About this house rental
Nestled in Durango, this attractive house for $368 per night is a great option for your next vacation. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** City of Durango Permit 15-222 Note: Trailer parking is not allowed on the property. Our 1,500 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath Crimson Cliff townhome (Unit 5) is situated near the Animas River just 4 miles north of downtown Durango and 25 miles from Durango Mountain Resort (25 minutes). This home offers an ideal location with incomparable views of the Animas River Valley, and immediate access to the resort area without having to drive through town to get to trails, national forest land and the ski area. The Durango Trolley stops right in front of the home every 20 minutes making it convenient to get downtown without having to drive or park. The kitchen features high end appliances and central AC for the occasional warm summer days. The Crimson Cliff complex includes a private park with sand volleyball court, playground equipment, nine-hole mini-golf, small pond, fire pit and a gravel walking track around the large lawn. Bed Configuration: Master Bedroom- Queen with TV and Ensuite Bath (Ground Floor) 2nd Bedroom- Queen (2nd floor-Main Level) Bonus Room - Bunk Beds (single over single) (2nd Floor-Main Level) Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. Enjoyed our 10 day stay in this super comfy townhome! Well stocked kitchen. Easy access to hwy 550 for downtown exploring in addition to the surrounding sites. Appreciated access to the garage for secure parking.
Some maintenance items for consideration:
- Loose towel bar in downstairs master bathroom
- front door handle sticks, may need some WD-40
- one ceiling light out in kitchen
- ironing board cover needs replacing
Comfort requests:
- cushions for patio furniture
- standard, brighter lights in all rooms
- drawer and closet space for clothing in both master BR
** might want to consider moving sound bar away from common wall so the sound vibration doesn’t bother the neighbor. Our 2 movies were complete and TV off before 10 pm

We loved the layout of this condo. It was very roomy and convenient to have the master on a separate level than the other bedrooms. Every morning we enjoyed watching the train go by and looking at the beautiful mountains. It’s very close to everything you would want to do in Durango. We highly recommend the Hot Springs that are right up the road. The condo was in perfect condition. Everything was clean and they had many special touches. Would love to stay here again.

Our 7-night stay in the Crimson Cliffs townhouse was very comfortable. The home was clean, well-stocked, and the right distance from town (~3 miles). Our family of five (3 adults, 2 kids) had plenty of room, with 2 queen beds plus bunk beds in the 3 bedrooms; plus 2 1/2 baths. Two suggestions for improvement: improve the lighting in the house (generally dim; lots of ceiling lights, but low wattage??); and the complex’s play area was rickety (the girls played there once; we then took them to some of the city parks to play)

This property was even better than anticipated! Super clean, extremely well appointed, awesome view. The train rolls along (including whistle) directly behind it a couple of times in morning and late afternoon but not too early or too late so we found it to be a welcomed part of our stay. The neighborhood is tucked in away from traffic on the north end of town, making it very quiet. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent property and was as advertised. Very clean and well equipped. It was especially nice to have a garage. The master was on the ground level all other bedrooms and living spaces were on the second level. The only downside was the hot water - I found the recirculating pump was unplugged - initially plugging in the pump seemed to solve the problem, but the pump turned out to be defective and stopped the hot water in the middle of our showers. After experimenting, the only way to get satisfactory hot water was to let the water run for 10 to 15 minutes - wasted a lot of water, but didn't freeze while taking a shower. The master bath had a great walk-in shower - also a large tub which we didn't use. This unit was very convenient to down town - we had a great vacation stay. We would return to this unit.

Relaxing stay in Durango.
I was impressed and pleased with every aspect of my stay in this townhome. Communication was excellent and I had all the information I needed upon arrival to gain access to the townhome. My wife and I were genuinely impressed by the level of cleanliness within the unit and found ourselves commenting about the level of comfort and quality of furnishings. When looking at the pictures you will see the railroad tracks right outside the unit. One of my favorite pastimes was sitting out on the patio each morning and afternoon as the trains from the Durango-Silverton railroad made their daily journey out and back. The first train does not pass until well after 8 a.m. and they were all back in the evening by no later than 7 p.m. so it was never a disruptive element during our stay, All in all everyone in my household agreed that this was a place we would happily visit again.
