This fabulous house was featured in many National magazine publications, such as Log Home Living, Country Sampler and was even a featured month in 'Log Cabins' Calendars. The hand hewn logs are so amazing and remind us of the craftsmanship of an era gone by. The home is located on a beautiful quiet tree lined street. You can hear Rock creek from an open window which is located just across the street. The house is located in a historic part of town known as Finn Town. Walk to everything! Located just 2 short walking blocks from historic 'Main street', where there is an abundance of restaurants, bars, and shopping. This house is completely designer decorated. Each room with it's own special feel. In the living room a massive two sided river rock fireplace. In the kitchen and have a romantic dinner by the fire. Welcome to the 'World's Most Comfortable Bed!' The 'Bed in a Box' brand, 11 inch, memory foam mattress meets and exceeds the Tempurpedic mattress in support and comfort. Along with the 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets this bed will give you a deep and comfortable sleep. The bathroom has so many features. Austrailian green cafe marble, a 2 person hand laid Flathead Lake rock spa shower. 5 body spays. 3 body jets and a doubled shower head. You may find yourself taking 4 or 5 showers a day There are two large HD flat screen TV's (a DVD player in the bedroom)with 64 cable channels for the TV generation. There is a large deck that offers a great outdoor living space in the summer. And a place for all your ski and gear in the deck closet in the winter months. This is a smoke free home as the owner is allergic to smoke. We hope you will honor our Japanese tradition and not wear shoes in the home. We have slippers for your comfort on arrival located just inside the door. The home sleeps 4-5 comfortable. There is a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience. And a very large Hot Springs Spa located just off the deck to soothe those ski tired muscles and enjoy those big starry nights! Keywords: Cottage

What a gem! Quiet but close to all thats happening in the wonderful town of Red Lodge. Home exudes history; the house is comfortable with neat decorative touches. Robin was responsive, easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

We loved our stay, the hot tub was great for after skiing! Perfect to relax in the evenings, make dinner and hang out by the fireplace! Looking forward to our next stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Haggin House, and overall, our experience was positive. The house was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities that we needed for our stay. However I do feel it's important to mention that the decor in the house was quite cluttered with many fragile items that made it challenging to feel completely at ease. While the decorations were undoubtedly lovely and added a unique charm to the space, it did make it difficult to fully relax and enjoy our stay without worrying about accidentally breaking something. That being said, I understand everyone has their own preferences and some may find the abundance of decorations to be a delightful aspect of their stay. Overall I would recommend this house with the caveat that those who prefer a minimalist or less cluttered environment may want to take note of the decor before booking.

We LOVED our stay at the Haggin House. It was perfect for my husband and I and we would love to stay here again! Perfect location to downtown Red Lodge and Robin was the sweetest host. Thank you for having us! Check it out!

Amazing Historical Cabin
Rob and Robin were delightful hosts at this beautiful cabin in Red Lodge. The cabin is beautifully decorated! We were able to walk to the local spots in town and only a short drive to the Bear Tooth Pass and Yellowstone. Even after Red Lodge began to flood, Rob brought us water and Robin was in communication the entire time. This cabin will not disappoint.

Warm and cozy
What a surprise walking into the perfect log cabin! I think my favorite thing was the fabulous shower… No… I think I liked the huge two sided stone fireplace best…. Except the the adjustable bed was pretty fantastic too! Let’s just say the whole place it was pretty perfect! Oh, I forgot to mention the friendly deer just ambling down the street! I loved everything about our stay! Thank you Robin and Steve, for the perfect stay!

This place is such a cute and cozy gem. The shower, fireplace and hot tub were everything we wanted and needed for our relaxing vacation (we wish the weather would not have been so windy so we could have enjoyed the hot tub more!) We needed an item (the listed hairdryer was not there) and the host responded immediately to bring us another one. Great stay and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful property in a great town
A very comfortable place for a couples getaway. The hot tub is hot and the fireplace cozy. The host is friendly, accommodating and helpful. A great place to enjoy Red Lodge with all it has to offer.

The property is an amazing place to visit and stay. We were there for 8 days, and our goal was to find snow, snowmobiling, cold weather, and beautiful mountains with relaxation from a hectic work schedule. However, with the lack of snow locally and the mountain pass shut down to get to another side of Yellowstone, snowmobiling was postponed. We got cold weather, a little snow over a few days, built a snowman and snowdog, and drove around sightseeing lots of doe, bucks, and turkeys! We drove to Cody WY and around Red Lodge Ski mountain, which had snow they made plus natural snow too.
The beautiful two-sided gas fireplace which is open to both the kitchen living room, wonderful bed, bedding, sofa set, and two TVs that with wifi streaming with apps and also cable offered a lot of options. The decor and art are beautiful and there are a lot of dishes and kitchen cooking items. We cooked most meals in except for two., and just really enjoyed our week. Steve is the local manager and kept the snow off the deck, He also helped out with items we needed during our stay and was available as needed.

