This is a lovely apartment and very nicely updated. The location was very convenient for a visit to BC (<20 min walk). The owner was very responsive and provided clear directions to the reserved parking spot which was also very helpful. Would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Located in an old building, the apartment was clean and met our expectations as it reflected exactly the description and photographs posted on the VRBO site. Three train stations within 5 minutes walk from the apartment took us to downtown Boston or Harvard in 20 minutes. Our car was in a safe parking spot, 2 minutes walk from apartment and included in the rental price. Owner was always available, polite and informative. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Exactly as advertised. Great location with easy access to public transportation into downtown Boston. The communication with Greg was awesome. He provided us with recommendations for everything! The property was spotless with all the amenities you could need. We would highly recommend.

Condo is in great location easy to get on and off subways trans buses whatever you needed was a nice area. Would go back and stay again. Owner was very easy to get a hold of and was very helpful

Easy access to T, BC, restaurants

My wife and I came here with our best friends for a week vacation without kids (we each have littles 4 years old and under). It was the perfect retreat. The condo is beautifully updated with a wolf range and sub-zero fridge. The beds are incredibly comfortable and all the rest of the accommodations were similarly excellent. The location of the condo is perfect for access to the Green line. From there you can get pretty much anywhere in town very easily. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This condo is a great find! This is a lovely Boston Brownstone with a high end kitchen and upscale furnishings. We were very comfortable. My husband and I used a combination of Uber rides and trains to get around the city for 6 days. The owner provides great information for out-of-towners and is very responsive to any questions that come up.

We had an excellent time in Boston and the condo was excellent and exactly as depicted on VRBO. Greg was easy to communicate with, responsive and helpful on any questions we had. Location was great for our needs and convenient to two different lines on the “T”. Only slight negative was we were “too” close to the BC T Line. If your a light sleeper and need perfect silence, the road and train noise could be disruptive. With the box fan in the unit for white noise, this was a non-issue for us.

My daughter was scheduled for surgery and we needed to stay local for follow up. This location was perfect for us, especially with the parking spot and being pet friendly. My family enjoyed our stay. Easy check-in. Apartment was clean and contained everything we needed during our stay. Located close to train for easy access to city, and easy walking distance to cafes/diners. Parking spot nearby and convenient.

The pictures of the condo don't really do it justice, the space is modern while still being really homey. Don't let the condition of the stairs throw you off, the space is great. We didn't do a whole lot of cooking but the kitchen had most of the basics you needed, the shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was super comfy. The T is right down stairs with a quicker line right around the corner. I came in the middle of a snow storm but still managed to travel the city. Greg is a great host, he even gave me a ride to the Isabella Stanley Gardner museum after he stopped by to fix a few things. I would definitely stay again.

Very clean, with all the right accommodations. Greg was responsive and very thoughtful with correspondence. Though it was a quick trip and we didn’t cook while we were there, the kitchen was very inviting to do so! We didn’t need public transportation, but had we, it looked very convenient and accessible. Lovely place, we’d definitely stay there again!

My entire family was very impressed by the property and the owner - who took the time before our trip to answer questions and provide suggestions, and kept in contact with me during our stay to make sure everything was in order. My kids were sad to leave "their building" by the end of our stay, and loved listening to the train come and go. Super close to the Green T Line, and easy parking for a rental car. Very comfortable beds and the kids loved the Netflix! Thanks again for everything.

The Master bedroom mistress was absolutely five star quality. The bathroom shower is spar quality absolutely loved it. Insure if you park on the street pay attention to the street sweeping schedule. Best to leave your car park for your visit an use public transportation. Nice restaurants with in walking distance. You can't beat the price for the quality of the Condo.

Three of us had a wonderful three-night stay at this condo. Very clean and well maintained. The free parking spot was very convenient and a must have if you have a vehicle as street parking is impossible in Boston. Very safe neighborhood with lots of personality. Our stay was at the end of April/beginning of May and flowering shrubs and bulbs were on display everywhere. So beautiful as you walked the neighborhood. Our favorite restaurant was @Chilli Thai Bistro just a block away. Excellent food and very affordable. Public transit was a breeze with 2 stations just a few blocks away. We also loved the sound of the train as it passed by the front of the condo and would keep the windows open just to be able to hear it. The owner was very responsive and replied immediately to any questions we had. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, etc., and there were plenty of extra linens. The condo itself is beautiful with very nice furniture, updated kitchen and bathroom, and very spacious. If ever back in Boston, we would definitely stay here again.

The loft was very comfortable and beautiful. The 46 step stair climb was a great work out. Parking wasn't super convenient.

I make it a point of always booking this apartment when in Boston visiting my daughter, a BC student. The location could not be better, the unit is very cool, very comfortable. Greg has always been an attentive host. The parking that Greg provides is pure gold. Two things to know going in. If you are a light sleeper you will be aware of the Green Line just outside on Commonwealth Ave. Also the climb up to this 4th floor Unit which is quite steep and narrow is not for everybody. As for me, I hope to continue using this residence on my return trips to Boston.

We came to Boston for a convention and had no experience with renting an apartment. The owner had everything ready for us, down to small details like jelly in the refrigerator. Great having the T very close by. It's also close to many restaurants and convenience stores, there is a 7-11 nearby. Overall this is much better than staying at a hotel, especially if you have a family. Only negatives are the building is old and so there is no elevator, worked out ok for us, but if you have someone elderly or with a walking disability may not work out for you, cheers!

Greg was more than accommodating with all of our questions. The directions he provided on entry and the ins and outs of living here were impeccable. The place was very clean and easily accommodated 4 adults. Enough cookware to make a decent meal and Netflix to hang and watch movies. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Greg!

The "exercise plan" refers to the fact that this is 4 flights up! The owner has put a lot of work into this unit, and we did enjoy our stay. Two bedroom is a little loose in the description, as one is simply a partially screened-off area from the main room of the unit. We enjoyed above normal temperatures for mid-October, which meant open windows for ventilation. You will hear the trolley late and early with them open. That is a plus; the Green Line (B, C and D) is convenient. The Green B is what is outside in front of the building, with C and D a block apart just 5 minutes down Chestnut Hill Ave. If you are just there to visit your student at Boston College, the T might not be important to you. But the owner provides Charlie Cards which you put money onto to pay for your trips. The big plus is off-street parking; a single space across Commonwealth Ave. behind a house. Otherwise, you may be blocks away before you find street parking, as one side of every street is resident's parking only. One-way streets will add to your confusion while you hunt! While we never actually cooked a meal, the kitchen and appliances are up to date, including a dishwasher. While strictly one-at-a-time, the bathroom is adequate, with a generous shower stall. There is a nice-sized flat screen TV, but the cable provider keeps posting messages to upgrade their box! This unit is only about 6 miles from the I-95, so if you are planning to be in areas south (Foxboro, Brockton, etc.), like we were, it is a really good location.
