Situated in Rock Hall, this attractive house for $392 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Charming and spacious two-bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage with glimpses of the Chesapeake Bay and very close to the Rock Hall beach. Enjoy morning walks and beautiful sunsets. Our wide streets and low speed limits make this a bicycle friendly town. The beach is family friendly. The shallow water makes it ideal for kids young and old. Rock Hall is a charming old fishing village, noted to be one of the South's best small towns by Southern Living Magazine in 2016. You can shop at the local grocery store or eat out. Rock Hall has a variety of wonderful restaurants from outdoor dining by the marina, to several local delights in town. And several local seafood outlets that sell sweet Chester River crabs with take out options. There is Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge to the South and historic Chestertown, home of Washington College, to the North.

We stayed in this property earlier this year. We had a nice, restful time. The property is very well kept and pet friendly. The location is great! Right around the corner from the Chesapeake Bay plus nearby dining options at Blue Heron Oyster House and Muskrat Alley.
The only two concerns that we had were the lack of detailed instructions with turning the heater on and regulating the temperature and lack of outside lighting at back door and backyard. It is very dark and somewhat unsafe. This being said we would definitely stay again.

The house is on a great location, close to beach, close to restaurants, close to marinas. Clean and comfortable, check-in was easy and you could tell owner put a lot of thought into how to make the place feel special. My first experience with VRBO and I was really happy with it.

Great experience - my wife and I stayed for a long weekend coinciding with my participation in the waterman’s triathlon. I have stayed at other properties in rock hall for this event but this property was head and shoulders above the rest!

The house was lovely!
Excellent location close to a nearby restaurant in less than a 1/2 a block away from the beach. Can see the water from the front door!

The Coleman Cottage was everything we had hoped for in a short getaway place for our family to run off to. Beautiful house
The house was beautiful and very well cared for. We had bikes and beach supplies available to use. We were about a block away from the small Rock Hall beach, but it wasn’t very clean and we chose not to swim there. However, we visited a beach about 30 min away (recommended by the owner in the binder of info she left) and had a great time.

Truly a GEM in Rock Hall
The Coleman Cottage was everything we had hoped for in a short getaway place for our family to run off to. Not only was it well located to all of the wonderful restaurants, shops, and wildlife of the area, the house itself was perfection. It was the quintessential beach cottage down to the details of comfort and little nuances…such as a sweet library, board games, a wonderful yard, and amenities to make our stay comfortable. We highly recommend this place!

Nice home, steps to Ferry Park Beach!
We enjoyed our stay! We were even left a bag of crab chips by the keys; that was a nice welcome gift. The house had everything that we needed for our stay! We loved the games and sand toys! Having chairs for the beach was nice too! The rooms were comfortable. Rock Hall is such a relaxing place and a great place to visit with young children! There were a lot of mosquitos but that's probably all over. We enjoyed bringing our pets along. We also loved the art work and maps throughout the house. Also upon arriving to any home I always check to make sure the windows are locked; this is the ONLY place I've stayed that had every window locked! Great night time outdoor lighting too. You can walk to the beach to swim and then later for sunset! You can also walk to a restaurant! Great location and home! Thanks!

Everything was just perfect. Would stay in any one of Diane’s houses again. Her attention to detail is wonderful. We especially loved how clean and comfortable the home was as well as it being dog friendly!

Great house in a beautiful location
House is an easy walk to a small beach perfect for small kids and in a quiet neighborhood. House was lovely and the neighbors are very friendly. We will definitely check to see if this house is available when we travel in the area again!
