I would highly recommend Swiss Cottage apartments to anyone planning to visit this area.

The Manager had maintained great communication prior to our arrival, and had very kindly upgraded our booking so that our rooms were virtually side by side - mine with a mountain view and my friends with a really sunny aspect. We had a washing machine in one of the apartments and the whole set up suited our needs perfectly. The Mountain View room was huge with an enormous bed, clean bed linen and a lovely seating area. There was a good selection of wines in both our apartments which we were able to pay for on an honesty policy which was great as it was very hard to buy any wine in Camps Bay itself. The security was perfect with lots of locks and locked gates too. Sadly we both picked up a stomach bug from somewhere at the end of out stay and were so grateful for the peace and quite of being able to stay in our rooms close to the bathroom!

If we were to be really picky, both rooms were slightly dusty and the fingerprint smiley face which had been drawn on the outside of one of my windows was still there when we left! However, the area is really windy and it is probably difficult to keep the windows clean. We only really noticed the dust on the glass table top above the fridge and old carpet because we were so ill we both spent most of the last two days in our rooms!! These were absolutley minor points.

Perfect location, 3 minuter to shops,beach & restaurants Stayed 3 weeks in a cottage with lovely veranda. Great host Chris, and Darwin who is at the property from Monday to Friday is an incredible hard working chap. Peaceful location.

Perfect locatie voor een goede prijs

We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een grotere kamer en een gratis late out check. Locatie was perfect dichtbij het centrum en het strand.

I am happy to recommend this quaint and historical guest house.

Warm friendly welcome by Chris who went the 'extra' mile and accommodated the additional guest without hesitation. Despite the cold weather in CT, the guest cottage was warm and cosy; a Sunday spent indoors by one of our party was relaxing and peaceful. The facilities and excellent location are well worth and good for value.

the property is a VERY old cottage but incredible location!

its very unfortunate that during our stay there was hectic construction right next door so terrible noise from 8 am to 4 pm. if not for that it was fine. Also there was a cat that kept trying to get into our rooms in the middle of the night.

Apart from the bathroom and some other small things the area is very safe.

The location was very good, there was a bar fridge, microwave oven and fans. Chris that helped us was very friendly. The bed that we slept on was also moderate comfortable.

The bathroom is very small, taller people would not fit and the stairs to the room was very steep. The couch was also not that comfortable.

Great location but Campsbay accommodatiion is expensive !

Location is great.

Campsbay is general is very expensive. This was one of the cheaper options. Not good value for money and I propose not staying in Campsbay buy rather travel there daily.

A beautiful location in a stunning part of Cape Town, but the property was a bit disappointing.

The location was great - easily walkable to shops, restaurants and the beach. The host was helpful and accommodating of my late check in time.

The bathroom was not fit for purpose as it was far too small. Room was stiflingly not even with the aircon. Very difficult to find parking.

It was safe. We forgot something on check out and the gentleman cold us to let us.

In the morning of the following day.The property was dirty, regardless of being late the room was still not prepared. The sheets were dirty. We were given 2 toilet paper for 4 days. We actually out of tissue and when we asked we were told we will be given day. It was a horrible experience. Bin was not taken out for the entire stay.

Nice place, but I probably would not book again.

Well located, just a short walk to the beach. Darwin, the housekeeper was very sweet a d helped carry our bags and made sure we were settled in.

The decor and interior was very strange and poorly designed. it felt like everything was cramped and placed in strange spots in the room. The sheets and bedding was awful quality and didn’t smell nice and the towel rack kept falling off the wall. The place definitely needs a bit of a makeover.
