About this cabin rental
Recently built, this river-access cabin is perfect for couples or small families. Heaven's Hideaway was designed to be open and roomy while feeling warm and personal at the same time. Just look at the pictures and you'll instantly be hooked!
On the outside, there is access to the river - you can hear the water from the cabin! - with plenty of yard space for relaxing or exploring nature. There is also a beautiful roomy deck with a new, modern hot tub, a gas grill and ample sitting room. The sitting area of the deck has a gas fireplace for added warmth. Too many pests at night? There is also a large screened-in porch where you can sip wine and talk for hours.
On the inside, Heaven's Hideaway is filled end to end with warm rustic touches in every room. The full kitchen (including dishwasher) has modern appliances, an apron sink, beautiful colors and an island for added counter space. The sitting area is large and roomy. The bedrooms, the loft, the bathroom - you will love every room! Rainy day? We have a game room with bunches of board games! Sit by the picture windows with some coffee and a book. Enjoy reliable internet access with newly installed Starlink.

Please take your trash with you. There is dumpster access at the Shenandoah River Outfitters (less than a mile from the property). The house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag, if you would prefer.
Please note: The optional firewood charge of $10/night is for firewood. If you don't think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.
Please note: Access to the river is a shared area with neighboring properties.

This cabin is great for rest and relaxation. Very cute. And a great cabin if you want to go tubing, it’s just right down the street. We saw some wildlife there groundhog's,deer and rabbits. The host were very nice. I thought that our daughter and son-in-law were coming to visit so I messaged them and they said it was fine. They ended up not coming, but they were very accommodating.This is not a river cabin, you can’t see the river or hear the river from the cabin. It is a little hike to the river. The river was also very low so not a good place for fishing when the river is low either. There was a gentleman there when we got there working on an outlet. He was not very welcoming as he stated that we were early. We were trying to get there before storm hit. We were 15 minutes early so we took a walk down to the river, so to let him do what he was doing came back at three before going inside. going up the rail to the porch there’s all kinds of spiderwebs and spiders on the rail and around the gate latch. There was also no AC on when we arrived to the place it was about 80 inside. It was a very hot summer day and made unpacking a little miserable. also took all night long for the cabin to cool down. Place could use a little more cleaning also . But we made them most of it and had a great time. Thanks for letting us stay .

Communication with the host was amazing and they were always quick to respond. This was everything we wanted in a peaceful place to stay. The fireflies displays at night were magnificent. Not to mention the various other woodland creatures that visited the property Groundhogs, baby turkeys, huge salamander, turtle and tons of birds. If you’re into bird watching this place is amazing. Also the river was very easy to find and looked spectacular. Everything in the place was super clean. AC system worked great and the hot tub was perfect after long hikes. While there we used the coffee maker, grill, washing machine , dryer and stove all worked great. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the pillows were also great. This place was really close to grocery stores and other places to go out to eat and drink. Not to mention it’s also an easy drive to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. Even when it rained for a few days it was great sitting outside on the screened in porch and listen to the rain , I had no problems finding the place with my GPS. While the drive way is pretty steep, I had no problem getting in and out with my truck. We all enjoyed it so much here , I can’t wait to book it again for next year !
