Great location for historic town and access to the zoo via the famous funicular. Small but excellent indoor swimming pool, big enough to do some lap swimming, and not crowded. Enjoyed the restaurant for drinks and dinner as well as breakfast.
Easy walk from main train station. Loved the dog assistant clerk at reception check-in. I have been to this hotel in both summer and winter and enjoyed both times. I will definitely be coming back.

Not ample parking for loading and unloading luggage, we did not get any help from the staff with the bags.
