The house is located in the picturesque “Quartier de Bau” in the village of Frontenay, population 170, overlooking the 14th-century Château de Frontenay. The little Saint-Vincent River flows right next to the property. The landscaped garden, complete with a gazebo and seating areas, invites you to relax. The rooms, most of which were renovated in 2004, are beautiful and tastefully furnished and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. The recently furnished, fully equipped, spacious kitchen is perfect for cooking and socializing. The garden’s fresh herbs add to the success of your meals. In the adjacent wooded areas, you’ll find morels in the spring, mushrooms in early summer, and porcini mushrooms. In late summer and fall, you can find mushrooms, trumpet mushrooms, black trumpets, etc.*** Garden of Eden.

Wir fühlten uns in diesem Haus,das wir Anfang September 2009 für eine Woche gebucht hatten, auf Anhieb " sauwohl " . Das lag einerseits wohl an der persöhnlichen Note des Vermieters,was uns das Gefühl gab,zu Hause zu sein-die gut ausgestattete Küche lud förmlich zum Kochen ein,der Garten-eine Refugium zum Entspannen und Erholen.Anderseits verwöhnte uns die Sonne reichlich und an der Landschaft konnte man sich einfach nicht satt sehen ! Wandern,radeln auf wunderschönen,fast autofreien Nebenstrassen,schwimmen am Lac de Chalain ect. -das macht Lust auf mehr !
