Relatively good location, good value, and helpful staff. The room was clean and the bed was made everyday (not necessary IMO but a nice touch).
There's a 10 minute walk to any train station and I needed 25-40 minutes to get anywhere central although there are many stations and access points. The hotel was also very small and had minimal amenities. AC is available but I had to request it be activated (they disable it in most rooms unless asked).

Good location, clean and tidy, friendly staff, breakfast available
Pub across road a little noisy, but not too late

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Saint Charles. Great location, easy to get everywhere in Paris. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious

Rooms are small but OK. Comfortable, nice beds. Generally room was clean.
Hotel shower however, had significant amounts of black mold along the edges and corners of the shower. This might be quite bad for those sensitive to mold, especially black mold. Towels were not changed every day so had to use slightly smelly and damp towels. Upon check-in, the hotel asked me to pay for the full six days I planned to stay, and refused to refund any of my payment when I was forced to cut my trip short by a full day. Unlike other good hotels I've stayed at, they insisted that since I had paid for the full six days, they "could not" return any of my money even though I alerted them on the third day of my stay about the fact that I would have to leave a day earlier than I had planned. No, I would not recommend this hotel since much better options are available nearby.
