Situated in Durango, this charming house for $437 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This is a modular home that will blow your mind! 3 BR, 2 BA 1586 sf. Beautiful finishes, Beautiful Kitchen. Enjoy the covered patio with outdoor furniture and bar. Wonderful for entertaining. Mini golf in the front of the house. Playhouse for the kids. Backs to 30 acres of BLM. (If you are traveling here during the winter time, know that if we are having snow storms, we do plow the driveway, but it is a steep driveway and may require 4 wheel drive the last 30 feet. There is an option to park at a lower level if needed and walk up).

Outstanding open concept - family room with large flatscreen tv / kitchen with island that seats 4 into a very nice living room. Master suite off family room and 2 more bedrooms and full bathroom off living room (opposite side of home from master). 15 minutes to Hillcrest Golf Course (outstanding!), 20 minutes to "downtown" - very quaint / fantastic shops / breweries / eateries. *4 star cleanliness is the outside driveway area (just need to clean up after dog) inside is immaculate. Overall 4.5 stars

We were in town for a wedding. Perfect location for our needs. Plenty of room, great host, easy stay! Only issues were with shower controls in both bathrooms.. took a little bit to get used to.

All in all, the house was nice enough, but our cumulative experience was less than our expectations.
The stay started out w/ checking in at 4PM to a uncleaned house. We contacted the owner & he explained that their cleaner missed it because of a personal booking not on the schedule. We had to find something to do for 4.5 hours while they cleaned. Arrived at 8:30pm to a dark house w/ no outside lights. Used our phone flashlights to find the key and get in, & the lights outside would not turn on. We unloaded in the dark & almost busted my face trying to manage flashlight & luggage. They contacted me at 10:30 to make sure we got in, & I told him about the lights, but never fixed. We had to load in dark also on departure. I was disappointed that the owner did not offer any sort of credit or refund to us for being inconvenienced & delayed checkin.
No welcome guide or instructions in the house. Nice fireplace, but we couldn’t figure out how to turn the fire on (found the fan but no fire). Also no check out guide, so we had to ask what to do, where to take trash, etc. They wanted us to run and unload the dishwasher, which was a strange request, with no detergent.
Broken tiles coming up in the hall bathroom.
Sharp metal coming out on back of couch.
Painted light switches hard to flip.
Beds were pretty comfy.
Internet and TV worked well but only cable in living room.
Driveway is VERY steep, so we were thankful there was no snow. Backing down was tough.

The house was very nice and clean we had everything we needed and had a great stay. It snowed a lot during our stay and we definitely needed 4 wheel drive to get up the drive way a couple times. We would definitely stay here again!

Staying here was super easy. Quick little ride to get into Durango, as well as the airport. My children loved the playhouse and the putting green.

The warm outdoor patio photos that you see on the listing are not accurate! The deck is falling apart, the patio furniture is old and their is no outdoor fireplace like shown in the pictures. The inside is clean but needs repairs, carpet is old and dingy. The kitchen is the only nice thing about this property. The area around the home is not accurately depicted at all. This is in the middle of very run down trailer park with a NOISY Hi-Way right next door. We decided not stay here during our vacation and just found nightly hotels instead of staying at the property. I would only recommend this property a very reduced rate.

Arrived around 11:30p after 6hr drive & spent next 3hrs cleaning. Lots of nats & bugs around lights & ceiling so tried to vacuum them up only to discover vacuum wasn't sucking. Took it apart & cleaned 1/2 of dust off filter, washed foam & put back together correctly. Worked great f/ there. Vacuumed entire place & filled up canister w/ dirt f/ carpet. Next day I found mop, which again seemed like the cover hadn't ever been washed so I hand washed it & water was black. Proceeded to mop kitchen & baths & again hand washed cloth which was incredibly dirty. Wiped down cabinets, handles, couches & countertops filling up the trashcan w/ dirty wipes. Unit has 1 portable AC unit in back & window unit in front. Had ceiling fans on high to try & circulate air but had to buy a couple small fans to pull cool air into bedrooms. Also bought a bug zapper for porch which was amazing & really helped w/ keeping bugs down. The mini golf course was a bit worn, uneven & made it difficult to play. Hall bath floor had loose & popped tiles from water coming through sheer top of shower curtain.
Positives- nice & roomy. Upgraded kitchen, nice appliances, comfortable beds, nice outdoor space & lots of parking. Easy check in process & great location. Quiet area & great views.
Overall a very nice place & enjoyed our stay. Would recommend owner to speak with cleaning company on washing mop cloth & making sure vacuum is cleaned out & filter washed before & after use. Highly recommend batting outdoor cushions to get dirt the settled dirt out & installing a bug zapper or 2 on rear porch to help keep bugs at bay so the area can be enjoyed more.

