About this cottage rental
Ask about our great sea adventures with our licensed STCW certified Captains !!!! Captainkidtours.com Best pricing in town on day trips out on the Ocean. Snorkeling, Island exploring, Beach Picnics,Swimming Pigs, Ocean Swings, Swimming with and feeding stingrays Swimming with and feeding sea turtles), or Fishing all available. The house is built in the old colonial island architectural style. The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs with each having its own private bath. The master has a king bed and faces the beach and ocean with a sliding glass door leading out on to the balcony. Queen beds in the other 2 with each having its own bathroom. Downstairs you will find the house has a large living area and kitchen all in one, with 10 ft ceiling that has great view of Ocean and Beach with 2 sliding glass doors leading out on to the porch followed by a 500 sq ft deck the deck. There is also another bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and another bath and laundry. To get to the island you fly into North Eleuthera Airport. The airport code is ELH. We will arrange your transportation from the airport to the island with a shuttle company. Cost is only $20 per adult for both land and water Taxi and takes about 10 minute in Taxi followed by a 10 minute Ferry ride. Someone will meet you at the Ferry dock and take you to the house. Flights are easily available from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, Atlanta and Nassau. The airlines that service the island are Delta, American, United, Silver Airways

We enjoyed our stay at Captain Jodie and Tara’s beach house - they always have great hospitality! The house is very roomy, tastefully decorated and has a very well equipped kitchen. The views of the beach are stunning, especially from the second floor master bedroom. The beach setup is great with plenty of chairs and includes kayaks.
Be sure to go on a boat charter with Captain Kid and Son - so much fun.

Me and my husband stayed here for 1 week and already can’t wait to go back! It was our favorite vacation. Tara was such a great host and made everything so easy from meeting us at the dock to help with our luggage to responding to every question we had so quickly. The house was perfect and had everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the floating docks and kayaks and the beach is absolutely gorgeous! We can’t wait to visit again!

Book this house and you won't be disappointed! Right on the beach with a gradual slope into the ocean was a perfect introduction for our toddler children. Plus there are barely any people around, so you will feel like you are on your own private island. This is our second time staying here and we will be back again as quickly as we can. The hosts (Tara & Capt. Jody) are super-professional and very accommodating. Everything was taken care of and the island is amazing, very easy to get to, and with a large grocery store plus excellent bars/restaurants, you will not want to leave!

Our family of 8 enjoy this house and location very much. The house and beach setup were very nice. We enjoyed the floating dock, chairs under the shade screen and hammocks. Owners were quick to respond to our questions. We’d definitely stay here again.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else at this point. Beach front access, beautiful home. Wonderful amenities for adults and kids right in front of the house. Highly recommend!

It was paradise! Having never rented a house I was so grateful that the hosts were so hands on. They met us at the ferry dock with our golf cart. They handled our luggage and let us follow them to the beach house. The house was spacious and immaculate, I have never seen such a well stocked kitchen with every dish, cup , pot, pan and utensil you could wish for. The outside deck was so large and had a gas grill. The views of the beach and water were amazing from the upstairs balcony. They had a full set up on the beach with lots of chairs and chaise lounges. They also had two kayaks for our use. We enjoyed paddling around the tiny uninhabited islands in front of the unit. I didn’t want to leave this paradise and I hope to stay here in the future. Also the hosts were kind enough to make all our transportation arrangements to the airport upon our departure.

We had such a wonderful stay over Christmas with our kids. The house and yard were decorated beautifully for the holiday, the house was clean and very well stocked and organized and the location is up notch. The beach was outfitted with plenty of lounge chairs to relax for the day and the kids loved playing with the kayaks and paddle board. At night the cafe lights down by the beach added the most perfect touch. We had a wonderful stay and cannot say enough about how perfect this house was.

