beach and riding in the dune buggy. The beds were great and the kitchen was stocked with all the equipment you needed to prepare a meal. All in all we had a great vacation in this home. We would highly recommended this home.

We had a great girls weekend trip except for the fact that there was NO GRILL!!! This was a HUGE pain because we had done meal planning and almost all of our food needed to be GRILLED! We were also not told ahead of time that the pool the house backed up to would be closed due to a wedding. That was one of the main reasons that we chose this particular house to begin with.
