We had stayed at Wilderness before but in the hotel part. We chose to do the 2 bedroom suite for more room and a kitchen. Our room was great! Super clean and well decorated. It was almost too nice as my son barely wanted to leave the room 😂😂. The kitchen was stocked well with all the supplies needed to make a meal. There was a washer and dryer which was great! The tub in the master was great!! There were big drawers and plenty of place to store your things. Just FYI there is no daily housekeeping but we don’t normally have cleaners clean our room daily anyways so that was no big deal for us. We were on the bottom level so we didn’t have a nice view but we also didn’t have to worry about our child running around and disturbing the people below us so that was a nice perk! We only occasionally heard the people above us and it was only if a child was running or they were moving furniture. I felt like it was quieter than most other places we have stayed at. Noise doesn’t really bother us as we expect noise at any hotel and especially one geared towards families but I know that’s an important thing to some travelers. We travel from Kansas City just for the amazing waterparks and arcades offered here. The only negatives were they didn’t have our room ready until about 5pm (which happens at other places too) and that most of the waterparks are not really close enough to walk to. I was well aware of this when I booked this suite. They do offer a shuttle but they only come every 15-20 minutes so that can add on 40 minutes onto one trip to the waterparks. We just drove over in our car when we didn’t feel like waiting. So although staying in the hotel part prior made it easier to get to the waterparks I think we will always book suites from now on as they are huge, beautiful and we saved a ton of money cooking in the room.

We LOVED our stay in this 2 bedroom condo at Glacier Canyon! We have 3 kids, ages 1, 2, and 4. I was able to put them all in the bedroom with the twin beds. My 4yo slept in a bed and my younger two slept in pack n plays (one between bed and wall and one next to dresser). I could've easily fit two more pack n plays in that room if necessary, it's much larger than the photo makes it seem! The condo was very clean and all the necessities were stocked. We greatly appreciated the washer and dryer in unit, I didn't think we would need it but we used it 4 times! The spa tub in the master bedroom is just wonderful. Perfect way to relax after a fun day in the Dells. This unit is right down the hall from one of the bars (Canyon Ridge Tap Room) and arcade, which was really nice! The ONLY con we experienced is that this condo is at the very far end of the entire Wilderness property so it's quite a long walk to the waterparks. You can drive or take the shuttle (runs every 20 min or so), but we walked every time because of our massive double stroller. I highly recommend checking out all the waterparks during your stay! We had so much fun and will most definitely be renting this condo again in the future!!

This was our second trip to The Wilderness and second stay at Glacier Canyon. The room is great!! Clean, spacious and we love it!! The only downside is how far away from the water parks it is. It's quiet a far walk but still worth it to us. The check in process was slightly annoying as they make you talk to the Wyndham people who heavily pressure you to try to go to the buy into the property time share program. They really pressure you and don't take no for an answer. It's rather annoying when you just arrived after travel and just want to get to your room. Our other disappointment was one of the three water parks was closed for the majority of our stay which we were not aware of. And all of the restaurants on the resort close down base on how many guests are staying there. We went during the week to avoid crowds but ended up not being able take advantage of a lot of the restaurants due to closures. Other than that, we had a great stay. Love the water park and the resort!!