Beautiful Cabin
We booked the cabin to spend Christmas while on our Honeymoon and it was perfect! Great location, very clean and so many personal touches that made it even more charming. Highly recommend booking this place!

The best VRBO property in Red Lodge
This cozy little home is only two blocks away from the center of everything in Red Lodge. It has been featured in all sorts of magazines and you will see why the moment you walk through the door. It also features the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen on VRBO. Don't go to the store until you've checked out its teeming inventory of dry goods, spices and condiments. The bed is comfortable, the fireplace is amazing and the artwork will make you feel like you're sitting in a Western art gallery. Do not hesitate to book this home.

We’ve stayed at this charming little house several times and were happy to be back “home”.
It’s a beautiful place filled with artwork and every amenity one needs. It’s close to downtown which is great for walks in the mountain air. My wife and I always enjoy staying here.

Great base for exploring the Beartooth Mountains
We spent a wonderful two weeks in this fun little house! Every room is laid out to maximize your enjoyment whether you are reading on the sun porch, relaxing by the fire in the evening, sleeping in the uber-comfy bed or taking a hot shower after a hike. The kitchen has the essentials although the oven and BBQ were a bit tempermental. The one neighbor is just a few feet away but we never felt like we were lacking in privacy....even when enjoying the hot tub. The short walk into town was a true luxury and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. We lost all of nickels in the slot machine on the sun porch....wishing you better luck!

70th Birthday Getaway
Cozy cabin! We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace as it rained or snowed the entire time...but it was a great change just to relax in such a quaint and unique cabin.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at! Truly amazing.
Had a great stay for about 5 days. The town is lovely and it’s only a few minutes of a walk from the house! It was such a peaceful time and the town is very quiet. The shower is amazing and the bed is very comfortable! Would definitely come back.

Fantastic getaway for two!
My husband and I stayed a few nights and had a get vacation sans children. We thoroughly enjoyed the silence! The super comfy bed and cozy fireplace were delightful. Would definitely stay here again!

Very Nice and Would Stay Again!
Anybody staying here needs to allow time to admire all of the art work and the other beautiful artifacts, which makes this property highly unusual. I stared at the living room chandelier for thirty minutes admiring the features that I think should be in a museum. Very comfortable for a couple looking for something special, but this worked out for my wife, myself, and our two teenage kids on a ski vacation. Naturally, the hot tub was a big hit!

Are you kidding me????
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation in Red Lodge, Montana, in September 2018. The town is conveniently located an hour south of Billings, and an hour north of Cody, Wyoming, right near the majestic Beartooth Pass. The house was two blocks from town, which made shopping, eating, and going out for drinks very convenient. The town is pretty much adorable. Walking into the house was like a scene out of a storybook. It was exactly like the pictures. Upon arrival, there were baby deer in the backyard. These deer hung out there most of the trip. The last day, we were surprised to see a large amount of wild turkeys, with the deer, in the backyard, hence the title "Are you kidding me????" We couldn't believe it. It was such a fun and entertaining scene and it was just for us! Just down the street was a momma moose and her sleeping baby in the neighbor's yard. Breathtaking. We also saw the illusive hummingbird moth fluttering around the flowers two days in a row. It was so much fun. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire house was spotless. Even with all of the high end art pieces all over, there wasn't a speck of dust. The owner was very kind and although we didn't need anything, I'm sure he would have been responsive. The fireplace was cozy and easy to use. There were lots of items to use around the house, in both the kitchen and the bathroom. I thought the water cooler was a very nice touch. I highly recommend this property to ANY couple looking to get away. We loved it.

A great week-end
We had a great time in Red Lodge and with this property. The cabin was beautifully done and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We had wild turkeys and deer in our yard which were fun to watch. Easy two block walk to the shopping/dining area and a few miles drive to spectacular scenery.

A super quaint, comfortable get away in the heart of Red Lodge.
This one bed room, one bathroom property is a perfect couple’s retreat. We so enjoyed our nights sitting in front of the fireplace, sleeping in the comfy bed, and the overall eclectic ombience of the property. The back porch and hot tub was a added bonus. If you want a place that you can walk to all that downtown Red Lodge has to offer, this place is for you.

The Haggin House...what a gem!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again at the Haggin House. It's a beautiful little gem. This charming log home is a great place to kick back and relax, read a book, and just enjoy the fireplace. And the hospitality of Robin and Steve is very much appreciated. It had been several years since we stayed here in Red Lodge, but we were so glad to be back. We plan to be back in the area later this year and will want to stay here again.

This is just the greatest little cabin. It was a very long trip from the black hills but the minute we opened the door and put on our slippers it felt like home. It was just the way it was described on VRBO. The town is fun night time or day and we would love to take advantage of staying there again. Close by is the back way into Yellowstone Park over Beartooth Pass. 10,000 feet up with many switchbacks and beautiful views. The cabin made our vacation in Red Lodge delightful and the highlight of our trip. Thanks!
