The hotel itself is fantastic, clean, well appointed and a beautiful little courtyard.
What made our experience stand out boldly in our 2 week trip to Italy was Ilaria. She was working the front desk in the morning. Incredibly sweet, kind and a level of going out of her way to be helpful that any hotel (or any other business) should aspire to.
Offered coffee in the courtyard, recommendations and directions on what to see in the area. Just as kind and polite as anyone could ask. And when our rental car wouldn’t start (battery) she gathered up some workers around the hotel to drive over and give us a jumpstart. She even rode her bike down to the parking lot to meet them and us.
I own a small company in the US and would hire Ilaria in a second. She is exactly, in my opinion the perfect person to hire, retain and promote.
Thank you so much

arrival: no warm water, was fixed midday the next day. we were invited for a breakfast. breakfast is not worth it: no proper cofee, and you are way better of in any of the surrounding cafés.
One of the bedrooms only accessible through a shared bathroom.
Hotel unable to provide an invoice at checkout ("you should have contacted booking.com", "you should have provided details much earlier").
booking.com: "A valid invoice for tax purposes can only be issued by the property"
24 hours later: they just move on to the next, leaving customer without an invoice.
