Welcome to Peridot by the Shore. Adjacent to The Peridot Retreat and a great space for family enjoyment after a long day of exploring. It boosts a beautiful kitchen for family feasts and a separate living room for relaxing. This space has a private deck and features a walking path to the shore. Very clean property overall with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed watching the fireworks for Canada Day over Rocky Harbour on the back deck. Nicely located in Rocky Harbour within walking distance of many nearby shops and restaurants. Yvonne was a good and communicative host. Check-in time of 5 pm is a bit later than typical for VRBO.

We were all very impressed with this great house in a perfect location. Sunset views were spectacular from the rear deck. The house was perfect for a 3 day stay in the area. Beds were very comfortable. We were 3 couples so we did need to be cognizant of 1 bathroom but we made it work. 1 suggestion might be different colour towels for each room. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. Communication with the host was effortless and we received responses for any questions we had very quickly. We had an amazing time in the area. The Tablelands hikes were spectacular. There is a great restaurant in Trout River called the Seaside restaurant that I highly recommend. Driving up the coast north on the Viking trail offered up some absolutely gorgeous views and nice stops along the way. We all had fun at the Anchors Away show in town. All in all an amazing start to our 12 day exploration of Newfoundland. I highly recommend this place.
