Convenience location, decent breakfast

Location is great.

No hair conditioner nor body lotion. Limited TV station and not so straightforward to link your own content to the hotel‘s TV.

Frühstück gut, aber sehr voll

Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet, leider war es jedoch sehr voll. Man ist kaum von der Stelle gekommen. Die eingeplanten Räumlichkeiten sind für die Anzahl an Gästen nicht ausreichend. Dadurch hat es auch stark an der Gemütlichkeit gefehlt. Die Lage war gut um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein. Wir hatten eine Aussicht auf die Lobby und gegenüberliegende Büros. Mit anderen Worten: das Fenster war nicht nach draußen ausgerichtet sondern ins Innere des Hotels. Wie oben beschrieben, war es beim Frühstück sehr voll und daher auch sehr laut. Erst am letzten Tag, als wir direkt zu Beginn der Frühstückszeit kamen (da wir früh abgereist sind), haben wir überhaupt mitbekommen, dass dort leise Hintergrundmusik gespielt wurde.

Amazing

The hotel facilities are well structured and the breakfast is insanely amazing. The room was compact but comfortable and the balcony was a major extra. The bathroom is very well equipped and the staff was friendly. The location is not the most central, but easily accessible by a 5-10 minute walk to and from everywhere.

There are no mini-fridges in the rooms and it can be a little bit small for a bigger person walking around. There’s also an unnecessary chair in the room that takes a bit of walking space.

Good stay, even with some points to be improved

Fantastic breakfast, location

Very small room, could barely open the luggage We stayed 3 nights, not once did we get our room cleaned even after I specifically asked the reception during breakfast

The room I had was much smaller than advertised, it was noisy, and wasn’t cleaned sufficiently at any point during my stay

worth your money

The location is great, quiet and near to most of the attractions. The breakfast is superb, the best we ever meet.

The outgoing carpet from the bathroom was missing (well, in the whole country ... not only in this hotel). The washbasin has a faulty design, the water runs off it. Not enough space for toiletres.

Very good

Great breakfast, big selection of cold and hot dishes. Underground parking, although paid (hotel guests have a discount) was easy to find with good parking space in it.

The room was very cold after I checked in - as if the heating was off on the whole floor just until my arrival. Only next morning temperature reached a comfortable level.

When you write parking is include , no need to pay 480 NOK fee for parking by customer.when we search in booking we need hotel that parking is included this hotel come to our list and we book the hotel and when we travel from Sweden to Oslo the reception of hotel said that you could park in P-central and paid 480 NOK per day .

location is almost center of Oslo

I am driving an electrical vehicle so I book hotels which are listed with chargers. St. Olaf Scandic have 5(?) small chargers in -3 basement. The chargers are not even 11kW. They couldn’t charge my Volvo in full over a nights stay. The parking basement are very narrow and with 498 NOK per 24 hrs it is completely overpriced. The hotel rate is OK taking Norway prices into consideration but the parking price is unacceptable.

The location is excellent within walking distance of the National Theatre, Parliament and the Central hubs. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok.

Pleasant

The breakfast was great, good selection of different foods. The location of the hotel was truely excellent! When we had problems concerning our room the staff at the hotel did listen to our complaints and tried to fix the issues and eventually also they were able to fix the issues.

When we arrived the person working in the reception did not give us any basic information about the hotel, for example when is the breakfast or that there is gym. Furthermore, we did not get the room we had booked i.e. we did not get what we ordered and there was also problems with the heating of the room given to us.

We had THE BEST stay! We had a warm welcome and any time we needed reception, they were informative and efficient. Breakfast was outstanding, so much to choose from, fresh and varied each day. The hotel is a 6 min walk from central Oslo, and easily walkable to all the tourist spots and still in a lovely quiet area for a peaceful sleep. Our room was clean, the shower was lovely and housekeeping were fabulous each day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, excellent value for money for this wonderful hotel.

I expected an "Economy" room, not an insult.

Your reception crew is the friendliest and most helpful I have experienced anywhere. They have to be in order to make up for the deficiencies of the actual hotel. The breakfast staff was also very good, as was the food, but on my first morning the soft boiled egg container did not reappear until I had finished eating, and on no morning was there pickled herring to accompany the pickled beets (very odd),and the smoked salmon was third rate with dark fat on just about every messy slice — not a good place for cost cutting.

The room first assigned me was appalling and I managed to get it changed for one that at least had a small desk where I could put things in the absence of cupboard, closet, or a single bureau drawer. the new drawback was that the shower was set in a bathtub with sides so high that one experience convinced me I was taking my life in my hands, especially since there were no friction stripes in the bathtub nor any grab bars there or near the toilet

Staying guests be aware.

Location was great. It was easy walking distance to all of the main attractions. Breakfast was very good.

Facilities. The TV, phone and safe were all not working. We reported the tv but nobody came to fix it. The restaurant was only open for corporate events, not for staying guests. It seemed that corporate events had the priority over staying guests.

Loved Oslo and would highly recommend this hotel

superb buffet breakfast; comfy beds and location was quite central. What I appreciated so much was the 24/7 coffee machine that gave us a boost at any time of the day.
