The cleanliness of the whole room. Price of stay.
To be referred to a room at the very end of the hotel, out and in doors, up and down stairs. Although I could not expect any specific luxury for that price, I certainly had expected at least a single table lamp and a single bedside table. I was forced to turn on all the light which really annoyed me or to move around in the television light. It was a single room yes, but such modest requirements should not be missing. It is so irritating to have to drag around with a heavy chair, having to use that as a table by the bed..

The location is very convenient and easy to find. The breakfast we paid for was a good value and choice for our family. My husband and I upgraded our room upon arrival, and that was lovely for an extra £10 worth it for the soaker tub! Having tea and coffee in the room was good for early risers. Having a restaurant on site made it easy for us to not have to drive anywhere and the food was excellent! Drink menu was good, and atmosphere in the bar was cozy.
Paid parking was a downfall, it should be free. Having extra towels and room amenities would be nice. The only thing with the station restaurant was it took almost an hour for our dinner to arrive.
