Great Experience

Everything was better than expected. The staff was very accommodating and the happy hour and great breakfast were more than basic perks. We highly recommend Hotel David.

Thoughtful and special team!

The staff were fantastic, we came in late at 10:30pm and were starving so they booked us a local restaurant who had actually shut at at 11 just to take care of us. Amazing effort team!

A must stay in Florence!!

The hotel itself was a piece of art. It has an Italian charm from the first moment you step in the hall. The staff was super friendly and kind. Everything that we asked for, they delivered with huge smile. When it comes to the amenities, they had a full drink service 24/7 (free and some paid drinks depending on what you wanted on the place). There is always free water available to refill your bottles and free coffee and tea at all times. The room was spacious and had excellent views to the mountains and city with fully renovated bathrooms. They also have elevator! Important factor when it comes to old Italian buildings.One of the things that we liked the most is that during the evening, there is something called as "happy hour" that gave the opportunity to drink local wines for free with some snacks at the hotel. This was AMAZING to come back to the hotel after all day visiting Florence landmarks and have a good rest sipping a bit of local wine.When it comes to the car parking, it was super easy as they have a private parking in their property and it was for free, which is very rare to have in Florence.Its not far away from the city center around 10-15 min however, there are 2 bus stops right outside the hotel that takes you there in less than 5. The front desk even sells the bus tickets, so you dont need to worry about finding the place to buy them.Overall the experience in Hotel David was simply AMAZING. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful location set just out of town. Lots of included items including wonderful breakfast and happy hour with nice snacks. Definitely increases the value for your money.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's close to the historic city center, so you can easily walk to the Uffizi Gallery. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is extremely important in Florence. In the afternoon, they offer an hour of socializing with complimentary drinks, coffee, and snacks for hotel guests. They truly take care of their guests' well-being. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are renovated and nicely furnished.

Everything was great. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Happy hour with wind and hors d'oeuvres fabulous. Staff very nice and friendly and taller than they look in the picture!.

Loved everything. This was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. Will recommend this one for sure. .

Sweet and charming hotel with great staff and a fantastic happy hour.

Amazing breakfast and happy hour where we met a lot of very nice people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has the feel of an old time guest house with loads of charm. We were also happy to be staying on the other side of the Arno away from the crowds of tourists in the city center. Great views of the neighborhood rooftops from our room. About a 1 mile walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo to see the sweeping views of the Duomo across the river. Not far from city center, if you’re a walker, or an easy taxi ride. Recommend a visit to the Boboli Gardens at Pitti Palace. Close to many cool, hip restaurants on this side of the Arno.

The hotel is a little close to the main road, but that can’t be changed. We were in the back of the hotel so it was relatively quiet.

Everything about Hotel David was exceptional. I can’t say enough about the staff. They went above and beyond all expectations. Many lovely extras like the happy hour and the breakfast was delicious and extensive.

lovely, friendly, a little to far away for my taste.

we loved the rooms and the staff. the property was very clean and the appetizers /breakfasts were excellent.

I found this to be too far to walk into Florence. we walked once but got caught in the rain so we ended up taking taxis everywhere.

Totally fabulous 5 days, thank you. Highly recommend Hotel David.

Really comfortable bed, lovely room which was spotlessly clean. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Happy hour every evening was fabulous with choice of wine and other beverages and tasty snacks all free of charge. Had a parking slot our entire stay. Friendly and polite staff who can’t do enough for you. This was our 2nd visit in 2 years, we returned with our friends who loved it as much as we did. Fantastic location only a 20 minute stroll into centre of Florence, if needed there is a regular bus which is really cheap.

This was my favorite hotel stay in Italy!!

The breakfast was delicious and had many choices. One morning we had a very early tour and they provided breakfast to go, it was perfect! Not only was the hotel beautiful, comfy and in a great location, the staff were all amazing, going far beyond the basics to make sure all our needs were met! I would definitely come back and highly recommend to others!

really nice property with friendly and helpful staff. loved the breakfast and happy hour was really great. the hotel is a bit of distance from the center of town- a good 45 minute walk. would have used the bus more if we had known how far it was. would definitely stay again!

A great choice

An awesome stay from start to finish. We loved the location with the nice walk into the centre and the neighbourhood restaurants and bars. The best of both worlds. Hotel David was spotlessly clean, great staff who answered instantly and were so friendly. we would stay again 100%
