The location is very close the the train station. The people are friendly.
The smell of smoke everywhere. Needed to leave to window open all night for fresh air but then, the music was blasting the whole evening. Great if you're looking for a place to party and enjoy the smell of cigarettes.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was really friendly and willing to help all the time. The hotel is just few steps to the Schaffhausen city center.

Good stay in the Zak Hotel Schaffhausen. Can be a bit noisy (ear plugs) but overall very happy.

Good location in the Altstadt. We travel with kids and want the ability to buy groceries to eat. The studio has a fridge, kitchen sink and oven. We stayed here in 2018, on our return in 2023 the furniture had been updated.

Checkin and checkout were quick. Bed was ok.
It smelled of smoke everywhere. Hotel has a bar with seats out front, smoke and noise comes up to the window.
Shared shower had a wet dirty towel on the ground in front. Room key was sticky.

Best option for travelers who got stuck in Switzerland due to Deutschebahn cancelling their train, as they are prone to do. Cheap, comfy, quiet, and close both to the city centre and the railway station.
