Our room and bathroom was very small but adequate for 2. We only ate once in the breakfast room and it was okay. The staff was fantastic, we needed a little extra help they came through for us. The best feature of the Celtic Lodge was its location. It was easy walking distance to tour bus pickup locations plus entertainment along O'Connell Not that far from Trinity College.
No elevator, tiny shower.

Great location and staff.
Room and bathroom so small.

The Guesthouse is located in a really central position. All the main Dublin‘s attractions are at walking distance.
The breakfast was superb and the lady who served us was super friendly and nice!
Our room was small but cozy and clean.
The pub downstairs plays traditional music during the evenings and we could hear it from our room. It didn’t bother us at all but it can be an issue for someone.

It was horrible, bad location, bad part of town … it seemed like they should charge by the hour… we did not even check in.
The listing was misleading. No nearby secured parking. Bad part of town

Very covenient for tourism.
We knew it was located over a pub. We did not realize it was an outdoor pub. I didn't mind the music and conversation, but it did bother my husband. I actaully enjoyed listening tot he music while falling asleep.

Very simple room and space. Relatively clean, but much more expensive than I would have liked. The receptionist/manager Sean was very helpful and knowledgable.
The price point is more an issue with overpriced accommodations in Dublin in general.

Thé location is amazing. The price was one of the best prices for location in Dublin. The guy who greeted us at front desk was very helpful. And we got early check in which we were not expecting.
Someone walked in on us from house keeping. We got early check in so I guess someone got their wires crossed. Was just a bit awkward since it was super hot so I was chilling in my underwear.
One of the biggest problems is the rooms are very hot but outside is super loud. Could be really fun but when you have an early flight it’s not great. If they had fans in the rooms or air conditioning it would fix the problem. It’s also not the most comfortable bed but not the worst.

The staff was really nice.
The room was not looking like on the picture. Bed broken and a shower which was not really clean. The room was noisy....

Quaint place with the nicest staff. Rooms and bathrooms are small but we had a super quiet nights sleep. Attached to a few cool pubs with excellent food and drinks. We were very happy.
Small bathroom and no elevator

I love that they allowed us to leave our luggage for the day once we checked out. It’s centrally located and very close to the main train station so it was easy to go explore Dublin and then pop back in and grabs our bags before we headed to the airport.
The water pressure in the shower was barely enough to rinse my hair.

Sea'n the manager was great and extremely helpful. The location was great and breakfast was included.
Some of the staff were slightly rude. The mattresses were uncomfortable. The door didn't lock and we couldn't find a sign on the door to let staff know we were still sleeping

The friendly staff at the Celtic Lodge ensured that we had a pleasant stay. There was always someone at the front desk to buzz us in (which made the already-safe hotel feel extra secure), and they were quick to offer recommendations and answer questions. Our room was spotless with daily housekeeping. Our double room would be tight for large people (especially the bathroom), but it worked well for us with our small bags.

My flight to Dublin was delayed by 26 hours so I phoned and asked if my partner could check in when she arrived instead, the staff were really helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Berkay for being so kind and helping with a late check in.

bathroom looked like it renovated renovated recently but mould everywhere. the noise form the bar late on was shocking and the street. the windows are literally very old; the heat doesn’t heat the room
and if you sleeping on 3 floor you climb a lot of stairs.
