About this condo rental
Located in Orange Beach, this charming condo for $1,029 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Phoenix West 1009 This is a premium unit offered at below a select units price!!! New furniture! A keyless entry door lock so you do not have to keep up with any keys!! Phoenix West is one of the most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and each bedroom. With over 2,600 sq ft the unit is very spacious and newly furnished. The unit is professional decorated with full-size stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, wet bar with ice maker, 70” flat screen HDTV in living room with 50'' flat panel TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a king sized bed in three of the bedrooms and two queens in the fourth!!! There is also 2 sleeper sofa Queens in the living room and four twin rollaway beds should you need more space to sleep 17 total. There is a lazy river, water slide, outdoor pool with a fenced-in kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, 4 saunas and roof-top tennis courts. There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation. Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $52 per vehicle. Any 4br unit you rent at Phoenix West guarantees you can purchase up to THREE parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but do not expect to be able to purchase an extra pass during the summer season.

The condo was big and layed out very well, the only issue we had was it was very dirty, after 2 hours the kids feet was black with dirt, took pictures and sent to property manager on Sunday got a response on Monday with sorry about it being cleaned do you want me to send crew back to clean, this should not have been asked and I did not respond, The pool and staff was great and helpful. Just not very clean.

The room itself was spacious with attractive furnishings. The location was excellent as were the complexes facilities. The beach was outstanding and clean. The main problem was the interior care of the condo. The floor was filthy upon arrival. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets had no baseboards (weird) and underneath them was so much junk and filth including a rotten apple which was not ours along with a dirty pair of underwear not ours either. The refrigerator had cracked shelves and leaked all over the floor. There was only ONE dishcloth and no storage bowls for leftover food. All in all it was a great room but someone needs to follow up on the cleaning crew.

The condo was as advertised. The balcony and view were amazing.It definitely could use a deep clean, if you didn't have something on your feet they would be black. There was black mold in master shower and the paint was peeling off the kitchen drawers. I rented this condo mainly because of the amenities the lazy river, slide and indoor pool but please note if there is lightning they close the indoor pool also. But overall I recommend this condo.

Beautifully decorated. Plenty of comfortable furniture. Huge corner balcony. Small things need addressing, but nothing that would spoil our stay… light was out in laundry room, broken broom so we couldn’t sweep, paint peeling on kitchen drawers and toaster control knobs broken off. I’m sure the toaster, light bulbs and broom would’ve been addressed if we had called, but like I mentioned earlier, those were small things that wasn’t going to impact our stay that much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again without hesitation.

This property was beautiful, roomy & almost perfect. There were a couple of hiccups but one of my sons was able to repair one issue w/one of the toilets the first day. The owners need to add more coffee cups ( there were only 5 and our group of coffee lovers numbered 13) but overall it was great. Lots of good new memories made.

Easy booking staff friendly! Condo was very spacious and roomy! Loved the balcony and being able to see dolfins and even sharks! Do need to bring your kitchen towels and even pot holders there was none. Fridge slightly had a leak But plenty of furnished ice in room!

Very nice layout. Loved having access to walk the beach, float in the lazy river, and hit the pool. Then relax on the deck with all the comforts of home. Also many great restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

The place was beautifully decorated and clean. This condo had 3 roll away beds which was perfect for my grandkids and the two sofa sleepers. Our week was perfect

Easy to get to pool and ocean. Lazy River and slide entertained the kids the whole trip. Traffic wasn’t bad and plenty of nice restaurants close by!

We share this getaway with 3 other couples. This was our 4th year of doing this. This unit was very nice. The three swivel-rocking-recliners were a hit. For the most part, it was super. There were a couple issues when we arrived, but Charlotte took care of them quickly. And the door code changed and she also corrected that fairly quickly. Two things to pass on to Charlotte, the microwave needs the roller-ring that's missing and the queen size bed we slept in was made up with king size sheets. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

There were missing shelves in fridge and one was cracked and fell on the floor as soon as we opened the door upon arrival. The outside of the fridge was also not very clean. Right side drain in master bath sink was slow to drain. I think some attention needs to be taken care of in the kitchen. Floor was pretty dirty.
Other than that the accommodations were satisfactory.

Great view with large balcony. 4 family visit. Never felt crowded. So roomy we sometimes lost each other. Crews were constantly cleaning the surrounding facilities. Ice maker in bar area was nice for filling small ice chests for the day. Very large walk in pantry for storing food and supplies for the week. Only negative I’d say was parking. 4 family visit and only allowed 3 parking spaces and facility would not let us pay for an extra. Parking garage was never full.

Loved the ice maker in the bar. Had an issue with one of the air conditioners motor going out. Called and it was promptly fixed. The service man was excellent. Loved the patio furniture nice to sit on balcony and watch the gulf. Pool area was great. All in all we had a great time.

Loved the balcony! Excellent seating and enough for all 10 of us! One of the king beds was very uncomfortable. Some upkeep needed (screen doors ripped and completely off hinges, lamp light bulbs needing replacement, ripped shower curtains, etc).
Overall, great location! Loved the back deck but paled in comparison to other condos in the Phoenix West and Phoenix West II. Prob would not rent again. For the price we paid, I expected a very comfortable bed and that nothing would be ripped or in disarray. We notified the property manager and did not get a reply.
