Breakfast was well stocked . fresh and plenty of options . lovely porridge, could have had more fresh bread, eg rolls etc
The dinner I had was extremely poor, Very disappointing indeed. To start I had the pigeon with lentils, pigeon was hard and stale, the lentils were more like a grey mushy mess on my plate. I ate what I could but certainly didn't finish it. The salmon with crab Ravioli was another disaster, the salmon portion enough for a child, and the 1 x crab ravioli was hard and inedible. I ate the salmon and left the rest. The pineapple sponge pudding with rum and coconut ice cream was far from the show stopper I was expecting . The ice cream which is why i ordered it was no more than a dessert spoonful, the cake itself was minus pineapple or rum for that matter , but came with some pineapple bits on the side. To top off my evening , I asked for a glass of wine but in a larger glass, which was served to me in a lager glass !! Absolute joke from start to finish. Had my company had not been paying for dinner , I would have refused to pay for any of it .

Generally a lovely hotel, fantastic venue
Unfortunately the only thing the hotel didnt let us know there were 2 large weddi gs going off and it took 30/45 minutes to get down the driveway. The only other thing is whilst at the bar we ordered food and it didnt arrive, so after 50 minutes we were issued a refund but went hungry

Lovely spacious room, friendly staff at reception.
Breakfast was of poor standard for £16 per person Not much selection of pastries. Food had been under warmer too long. eggs hard.
