Relax on the rooftop deck and take in the fantastic ocean views and beautiful sunsets over Jockey's Ridge from this lovely estate in the heart of Nags Head. Enjoy the fabulous private pool, hot tub, covered bar area and bathhouse cabana! After a day at the beach enjoy a friendly game of pool or shuffleboard in the game room! Or if you prefer, this home is close to area restaurants and shopping! Every bedroom is a private suite with a full bath! Second floor "Rocking Chair Porch" with rocking chairs. Pros: This was my first time renting a house in OBX, we were able to get in the house a bit early which was nice. The house was clean and tidy and had all the appliance we would need. The beach access wasn't too far of a drive. Ample driveway space, and trash cans.Cons: However, there was several issues with the house not being well maintained. 1. Description/photos of the pool and hot tube was a bit off in the way they made it look bigger than it was. 2. The Air Intake vent was absolutely disgusting full of dirt and cobwebs, 3. had to call Maintenace for a wobbly celling fan, door lock that was broken and the ground floor had a very bad smell to it. {Maintenace did come next day to fix 2 out of the 3 problems} nothing they could do with basement smell. 4. Outside grill was so dirty we opted not to use it ;( 5. Pool lights were nonfunctional, hot tube cover was broken, several broken screens. Volleyball court grass was not cut. All in all, the rental property was ok, and served its purpose. Not sure I would recommend this property to anyone. Hopefully they will fix and maintain this property better for future guest. Especially for the amount of money one is paying to rent it for a week.

Not at all what I expected. Broken furniture that was not replaced, limited to one set or bath towels for the week, pool lounge chairs stained and digesting, finding dirty wash clothes in pool area, grill was dirty discussing never used. The game room a total disappointment. Pool sticks were broken but couldn’t shoot a game of pool without caution of the windows. Looked bigger in pictures online but so did the place in general. Definitely NOT worth a$12,000.00 for six nights.

Our first trip to OBX was great, we will definitely be returning in the years to come. This house had everything you need for a large family. One call out is that the public beach access is NOT close even though you can see the beach from the house - you will want to get a golf cart or be prepared to drive to the beach, the closest access is about a half mile away. Overall the property was great and I would recommend it for a large family gathering!

Very nice trip. Can only complain about tiny ants in mug cupboard. Not bad enough to call realtor. Rooms made all happy. No easy access to beach. Love 2 fridges, 2 dishwasher, 2 laundry rooms. Would recommend. Loved hot tub and pool. Ice makers didn’t work at first but you have to switch on, Duh. Loved all those porches.

the house was great for our multi-generational family! the highlight is the pool area with grilling station, good sized pool and hot tub. Only issue is the distance from beach access but it'a a nice walk for those in shape and the beach access with parking is not far. Lots to see and do in the area and the beach is not too crowded. the balconies were a hit after a day on the beach or a kayak float. the owner responded quickly for the 1 item we called on (smoke detector beeping) and the staff at Beach Realty were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a large group.

While we enjoyed our vacation, we were slightly dissappointed with the house. There were several things that were broken... The refrigerator on the floor level didn't work and esmelled terrible. One of the dishwashers were broken and it hurt my aunt's foot when she tried to open it. We also couldn't use the gameroom because it was very musty, which was a problem for the guests who were sleeping on that level. While the size of the home and the view of the ocean were nice, there was no convenient beach access which is not well advertised. We will not be renting this property again.

Overall very nice week at the beach, however we experienced several concerns that we simply overlooked during our stay and figured we would report after the week was over. Things we did report AC top level broke the day we arrived (Very responsive on the fix) The Pool area umbrella broke the day we arrived (Simply rusted end of life) A significant ding in one of the bedroom walls ( I reported 1st day) Things I didn't report Ants (mainly Kitchen area) / Broke toilet part (We bought part and fixed) / Dryer on second floor doesn't heat well (run dry cycle twice on heavy duty to get closed to dry) / Noticed some blinds we broke (not a big deal to us just an observation) / Also had one of the folks in our group tell me they had a door handle come off in their hand on one of Bedroom door (not sure where didn't care after the list of things I had been exposed too) / Serious grass growth around pool area on concrete deck (we deweeded by hand some of this) / also noted the grass wasn't cut and kinda tall and the property next door was cut Identical building seemed to be same owner but not sure.Overall the home was nice just has some small issues that should be corrected to help future renters experience be a more positive stay. I am asked if I would recommend this property to a friend right now I'd say no only because it's a steep price to pay for the level of maintenance needed at this property.

