The staff was extremely friendly, and the property had a nice downtown location. From there we were able to travel to all the WWII locations. The American cemetery was beautiful and overlooked Omaha beach. We enjoyed two dinners at the property as well as breakfast on each morning. We also found a small laundromat about two blocks from the hotel as this was the midpoint of our trip. Would certainly stay here again.

The location is excellent- close to all we wanted to see in Bayeux. Staff is very friendly & helpful.
Nothing.

I didn’t like the ceiling beam that I kept hitting my head on,one time very hard

The location of this hotel was excellent. Staff were very kind and so helpful too. Our bed was surprisingly comfortable. Loved the on-site restaurant.
We liked everything about the hotel. I should mention it does not have a lift, so you have to take the stairs. But what it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in so many other ways.

lack of an elevator, but we managed.

Great central location and helpful staff. Comfortable, but small, room, by US standards. They held our suitcases while we were on a tour, which was helpful.

Room and facilities were excellent. Room was very spacious, especially for European standards, and comfortable. Our room sat right on the river with a beautiful view overlooking it. Really great value for the price of the room.
Paid breakfast could have included more choices for the 14EUR pp price.

The room was a great location for visiting all around Normandy. Restaurant was ok, convenient if you don’t feel like going out. WI-FI did not work so if we didn’t have international phone plan it would have made planning trips a bit inconvenient.
Wi-Fi not working and staff not too interested in correcting.

We loved the location and room was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. We did not opt for breakfast plan as we left early for a tour. The hotel was more than accommodating to hold our luggage for the day. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Place was a little cold, heating system not compatible with the high ceilings

The hotel is beautiful, the food for breakfast was a full spread and yummy, and dinner was delicious with many unique and tasty options. The staff for the hotel/restaurant are courteous, kind, and willing to go the extra mile. We arrived exhausted after midnight from a long drive, and a lady staff was there to greet us and was wonderful. The grounds and location are absolutely beautiful, too! Great price for a comfortable stay.
My only suggestion is that the shampoo/conditioner be replaced with something better. Also, the towels are super old and thin.

Everything was great!

Great location, comfortable room, the breakfast and dinner I had were both superb.
The only thing that wasn't spotless was parts of the shower. Not many vegetarian options either.

We initially found the room to be cold and damp. Once we got Aurelien to look at he he immediately got the heating going in the room. We must commend Aurelien as he was fantastic with staff regardless of various issues from other clients. He took everything at stride and managed with a pleasant attitude. He really is an asset to the hotel. He also assisted with the parking.
We found the bathroom had a peculiar smell,

Location of the hotel was excellent. Two minute taxi ride from train station or a 15 minute walk (according to Apple Maps). ATMs across street. Conveniently located for walking within the town & viewing sites such as the cathedral & the Bayeaux tapestry. Comfortable rooms. Restaurant was open throughout day everyday. Breakfast was fresh and offered a variety of items. Indoor & outdoor dining. Beautiful picturesque location for walking.
The two flight of stairs, particularly the second flight up to my room. The room was 38. I had previously stayed in the same annex building years ago but on the ground level and I had not anticipated the stairs. However, the room was very nice & spacious. The young woman at the front desk graciously carried our heavy carry-on luggage to the room - A full size luggage would require some negotiation on the stairs. Recommend guests request information regarding the stairs necessary to reach their room. Limited taxi availability in town - the front desk can schedule in advance your return taxi to the train station.

Wonderful Hotel in an impressive location near to many of the must see sights and many shops and food establishments.
Has the only Restaurant in the area that is open 7 am - 10 pm daily (Le Garde Manger) and has extensive menu. Most restaurants close in early evening for a couple of hours before reopening between 7 - 7:30 pm for a couple of hours. Thus, can be challenging to find a place to eat if don't have reservations. So highly recommend making reservations for lunch and dinner to be sure can get a seat - many restaurants are very small. And this is another advantage for this hotel's restaurant - it has significant outside and inside seating.
