Pleasant

Since the location is among the night market, it's very noisy at night. The bed is comfy but overall I think the room is quiet dusty & dirty plus the bathing area is quite weird. Definitely not going back and willing to pay more to get better hotel.

Nice hotel with cute decor in a great location in Luang Prabang

Very cute hotel - love the decor and how each room is themed. Excellent location for walking around Luang Prabang - right next to the night market. We did not have any issues with noise and we stayed in two rooms. - our flight was cancelled so we ended up booking an extra night after check out. The front desk was very helpful as we had to figure out new travel plans! Breakfast was also incredible each day!

Very welcoming staff and comfortable stay! Location and service was great.

The staff made our stay amazing and so is the location itself! I had all that I needed for the stay - hairdryer and everything- you can pack your clothes and just come (or buy some elephant pants at the night market). The butterfly pea (welcome drink) was very refreshing and breakfast menu was also very filling.

The bathroom in the bedroom did not have enough ventilation and caused the room to smell.

large rooms, separate toilet and shower rooms. Good large breakfast. friendly helpful staff. in the heart of the night market and morning Market. and not noisy as the night market winds up around 10pm+. ATM just outside. shirtwalk from Royal Palace

a bit of a walk to other restaurants for meals. too many stairs, no lift. needs a fresh coat of paint. bed headboard needs fixing. window blinds need fixing

Second stay here - Great choice in Luang Prabang

This was our second visit to Indigo House - we stayed previously in 2019. We requested the same room ('Royalty') as it is on the front of the hotel, overlooking the buzzing central square area & where the night market starts. The rooms are very clean, beds are super comfortable, the staff are very helpful & friendly & the location is great. The balcony in the room is also perfect for relaxing in the late afternoon, watching the night market set up. There is also a fab cake shop on site, and also a rooftop cafe bar. A ten minute stroll through the night market takes you to a really pretty area with lots of great restaurants on the main street & also by the river.

On our previous visit, the breakfast was buffet style & was really good. This time there was no buffet - it was cooked to order but was pretty poor. We tried it on two days but then ate out on the remining days

very convenience, friendly staff, Unfriendly for Family trip with old age family's member

the location is very convenience in case you want to stay in the night market area and also walk only 5 mins to the Royal palace. the staff are very kind and helpful.

Unfriendly for Family trip with old age family's member. I traveled with old age guests and I was informed that the twin room is on the 3rd floor which is almost unacceptable but we put ourself a try then when we arrived the guests had to walk up the stairs to **the 4th floor** which is installed at the opposite side of the sky gallery which is very loud at night, so it wasn't match well with the guest type.

Great location, nice breakfast and nice restaurant, but rooms basic and not clean.

This hotel is in a wonderful location in the main street and is right at the start of the night and food markets. The hotel itself, or rather the rooms left a lot to be desired. Possibly due to Covid the quality of the room has gone down hill. Not very clean at all, very limited towels, rooms were not not properly made up. Broken tap, grotty hand basin, dust and dirt on many things. We stayed here before and it was basic then, but this time was pretty poor. The breakfast is super good and we also had a lovely meal at the rooftop restaurant and the location is of course fantastic. I hope they will be able to get the place back to a more acceptable level.

Simply The Best - Indigo House Hotel

Big comfortable room. Excellent a/c Hot shower Rooftop bar is a real plus - probably the best bar space in town and right at the end of the night market. Nice downstairs breakfast restaurant and cafe.

We would absolutely recommend this hotel for a short or lengthy stay in Luang Prabang!

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the reception staff and showed to our room. We stayed in the “Peace” room which was by far our favourite during our time in Asia thus far. The rooms are clean and ours came with a picturesque stone corner bath. The staff are very helpful and there is a varied selection for breakfast each morning. The location places you beside a delicious food market (incredible value for money), as well as a short walk to the morning market, river and plethora of good restaurants.

Nothing to improve upon in our opinion.

Excellent one night stay.

The hotel is the highest building in town. Top floor bar served delicious Lao food and offered excellent view. Front desk staff was very friendly and helped take our luggage to our top floor room. Breakfast was good. Wifi signal is not bad.

Noisy hotel but enjoyed at overall

The rooftop, the staff and the location.

The location is amazing, marvelous breakfast and the staff is incredible. The really problem is related to the noisy. We stayed at elegance and there is no night that we could sleep without waking up in the middle of the street. This room has windows turned to the morning market so early in the morning the noisy starts. The hotel should invest in windows that isolate better.

Small but Great house hotel.

Welcome drink( indigo juice) and fruit which was served every day(apple, pear, tamarind, mango, tangerine with knife to cut) were great. Breakfast was good, specially the bread. Before staying, I thought this hotel will be very noisy because of the night market opens beside the hotel building. It was surely noisy compared to normal hotels, specially late afternoon and evening. But my room was quite good to stay. The location was great and was the very heart of the cultural, historical area. I highly recommend this hotel if you can bear a little troubles which I don't mind that much.

1. TV was black and white because TV monitor was out of order. An engineer visited to repair but it was unhelpful. 2. Bathroom amenity was terrible. Dispensers containing liquid shampoo and bath gel was almost broken and stuck I can't use them. But the mini bar soap was good. 3. Towels were very old and worn ones.

Great stay at an amazing hotel.

Great little hotel, excellent location, right at the start of the daily night market. Staff at the hotel are amazing, always willing to help. the rooms are spacious, clean. There's fresh fruit left in the room daily. Great shower. Amazing breakfast!