Spacious property with lovely views!!
With 3 BR's and 2 full bathrooms this property is great for a large family or group of friends. The outdoor areas for sitting and relaxing are spacious and the permanent fairy lights provide the perfect amount of lighting for evening enjoyment. Fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, and we even had welcome mints and water in the fridge to greet us. Host is very responsive.

If we need a place to stay again, we will be coming back! Great communication with owner, responded very quickly every time I asked a question.

Beautiful home!
Very nice home, Beds and furniture were very comfy! Lots and lots of room inside and out. We didn’t get to enjoy the patios because weather was a bit chilly and very windy. Cozy and spatious
Our family had a pleasant stay in the cozy and spatious vacation rental. The location was within a 10 drive to town so very convenient. Washer and dryer were very convenient and the house was clean.

We had a pleasant stay the home was very nice!
The ceiling fans did need some cleaning they had some dust. The tile in the main bathroom was loose by toilet. There was no trash bags for kitchen trash. But overall was good

Nice property with a great view
This home was easy to get to and close to everything we wanted to do. The property is quite large and the bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was stocked and the furniture comfortable. My family really enjoyed this property. My only issue was there were no garbage bags so we had to use Albertsons bags that we got when we went to the grocery store. It was definitely a minor issue compared to the overall positive experience we had. Thanks so much for the lovely home at a great price.

We found the property to meet our needs quite well. Easy process. Good for multiple parties with common areas to socialize. Bedrooms and bathrooms met our requirements. Great place to stay!
The house was super clean, comfortable and well stocked with essentials. Great location(4 min) to Durango and a very good price point. The owner was VERY accommodating in letting us check in early and had timely communication. Will stay here again in the future.

Perfect for group of 6. Had great time. All the amenities and kitchenettes are available. The location is perfect for trip to Durango. Purgatory resorts and hot springs are within 45 mins drive. Highly recommend this property.

Great place, close to Durango town with Modern interiors.
Perfect for group of 6. Had great time. All the amenities and kitchenettes are available. The location is perfect for trip to Durango. Purgatory resorts and hot springs are within 45 mins drive. Highly recommend this property.

Nice house, good experience
I stayed with my sisters, all adults. The property would also be great for kids, it has an adorable playhouse, and some mini-golf. The owners were responsive, and flexible when I needed to change my plans. The kitchen and other common areas are spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The location is convenient to town, and backs up to land that would be very pretty in the Fall or Spring. You can however, hear the highway noise when outside, or inside when the windows are open.

Wow! What a great place to stay for our family. This space is large and very easy for all of us to have our own space. We spent Thanksgiving together with our adult children who live in Durango. We were able to cook at home rather than spending money to eat out. A great quality vacation with this beautiful living environment!

The VRBO was comfortable. The unit had everything you could possibly need and was thoughtful in what they offered. for use. The only complaints were the master bed was not the most comfortable although not too bad and the furnace made a clicking noise when it was on that got kinda irritating. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Living Space
The property is very comfortable with everything we needed for a week's stay. It is on the highway so traffic and road noise is pretty constant, but you do not hear it inside. Location is good for traveling around Durango.

Very nice property located just outside Durango. Looks like property had been recently updated. Had a hiccup getting access but once we got in found the property to be very nice.
