About this condo rental
***Not pictured, as of November 2022 new furniture in living room*** South Seas Club of Marco Island is a beautiful beachfront condo. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets, shelling, swimming, and fishing on three and one half mile of exquisite white sandy beach. For the adventurer, water activities such as jet-skiing, parasailing, and windsurfing are available within minutes of the complex. Located close to Marco Island are the Florida Everglades. Here one can ride a swamp buggy, airboat, or explore other excursions. There is also an abundance of shopping to choose from in the area from Marco's quaint shops to the upscale Fifth Avenue in Naples. Marco Island also has an enormous array of restaurants ranging from fine dining to fast food. The numerous waterfront restaurants are local hangouts. Common laundry located on each and every floor for guests to use while here at a minimal fee. Registration/Parking fee of $100(subject to change) due upon arrival for the full stay per vehicle.

The condo was all new. Did a great job with furnishings and decor. TVs are all great. Kitchen well stocked. The complex is in a great location and the amenities are endless! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We have stayed on Marco for many years in a variety of units all in South Seas Tower IV. 1601 is a wonderful, renovated unit with great views and a great kitchen. Overall, a great place to stay.

The unit was very nice but by no means beachfront. The access and parking attendant was extremely annoying. It was not security but more lunacy. The walk to beach is over half mile

The grounds of the property are well maintained and centrally located to great restaurants and shopping. Condo itself is in need of a deep clean (baseboards, shower tile, shower heads, light switches, were all quite dirty) and bed linens could use an upgrade. Biggest takeaway are the excessive and brutally enforced pool rules. This property's ameneties are far from family friendly. Pool rules state no balls, no jumping, no food. The "security guard" at the pool during the day was ruthless in her enforcement of said rules, but it seems that she liked to pick and choose who to enforce them with. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is the property is NOT family friendly. There are plenty of condos to stay at on Marco Island. I would highly consider researching others befoew booking at South Seas if you want a family friendly atmosphere.

1601 Tower 4 was a spectacular property!!! It was more than fully equipped, super clean and with a great view of Marco out the front door and the gulf out the back door. Wonderful sunsets!! It is quite a hike to the beach, though.We usually rent a house with a pool and prefer it to fighting for pool loungers, waiting for elevators and carts to haul things up and down. It’s just our personal preference. The property was well secured and very clean.

Great room, great views, and great property. The only issue was the cost of parking.
Great room with great views. The room has everything needed for the beach and more. Highly recommend this unit. Only issue with the room was low water pressure in the master bedroom. Issue with the resort is the cost of parking for the week is $100 (which we knew as we stayed here last year). However, we had a visitor drive down and visited for two days. The resort required $100 for our visitor to stay for two days. It was not prorated.

We had been booked in another condo and they had a renovation during the time we were there. We were offered this condo instead. The inside of the condo was nice- probably could use a deep clean though. The big issue we had was the pool was closed the entire time we were there with no access to other pool in complex. During May and no pool, is not great!

Once again, we had a wonderful time on Marco Island staying in the South Seas towers. The unit we rented was beautiful. It is modern, has outstanding views and was very comfortable. While the walk to the beach from this building is a bit longer, the views are definitely worth it. We will return.

I never stayed in an such beautiful , well stocked condo ! It was amazing ! The only bad thing was the long walk in the heat to the beach ! But we sucked it up 😍we are not pool people when we go on vacation ! We recon and this condo and we hope we will be back soon 👍

Lately, the AC was not able to reach desired setting and should be inspected. Otherwise access to pool, beach and restaurants was good. A few adjustments could have changed our stay experience from okay to very good.

My family and I have stayed at Marco Island many times and enjoy returning. Overall we enjoyed this condo and it’s location. Everything is within 10 minutes. It would be helpful to encourage guests to rent a car directly from the airport as stressing about transportation is no fun. The beach equipment was perfect and so great to have on hand. The island felt very safe and was very clean/beautiful.

I’ve visited Marco (and South Seas condos) many times. Marco is a great —quiet vacation. This South Seas unit is very nice. Very nice remodel. No complaints albeit the bed was a bit firm for my taste. I would definitely return and I’m very picky.
