Located in Durango, this lovely condo for $439 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** City of Durango Permit - 2017-264 Our 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo (La Plata Loft - 206 College) is all about it's exceptional location as it is located in heart of Durango's historic tourist district. The condo is just 2 blocks from the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Depot and a seemingly endless supply of restaurants, shops and galleries on Main Avenue The condo was furnished with high end furnishings and both pull out sofas are from American Leather Sleeper, which is the most comfortable pull out sofa on the market. Bed Configuration: Master Bedroom - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (2nd Floor) 2nd Bedroom - Twin and twin sofa sleepers. (2nd Floor) Main Living Space - King Pull Out Sofa(Main Floor) The front door to the condo is on the 2nd level so stairs are required from the the street entrance. This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. Property was clean and comfortable. Parking is not great, space is extremely narrow and there was no snow/ice removal in alley/parking area making it slippery and dangerous after snowfall. Cannot use the living room tv and fireplace at the same time as the fireplace causes the tv to overheat and turn off. Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Great to walk everywhere to shop and eat. Felt safe although there were some homeless people. Parking spot is tight but could still park our Ford 250 short bed truck. Condo had everything, nice appliances, except coffee pot needs replacing. Also, needed more paper towels and had to buy tissues and hand soap. Would stay again!

So this is an average review. You will probably like this property if you rent it in the winter and have a pet. If you don't meet both of those, you may not enjoy the rental. They have an A/C issue that requires the AC to not go below 68 (they have a sign) because it locks up. There is one unit for both floors so this means the bedroom is usually 8 degrees hotter. To get the house cool you have to close all blinds and run the unit all day to get the downstairs cool. They know they have a problem and have lots of fans to compensate. The rental has a musty pet smell. Lastly, make sure that you have two codes (which are different) to get into the property. Their VRBO listing only had one. Their e-mail had both, but we did not know this and spent 20 minutes trying to get in. The property is managed (and maybe owned) by a company. When I shared the issues they kept nicely saying I was wrong. I told them I could send them a picture of both the AC issue and the instructions from VRBO, which they said was not necessary, but never apologized. So not a great experience and we would not rent this location again.

We stayed here for two nights. The upside of the property is that it’s easy walking distance from downtown. The property was also kept clean.
There are numerous negatives:
-parking space is awful—cannot even get your stuff out of the car it’s so tight.
-The unit is pretty worn down—worn out bed, both blinds in the primary bedroom are broken, kitchen sink faucet was broken.
-it is in a VERY noisy location
With all of these downsides, we just didn’t feel very comfortable there and certainly did not feel like there was value in the cost of renting. We would look elsewhere for our next Durango visit.

The condo was perfect for us. We were able to walk to Durango Steam Train, Mesa Verde Tour office, and all over Downtown. The Condo was clean, provided starter kits for kitchen and bathrooms and a great balcony for people watching. Will stay there again on our next trip!

Property was in a great location and the listing was accurate. Several items at the property were broken, the AC did not work but was repaired by the owner promptly after being notified. The shades over the sliding glass door in the kitchen did not work. The pull out bed in the guest bedroom had a missing leg that made it wobble while sleeping on it. Also the reserved parking space was too small to fit a F-150 sized truck. All these items really didnt amount to too much inconvenience hence the four star rating. Once fixed this is a five star property.

We were on family vacation and decided to visit Colorado and were able to stay in this beautiful condo in downtown Durango. It's in a prime location for walking to downtown and all the great shops and restaurants.
Host was great and addressed any questions answered. Property was great for our family of 4 including two small children. We will be booking again when in Durango.

Location is ideal for exploring Durango. Convenient to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. The unit was musty smelling and the blinds/shades were broken so that we couldn’t get out on the main balcony and had a hard time with other windows. Kitchen amenities were good, master bathroom was roomy, and there were nice Aveda products. There were plenty of hooks to put our bags and hats, which you don’t always find in rentals. All in all, it worked for us traveling with our friend due to it having 2 beds/2 baths.

We stayed with a family of 5 with kiddo ages 6, 11, & 13. The location is perfect to all of the Main Street shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bike rental, ice cream, you name it. The Durango to Silverton train is just a few blocks away as well. Driving around from this location was easy to hit up raft guides and jump on the road to Pagosa or Mesa Verde.
The place is well furnished with nice furniture, dishes and small things like paper towels, toilet paper and coffee.
My only complaint(s) are that the assigned parking space is super small with a wall on one side. So, I had to climb out of the passenger door - but the white jeep next to this spot is super nice and parks as far to the other side as possible to assist. The master bed mattress was fine - but probably needs replaced soon as it is a little worn in two spots (where people sleep the most).
Overall, we would not hesitate to come back to this property - especially if we want to spend time down town and limit driving.

This was our second year in Durango for Spring Break, and this condo was absolutely perfect for our family. The location was exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of space for us to spread out, but also for us to gather and enjoy time with one another. We will definitely be coming back!

I had a great stay! This is a very comfortable, clean home with all of the creature comforts to make a stay great. The location was perfect to get to Main Street quickly to enjoy the local shopping and restaurants. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed with window blinds that open from the top down to enjoy the mountain views while maintaining privacy, an en suite bathroom with double vanity sinks, a walk-in shower and separate whirlpool bathtub. The second bedroom has a single bed and a loveseat with a pull-out bed and a full bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower. The living area has a spacious dining table to enjoy a meal. I would highly recommend this vacation home or a family or small group of friends.

A short walk to all the fun shops and restaurants, this condo is ideally located. There is also an amazing dog park a short drive away--highly recommend. The condo was clean, up to date and furnishings were practical. The allotted parking spot will only work for a small vehicle, but there was nearby street parking. One odd thing-- no closets or drawers to store clothing so we were not able to unpack.

Well Equipped / Great Location
This property is well equipped and nicely furnished. It is located in downtown Durango within walking distance to all of the restaurants, steam train and other interests in downtown. It has a nice balcony in the front overlooking the street and another small balcony in the back, both with nice views. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was perfect for our family, well furnished and wonderful location. Within walking distance of Main Street, restaurants and shops. We loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the cool mornings of Durango. I would highly recommend this condo for your next trip to Durango!
