About this house rental
The Tuttle House is part of the Halcyon estate, a property consisting of 3.5 acres with nearly 900' of private shoreline. The house was constructed in 2006 and has all the amenities of contemporary living. It is fully furnished; you only need bring linens. The Tuttle House has its own private 40' by 8' dock for your swimming, sunning & boat tie-up needs. Also on the property are sandy beaches, picnic tables, a swimming raft, gazebo, fire pit, dock space, and sweeping views of the lake. The house is winterized for year round use. Conveniently located off of Route 9N (Lake Shore Drive), the Tuttle House is just one mile north of Lake George Village with its many restaurants, shops, and activities.

Beautiful property with 900 ft of shoreline, dock space, and 270 W/N/S views overlooking Lake George Village.We brought 2 jet skis and a 21' boat—plenty of dock room (confirm availability with the owner). Water ranges from 3 ft near shore to 10 ft at the end, perfect for hanging out. South of the dock is a peninsula with a bench overlooking the lake; the next peninsula has a large firepit area that seats about 10. On the eastern edge, there’s a small beach area ideal for kids. As long as you exercise care around the water, this property is perfect for allowing kids to explore and play outdoor games and it feels like your own personal resort. Firepit / Smores...need I say more?*Bugs/ticks are pointed out in the handbook, bring spray.Tip: Don’t tie jet skis tight to the dock; the height/gap causes rubbing. Tie the stern and let the wind pull the bow out.The house is exactly as shown, with lake views from the deck and front windows. 3 BR up; 1 BA up, 1 BA down, & W/D up. The open kitchen/living area with fireplace is great for groups, and there’s a cozy alcove across from the family room that’s perfect for curling up with a book.Bring your own sheet and pillowcase sets (2 Queen, 2 Twin) and bath/hand/wash towels. I missed the very clear instructions—thankfully, stores in Glens Falls are only a 15‑minute drive.All appliances and the gas grill worked well.God willing, we’ll be back in 2027. I can’t imagine finding a better spot anywhere else on the lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tuttle Home, which provided everything we needed. We met Lisa (one of the owners) who also lives on the property; she introduced us to her 2 dogs who visited us daily in hopes that my husband would throw the ball or a stick for them to fetch. :) There is also another rental, but the 3 homes are situated in a way where you have your privacy, which included our own dock where we enjoyed, relaxing and taking in the views. Thank you Lisa & Becky for an enjoyable vacation!

The property is gorgeous! Many points of access to the lake, each with their own charm and beauty. We were greeted enthusiastically when we were exploring the property and offered a tour of the grounds and info on local dining etc. The house is beautiful, clean, and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, appliances, as well as lots of other basics, the living room has a gas fireplace that is very easy to use and was a nice addition to a rainy evening. There's a great fire-pit outside with seating. A gazebo. Little sandy beaches, a dock with seating, and there are beautiful views of the lake from almost everywhere! An amazing, therapeutic getaway with so much nature and beauty and all the comforts of home. Our hosts were lovely and easily accessible at all times. The main strip with restaurants and shopping etc is literally just a few minutes drive away. We can't wait to go back!