This property is fantastic! It is very comfortable and is represented accurately. The views are amazing and the location is perfect. Access to what seems to be an almost private beach is a 100ft walk away! Property has end-of-road privacy but is still very close to various restaurants, grocery, and harbour activities. Hosts are very easy to contact and are willing to help with questions regarding the property on anything else to improve your stay. We used one of their other houses on our first stay in Spanish Wells and this one was even better.

From landing at ELH to enjoying the house everything was perfect!! Jody and Tara do a great job of arranging all transportation. There were 10 in our party ranging from 72 yrs old to 9 and they handled us all with ease. We rented 2 houses for our group and everything was fabulous. The beach set up had everything we needed also! We love Eleuthera but Spanish Wells was a real gem. Easy for our larger party to get around and run to the grocery or out to eat. We loved wreckers for lunch and papa scoops for dessert. The island was decorated so fun for Christmas. Tara and Jody also decorated there property decorated, so fun! Someone mentioned how nice it is to rent from someone on the island and that statement stands very true. The Pinder family does it right. Can’t wait to come back!

Great Stay and Experience
We had a great stay at this house. The house was a great size for two families and the location was perfect - quiet, low-key, safe and family friendly. The view was gorgeous from the decks, and the beach is right there! The hosts were helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this house and location, and we hope to be back soon!

It’s stocked with everything you might need including all the little things like extra bug spray, beach towels, floats, etc. My husband loved having access to the toys (especially the Hobie Cat) and we enjoyed using the kayaks one day. I loved having my coffee out on the master balcony with the amazing view and it also is in a great spot to watch the beautiful sunsets. This section of beach is really private and we often had it to ourselves. Jodi and Tara were so responsive and sweet and we also enjoyed our charter excursion through them (Captain Kid & Sons). We actually went out twice! Highly recommend!!

Annual vacation in paradise
We have been visiting Summer Sunset for six years and absolutely love this bit of paradise. Jody and Tara are amazing hosts, are easy to work with and great at communicating. Tara's pie or muffins are always a special treat when we arrive! The cottage is spotlessly clean with everything you would need for your stay. Jody and Tara keep the grounds and cottages maintained and updated with new beach chairs, appliances and daily yard and beach cleanup. We couldn't ask for a better experience! Highly recommend!

Another fantastic vacation!
Can't top the experience of staying at Summer Sunset in friendly Spanish Wells. The house is large and roomy for friends and family. We had a vov renewal and it accommodated everyone. Jody and Tara went above and beyond in helping us organize the day. The boat trips with Jody and Captain Todd always make memories. We don't even want to go anywhere else anymore!

Peaceful Paradise
Summer Sunset was everything and more than we expected. We loved the house, everything in it, the views and closeness to the beach.
It had lots of space, the best cooking utensils, spices, a grill, hot water to last for 5 people showering back to back, ductless a.c units in every room, TV's in every room and more than enough beach and bath towels. My one and only suggestion would be to get a water cooler for the 5 gallon bottles (probably because we have one at home and it is just so much more convenient for children to get their own water to drink).

We really enjoyed our experience with the hosts, Tara and Jody. They are super responsive and great hosts. Tara even brought by some of the most delicious muffins I have ever eaten one morning. She also gave us mangoes when we were on Jody’s boat on our way to snorkel (highly recommend). The kayaking and snorkeling just off this property is amazing as are the views from the house. The house was nicely stocked, clean, and comfortable, and the beds were also comfortable. An awesome place to stay!

Great house, location, and hosts!
We really enjoyed our experience with the hosts, Tara and Jody. They are super responsive and great hosts. Tara even brought by some of the most delicious muffins I have ever eaten one morning. She also gave us mangoes when we were on Jody’s boat on our way to snorkel (highly recommend). The kayaking and snorkeling just off this property is amazing as are the views from the house. We have never had more fun and the private trip was customized to our family by Captain Kayston. He was great. So great that we ended up booking a third trip out with him to go fishing again! I could go on and on about this trip, it was fantastic.
