It includes off-street parking and bikes in the shed to use for excursions to the main downtown area. The open floor plan of this home makes for a comfortable setting for families, couples, and friends. This house was built to be a VRBO rental - it is decorated very nicely without any owner knick knacks or lock offs. This is a stand alone house across from an elementary school in a very quiet neighborhood not mother in law quarters.

My husband, kids, and I had a wonderful stay at this house. It could not be more perfect for kids. It's an open floorplan, so the kids could run around and we could still see everything they were doing (VERY important). Nothing "breakable" within reach of the kids and the high top table made it easy to just get a booster seat for the baby and he could sit at the table with us. The house was very clean and well-stocked. It's a nice, quiet street, but very close drive to downtown Durango. We really appreciated the quiet at bedtime as we were able to open the windows at night to hear the wildlife and keep the house cool. The house is very well insulated and stays cool (especially at night). The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Check in and out were extremely easy. I really appreciated the uncomplicated check out. The host book had great recommendations and was very clear. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Durango! Thank you for the amazing stay!

This was the perfect place to stay in Durango! The house is cozy, clean, well appointed, and extremely welcoming. We used it as our home base to explore the area during our 7 night stay. The location is fantastic. We were close to everything yet in a quiet area of town. Nate and Tammy were wonderful hosts.

Our family of five visited Durango and stayed in this beautiful home. It was ideal for us and we felt so comfortable there. It was cozy enough to feel togetherness as a family while still providing space for individual quiet time when we wanted that. The accommodations were above and beyond what we expected. The owners really thought of everything we could’ve wanted to feel at home and enjoy our visit. We loved the outdoor space and grill, the sound of the creek running near the house, the close proximity to downtown, the neighborhood park, the convenience of two bathrooms, and the well-stocked kitchen.

Modern, clean STR in a wonderful location. The home is comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. We appreciated all of the amenities, down to the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and coffee and creamer. Beds were very comfortable. Nate and Tammy are great communicators. The check out instructions for this were clear, easy and not over the top. Would definitely stay here again.

Very very clean, very comfortable, very quite. Location is perfect, its quite, very safe feeling, easy walk to the Animas River. Easy jog to some mountain trails. You can even hear the nearby creek. All in all, as good as you can get!!

We shared Tammy and Nate‘s lovely home with two friends while exploring Colorado on motorcycles. This was the greatest homebase and experience I have had with VRBO in quite some time. Everything you could need, or want was available. We had many deer visitors and a mama bird had a nest on the back porch. It was entertaining to watch her. We highly recommend this state of the art, up-to-date beautiful property if you’re ever visiting the Durango area. It is close to downtown, there are bikes you can ride which we took advantage of and plenty of space and parking. We will definitely consider staying again if we’re in the Durango area. Thank you to our hosts for accepting us as guests in their home!

We loved this home! Our boys (4 and 6) had so much fun sharing the loft bed and having two bathrooms and a bathtub was just what we needed for this getaway. This home is close to an elementary school and the playground is open to the public when school is out. Lots of fun toys for little ones to play on. It was easy driving distance to downtown Durango and we enjoyed sledding near Purgatory. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

A white Christmas in Durango at the perfect property! Loved the layout of the house and everything is exactly as described in the listing. It is very well maintained and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nate came by and shoveled and salted the steps (thank you, Nate!) My sister-in-laws place in Durango is too small for us to stay with her, so we have stayed in hotels previously when visiting her. This is a much better option and we will be back!
