Air conditioning

To start with there was a girl working at the reception desk who was unpleasant, unfriendly and unwilling to work. We asked her please and almost begged her that we were going to be 3 hours waiting for a taxi after check out at 12 noon. She didn't look for a solution, nor did she care about the suffocating heat we were going to spend during this time. She doesn't say hello in the morning and on top of that she serves breakfast by sticking her fingers in her mouth on the plates. Completely disaster. The room had spiders, holes in the wall in bad condition and rusty. The pool was not cleaned and the water was cloudy. There are only two hammocks so if you are lucky you can lie on the floor or not enjoy the peace and quiet. The noise between rooms was horrendous, it seems that you are in the other room because they are not soundproofed. High price for the poor quality and for this young and despot lady we met. Please find attached pictures.

Staff was very welcoming. Reception was open 24/7. Very cute room walking distance from center of Ubud. (10-15 min).

Lovely room and nice staff

The room was nice and spacious and the staff was lovely. The pool was also great. It was small but for the number of rooms, it was enough. We even had it to ourselves a few times.

Breakfast selection isn't great but it was nice enough. The street it's on is also not the greatest, but it's a short walk from the town center so it wasn't a massive issue.

Шикарный бассейн с видом на джунгли, и не менее шикарный вид на красивые растения из номера, завтраки просто супер, можно ежедневно выбирать, что хочешь съесть - от скрэмбла и сэндвича, до фруктового боула и индонезийских завтраков (рис/макароны с яйцом), завтраки разнообразные и очень вкусные, подаются также различного вида булочки и джемы, можно выбрать свежий смузи или слайсы фруктов, просто супер) На входе плавают замечательные карпы Кои, есть место где поставить байк

Немного уставали ходить пешком до центральных улиц вечером обратно, но если целый день ездить на байке, то вечером силы остаются и дорога до отеля не кажется изнуряющей

Sleeping closed by the beautiful jungle

The Pesaren Ubud is a nice place where to stay in Ubud. It should be renovated but it is still nice. It is a bit far away from the Ubud city center (10 minutes walking) but really closed to the jungle! The staff is great and the breakfast is delicious! Every morning you can choose between 4 different types of breakfast and, if needed, they prepare for you a breakfast box.

As said above, I think the place should be renovated and also walls are very thin and do not protect from noise.

excellent stay

the property is delicious, very elegant and the rooms are spacious. Having only 8 rooms, the hotel is very private and accommodating. The staff is very nice and gentle, they helped us find a driver for the day at very good prices and also provided a good laundry service. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of choices and excellent service. Location is 10 minutes from ubud center and main restaurants in the area.

Super cosy resort in the heart of Ubud, yet peaceful and tranquil despite being so close to the main area.

Lovely little resort with very cosy vibes and super helpful staff. Breakfast was perfectly sufficient and they went above and beyond to cater for one of us who is vegetarian. Breakfast box provided on mornings when heading off early for tours.

An insane amount of ants for the first few days. Some lizards too which made our time uncomfortable at times as we aren’t used to them. Whatever happened after day 3 of our stay, the ants disappeared and we began to enjoy our stay a lot more. Not sure if cleaning staff did something but if they did then they should do it all the time.

All one great and unforgettable beauty!

Absolutely amazing and lovely staff. We really remember everyone who made our vacation a wonderful stay in Ubud. Beautifully clean, incredibly good and rich breakfast, wonderful view of the jungle. Quiet place with walking distance to the center. One of the nicest places we visited in Bali. Quiet beautiful and romantic place. I can warmly recommend. Welcome to Ubud.

hotel needs few upgrades in the room but everything else was nice!

jungle view is incredible from the room. location is very good actually, 5min walk from ubud centre means quiet sleep :) but you can reach all the restaurants and shops quick!

humidity is on another level but it’s no fault of the hotel it’s because of the jungle!

Very nice experience

Breakfast was lovely. Food tasty and extra fruit drink available at low cost. Being so small it was very personal and the location super quiet. No street noise at all.

We wish it was located nearer to the main road. After lots of walking it was quite tiring to have to walk back up the street.

Very good

Good spacious room and comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, good food. Everything was clean and well kept. Also, good communication with staff before check in.

There's not a lot of amenities around but the main street with restaurants, a small supermarket, and bars can be reached in 5 min walking. Sound carries from neighbouring rooms so if you're a light sleeper best to pack some earplugs.

Amazing Place

The Pesaren is a magical place, 2 minutes by scooter from the center of Ubud. It is surrounded by greenery and tranquility, with a swimming pool that overlooks the jungle from above. All the staff is wonderful, young, kind and helpful, always smiling, they constantly work to make you feel at home, the cleanliness is impeccable. Working remotely everything was exceptional, a medium range wifi of 110mbs. The breakfast's were excellent ,with the possibility of choosing each time from 4 options available. A special thanks to Mr Made who has helped us enormously in everything, a very good man every time for doubtful advice or anything, trust him and you will not regret it. Thank you guys!!! Superb

Location is amazing, close to Ubud centre but still really quiet. All the staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good you can choose from 3 options.

A new hairdryer, ours was really slow, my partener was drying her hair for 40 minutes.

Amazing views from the pool!

We stayed at The Pesaren for two night and it was a lovely small hotel with only eight rooms so felt really quiet and tranquil. The pool is lovely and overlooks the jungle so was great to spend time relaxing. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of space. The breakfasts, including the banana pancakes were exceptional, there was lots of fresh fruit and juice, really good.

A stay to remember! :) Very nice and special.

The jungle view from the river rooms is absoluteley amazing, we stayed for 10 nights and I enjoyed the pool as well. staff was very friendly and polite, whenever we wanted they brought is the breakfast on our balcony. Also, the short walk to centre is a big advantage of the hotel. Regarding the breakfast, they have 3 main menus (indonesian, american, continental) from which you can chose each day, I would say it is pretty good.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like, maybe the lizzards which are everywhere in Bali, haha :)
