A very romantic space! The perfect atmosphere for the writer or artist.The large, open great room is inviting for yoga and exercise practice. A former church, this renovation has maintained a peaceful and meditative quality.A good place to make or listen to music. .Small back porch with a table and chairs.,Dogs are very welcome and the back porch area has a fenced in area they seem to like!!!!.Pretty bathroom with shower. The kitchen counter was once the counter in the old country store in the village of Lawsonham.The woodwork is beautiful and the high ceilings give one the feeling of freedom .The many windows invite the outside in. Come and rest a while, create, enjoy! So very close to the Lawsonham Rails to Trails entrance.Great opportunity for hiking and bicycling.!

Well appointed, charming place to stay if you enjoy solitude and nature. Sipping morning tea while watching the deer graze and their fawns play was lovely. Exploring the property and listening to the babbling stream made a pleasant little outing. Plenty to do in the area for the nature lovers. Great history and certainly different from cookie cutter hotels.

Much can be said about our stay.I personally loved seeing the wildlife.Creative and unique place to stay!Eventually you'll have to leave but enjoy your stay while there and if you have a furry companion or two like we did, they will enjoy the fenced in backyard and roomy living area! Lots to do inside with books and games, pamphlets for things to do around the area if you aren't familiar!

I really liked the place. It is very quiet! Saw deer in the yard 3 times. Lots of room. I do like a hard mattress and this mattress is very soft. That's just an opinion so not a knock on the place. If you want to cook, there is every utensil you could possibly need. If I visited the area again, I'd stay here again.

The chapel that became a home is like a museum of art from different times and medium. The property includes walking paths which were excellent for adults and our dog that needed to expend his energy.Deer and turkey including chicks were fun to see.While the .4 mile by road to the rail trail is a steep down hill and a tough climb, we found it exhilarating one way and a test of stamina the other way!