The house was not clean upon arrival- our sheets were not delivered, I had to call and request them, playstation did not have any conrollers- we did not get them until wednesday- the pool sticks had no tips- we did not get them until wednesday. the property has a huge ant problem- we ended up buing out own ant spray for the pool area....which caused the ants to move to the kitchen of the home.- it needs a really good cleaning..cupboards inside and out are sticky and had food residue and under furniture was dirty and had lots of food particles.

Overall, it was great. We went with a lot of family members that we do not see on a regular basis so it was good to have 8 master suites. I would definitely stay again in the fall. However, due to beach access, I am not sure I would stay in the summer when I wanted to go to the beach on a daily basis and hall a bunch of things.

Nice size with bathrooms in every bedroom. Access to the beach horrible, 700 yds. Picture in advertisement right before 700 yd. to beach comment was misleading. Thought there was beach access via the house directly across the street. Kitchen very outdated and very small for 16 occupancy. Master bath toilet seat was cracked and pinched your behind every time you sat on it. A lot of sand inside the house. Vacuum cleaner worn out and would not pick up sand. LR furniture warn out and rug was dirty. We had a good time with friends in in spite of these nagging features.

It was a great time with friends in a great house. The issues we had were minor. The sand burs need to be dealt with. Everyone got them attached regardless of the area around the house they walked. The hot tub was fixed in a timely manor as well. The game room could use some updated pool sticks as well. Regardless of what other people do we befriended the family across the street and walked through their property to the beach. If you are an introvert, you have quite a walk to beach access.

We had a mini family reunion/vacation where family was going in from 6 different states. The house was prefect for our size family. The kitchen is a little small for the size of the house. It's only big enough for 2 people working/cooking. The kids really enjoyed the game room & pool, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. There were not many walks on the beach due to the distance of the public access area and the age of the children.The pictures were exactly what the house looked like, with the exception of the porch swing, which was not there.We would rent from beachrealtync again, wonderful staff.

This was the 2nd time staying in this house. Love the house and the location. However, we were disappointed this time to find that the house was not cleaned very well. When we arrived, there was garbage on the upper deck, there were things left under the beds, one bed was broken, and there were ants all over the kitchen counters. The handyman did come quickly to fix the bed and pest control came for the any problem but it persisted throughout our stay.

we had called to have a few things taken care of that were concerns and was never followed up with. one complaint was that there were dirty boxers laying on the deck and the rental agent made it seem like it was our fault and asked if it was ours, there was about 2 inches of dust on the fans practically falling off we had to clean because the house was so hot at times we needed the fan on, the hot tub wasn't working properly the pool area was filthy, there was no power in the one bunk room the shower curtain liners were practically falling off. also there were ant traps in the kitchen and ants everywhere including our babies formula and food we had bought and were forced to throw away.

Many light bulbs burned out in bathrooms. Most of the games are missing pieces, we organized them all to make sure. After 9 trips to OBX we are Just disappointed with our experience at this rental.

The location is amazing! However the house was not clean when we got there! There was a broken screen door in the downstairs there was no lights on top deck ( repair man confirmed that) we had to clean are property when we got there. We cleaned the house while we made all the family wait outside it looked like the only thing that was done was the beds where made. The top deck screen is coming out we fixed it many times but as soon as the wind blows it comes back out. I personally watched the cleaners clean a rental beside us they went in at noon at 12:23pm they left so how much are they really cleaning especially with the Covid going around. Other then the shape of the house we had an amazing vacation!

In general, we had a satisfying stay and the location was good. Our greatest disappointment was with the overall maintenance of the house, which in some areas seems to have been deferred. For example, the skirting around the hot tub was in poor condition and falling off in several areas. One of the two dishwashers was newly installed, but was not properly affixed to the inside cabinet. This resulted in the dishwasher tilting forward when opening the drawers with dishes in it (I contacted the real estate maintenance company and they came to check it. They said they would order the part and install it, but that had not happened prior to our departure.) The intake vent and filter for the air conditioner near the kitchen was filthy, and it appeared that the filter wasn't likely changed recently. One doorknob for a back door fell off in our hand. We managed to screw that back on ourselves. Overall, the house itself was reasonably clean when we arrived, however, we were met with ashtrays on the back deck area and the pool area that were filled with cigar buts and water, despite this being a non-smoking house. Access to the beach was a plus, as it was relatively simple to drive a block or two and park at the public access area and walk onto the beach. Comparatively, the house we rented from Beach Realty last year was much cleaner, and far better maintained, so this let to our reasonable level of disappointment with this year's rental. I would only recommend this property to a friend if I made them aware of the maintenance issues first.
